Nova Sealcoating

Within a month of the work being finished the cracks and roughness were coming back. Many phone calls and texts without a response contacted Thumbtack and they reached out to Gino. He than stopped by and made excuses but stated he would gladly correct our problem, never to get back to us. Thumbtack informed us he no longer is listed with them so I file with the Attorney General's office not having heard back yet. Also contacted channel 9 and sent info, they are trying to help. My next move is Small Claim Court.

When moving into a newly built home, one of the moving company trucks dripped oil spots down the new concrete driveway. In an attempt to clean the damage the moving company sent out Nova Sealcoating to do a chemical wash on the spots. Gino was friendly enough, but not extremely responsive when trying to schedule the work. He had to cancel the night before the first Sat morning appointment we had agreed to, but he did show up at least on the rescheduled date. At the end of his visit, he told me he definitely got all the oil out and it just needed to dry. However, once it dried, it was clear the oil was not all out. From research we also saw a lot of writings that indicated usually with the chemical cleaners it was not uncommon to need more than one treatment. We reached out to the moving company (since they were the ones liable to get it fixed and paying the invoice) and they let the provider know they approved another visit to be scheduled. I made multiple calls to the provider, but did not get any response. I personally would not consider Nova Sealcoating for other work because of my poor customer service experience.
