The guys who came out were very thorough, very kind, and very professional. They did not try to push other services on us, though they were clear about our options for expanding and extending our service agreement. Very fair, very non-pressured. Highly recommended.

We had heard the tell tale sounds of mice in our walls so I quickly called Noosa Pest Management. The office personnel were very helpful and, after discussing all my options and their prices, I decided my money was best spent on a 1 year rodent/pest control package. This included 4 visits over 12 months. Pierre arrived on time for our first visit in December 2015 and did a whole house examination (including outside and in our attic space). He determined that we didn't have any major openings/problems and that our mouse problem was minimal. Pierre set the poison in strategic places and filled in one or two spaces he noticed around our bathroom plumbing pipes. He also did an external spray for pests and dusted/cleaned out several old wasp nests under our eaves. I never heard the mice again after that day and I feel confident that over the course of the year these quarterly checks will help us prevent any further problems.
Description of Work: Examined our entire home, put down mouse bait and sprayed the outside of home for bug pest prevention.

Noosa is a very good customer oriented company. Whenever they find out a customer is not fully satisfied, they will go out of there way to remedy the situation. If you are looking for a better alternative to large chain pest control, Noosa is a very good choice. I recommend them.

Noticed what we thought were fleas in our home, although we have no pets. I contacted Noosa who promptly scheduled an appointment to spray for the pests. Our home was treated on Monday but after continuing to see them on Thursday, sent an e-mail seeking a resolution. Within ½ hour of sending the e-mail I received a call from Noosa?s owner! He indicated the company wanted to ensure we were taken care of and promised to follow-up. They scheduled a return visit for the following morning with their ?wildlife expert? to search for a ?host? for the fleas. When the expert arrived he inspected the house, found what I thought were fleas and identified them instead as drain flies. He then inspected our attic as well as our crawl space to ensure there were no ?varmints? or drain leaks to provide a haven for the drain flies. Before he left he conducted a further search where he found that something (potatoes maybe?) had gone bad in our pantry and hadn?t been cleaned up properly thereby providing a breeding ground for the pests! He then cleaned the offending bags from the pantry and sprayed to kill the flies and their larvae. I realize this is a very long explanation but wanted to indicate the thoroughness of Noosa?s technicians. He wouldn?t leave until he was assured he had found the culprit for our problem By the way, they NEVER pushed me to purchase additional services or invest in a ?treatment plan!? Great company ? HIGHLY recommend you consider their services!

It was great. We really needed them to come ASAP. The Noosa bug guy was so nice. I have peace of mind - which is so important when it comes to the health and well being of my baby boy.
Description of Work: The bugs at my mom's house are really bad. She takes care of my baby boy so it is extremely important to keep him safe. Noosa's friendly and professional staff were prompt and sprayed for bugs.

Well. I am really disappointed and aggravated on how they performed. Not only were they there less than an hour, they laid 3 traps and basically sealed one entry point (which the mouse eat right through). My girlfriend was home at the time and I was not there and I felt like they were in and out and didn't take this job seriously. They told her they would follow up in two weeks which they never did. Ann had to end up calling this week. As soon as I got to her house I asked what they did and immediately knew we paid 135.00 for something that I could have done, but we waited the 2 weeks anyway just for the fact that these are supposed to be specialists. In that two weeks I believe the bait traps caught one mouse that we know of (which died from eating the bait). It had gotten so bad with the mice that we had to put out sticky traps to get them out of the house. We ended up catching abut 22 in a week and a half (5 on one sticky trap which were all baby mice so they had time to breed again). We took them away from the house and released them from the traps with vegetable oil and they ran off in the woods. Not all of them made it alive but we did our best to let them go and release them. The kids in the house were so freaked by the amount that they were bunched in the same room most nights scared to sleep by themselves. We called another pest control company and they were way more professional and more thorough about trying to rid the house of activity. Not only did they lay bait and sticky traps to lure them in in every room, cabinet and closet, but they checked all the closets and rooms in the house for nesting areas, checked the attic, checked all the kitchen cabinets and behind the washing machine and dryer. They ended up finding at least 2 other entry points and also advised that the increase was most likely due to the heat, the fact that they were knocking down trees to build a road, and the exposed entry points. They also scheduled to come back out next week and each week until we didn't see them anymore and also said if we see any issues or something missed they would come back out anytime. They sprayed the perimeter and house with some kind of insecticide for any other insects. In comparison to what Noosa did, it really was sad that this company is going around offering a service for 135.00 and not doing anything. It is like paying 135.00 an hour for someone to do the bare minimum. Very sad and disturbing. Take pride in your work. With this kind of service level I wouldn't be surprised if you are out of business within a year or two.

