They repaired the AC and it worked for the Summer. I also bought the maintenance service - they were hired to come inspect the unit twice a year. Once in the Fall/Winter and again in the Spring/Summer. They missed the second inspection and the unit broke down again. I asked for a discount on the repair; no. I then asked for half of my money back on the maintenance service because they did not do the second inspection; no. They would only come out and repair the unit and then inspect it. WHAT?!!! I called repeatedly and asked to speak with managers. I finally received a call from a gentleman who seemed to understand my dilemma and said he would get back to me. I have not heard from them since. At this point, I believe I still have a credit to have my unit inspected by them, but I will simply consider it a loss. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I have a background with 40 years of designing HVAC units and One Hour has been able to come out and improve my system and I was truly impressed. They have done work for us on several occasions, both at my house and at my church. They are very professional, very much on the current systems and they are very knowledgeable.

Well, a technician showed up on time. He went up the attic to check the system. Meanwhile, he gathered summary history of my HVAC system. There is a small spigot in the induction motor casing that had clogged. He tried to unclog it(or so he pretended) for some time. For next 30 minutes, he tried to sell me a new HVAC system. He told me the Freon used in HVAC wont be available starting 2013. They are running a special for new HVAC systems...on and on went the sales pitch. I asked if the current problem can be fixed while I think about big ticket replacement. He told me I have to replace the complete induction motor. The cost is 1489 but If I agree for 1 year warranty- its 851+124 ~ 1000 USD. He also parted a free advice that I better replace the HVAC which will cost me another 2000+ USD, but will be brand new system. Long story short, I have no option but to replace my system for a simple spigot being blocked. I just did not buy this seling cool aid. I spoke to my neighbor who was as skeptic as I am. He referred me to another contractor with great Angieslist ratings. The new contractor came, fixed the system in 15 mins for a simple cost of 100$. As to Freon R 22 being stopped in 2013, its pure white lie. I found details here http://www.epa.gov/ozone/title6/phaseout/22phaseout.html Stay away from them if you can. They are not there to fix your HVAC but fix you to buy a new system.

The service was great from start to finish. The salesman and technician reviewed my 21 year old systems and pointed out areas likely to cause repairs or failures in coming years. The problems were all related to the age of the systems and made sense with what I've seen over the last five years. The salesman explained the comfort and energy savings benefits of upgrading to new units when I was ready. We worked together to find the best systems I could get within my budget and preferences. Fortunately, there was an opening in their schedule within a couple days and so they sent more than 2 crews of people to install the upstairs and downstairs furnaces as well as the 2 AC units outside. They completed all work within 1 long day and did an excellent job. My wife was happy with everyone's professionalism and kindness. I thought they did an excellent, clean, job and even re-routed 2 ducts overhead into the attic rafters to get them off the attic walkway. The installation techs were some of the smartest professionals I've had the pleasure of meeting. They explained the systems, what they did, and made sure all my questions were answered. I will use them for annual HVAC servicing and likely for a plumbing job and will definitely recommend them to others.

The "service tech", and I use quotes around service tech because this guy was a salesman with a service tech name tag, spent about 10 minutes looking at my heat pump before he tried to sell me on a new one. He didn't clean anything, in fact he said he couldn't. He also quoted me on a new unit (how convenient) and based off of what I've seen the price was pretty high. Would not recommend this company again.

They did a great job. They were pretty punctual and thorough. The staff was really knowledgeable about their jobs. The quality of their work was superb. I have actually used them several different times prior to them coming in and putting in the new heating and air conditioning system. They are very technically-oriented and explained a lot of things to us and helped us decide a lot of different things.