Your feedback indicates that you were not home at the time of the service and you do not own the home where the service was provided. We spoke to the actual member after the service and cleared up the confusion on the follow up service not being included in the service that was purchased (which is why the service is discounted so heavily). We did offer to come back out to the member's home to monitor the stations and monitoring devices at no charge and the member appreciated the offer but never scheduled that service. Communication is always a vital part of any working relationship. When adding in a third party, communication can become more difficult, unless the third person is added via email. Our communication with the client can always be improved. Please let us know how we can help in the future with your pest control needs.

Heat treatment is not inexpensive but they were actually reasonably priced and extremely thorough. They were also very professional and compassionate during what was a pretty traumatic experience.

The serviceman, Brandon, was terrific. He was held up on another job and had the office call to let me know he would be a little late. He arrived, was polite, and went right to work - - explaining what he would be doing inside and outside. I felt he did a great job and am very pleased I went with Noosa Pest Management. The initial quarterly pest control service was great. The technician was very friendly and professional. He explained everything to me before applying the treatment and made sure that I wanted it inside as well as outside. About a week later, I started having trouble with ants. Another technician, who I believe was a manager or owner, returned and did a very thorough treatment specifically for ants. He was extremely nice and went above and beyond to ensure the ant problem would be solved. He also assured me that if it didn't improve within a week that he would return and literally search outside for as long as it took to find the ant nest and remove it. Luckily, he didn't have to do that because the treatment worked. Since then I haven't had any trouble with ants. And other than a couple of small spiders here and there, our overall pest control has been great.

They were wonderful. Not only was the service scheduling process with Julie easy and pleasant, but Noosa was responsive, as well as informative and accurate with respect to their services and costs. The gentleman (Kyle) who was here to handle the first treatment and the comprehensive home and termite inspection was very knowledgeable and highly customer service oriented, patiently answered all my questions, and was a real pleasure to work with. Without hesitation, I signed up for their quarterly service. I highly recommend these folks.

Appointment went very well. Outside area was checked for holes. Inside areas were checked where I found droppings and also baby mice. Attic was checked where burrows in the insulation were found. Traps were put in attic and one in outside utility room, thought to be the only place they could be getting in.
Description of Work: Checked where mice could be coming into house. Placed several traps in attic where droppings from mice were. Put mesh screen in hole under water heater where they are possibly getting in from outside utility room.

The service was ok. They found what the problem was but they were not able to fix it for the money we paid. They did not seal the entry which was through our crawl space door and they said they were going to charge $500 to fix it. They went into our crawl space and located where they were getting. They left some mouse pesticide. We ended up fixing it ourselves.

Member- Thank you for your feedback. Noosa Pest Management was running a "Big Deal" special promotion on Angie's List back in 2012 when you received this service. This service was specifically designed to treat for rodents (mice/rats). The special clearly stated that Noosa Pest would handle any exclusion to aid in the protection against rodent entry as long as the exclusion work was minor. The Noosa Pest technician removed two dead squirrels from your attic which was not to be included in the service. The Big Deal specials were priced at $159. The scope of work included in the service ranged from the inspection, to the exclusion, to the baiting for mice but spending a half day constructing a brand new crawlspace door and installing it and obtaining the supplies for this repair were not included (as stated in the original ad). At Noosa Pest, we strive to treat others as we ourselves wish to be treated. We apologize that we fell short of your expectations in service and would have hoped to hear from you sooner than we have (3 years later). Please let us know if there is anything we can do to further assist in your needs as they relate to pest control. Thank you!

We had noticed some ants getting into the kitchen area looking for a late night snack. We have a pest contract with Noosa so we called and reported the problem. They had a technician come out the next day and treat the interior kitchen area. In addition they inspected and treated around the outside area as well to make sure our issue was resolved. Noosa even followed up a week later to verify the problem was resolved. Great customer service and I always feel they are willing to put forth the extra effort to make sure I am satisfied.

For pest control I found a service provider called Noosa. I would like other Angie's List members to know that they were courteous and knowledgeable. Everybody I called, they are all priced the same, there is no real big difference.
Description of Work: They came about a week ago for a basic pest control. He sprayed the areas we requested and did the complete outside.

Not unlike any of the times over the past 7+ years Noosa's technician arrived at the scheduled time, checked in with us prior to starting the service and checked out when complete. After being unsuccessful and disappointed at 2 other pest control companies, Noosa finally got my ants under control. I went from seeing 20-30 ants a day to ZERO within a week!! From the moment they arrived, the Noosa guy was able to identify the type of ants I had, and explained all the measures they were going to use to finally rid me of them. The language he used wasn't above my head, I understood everything completely, and felt safe about any pesticides coming into my home. I could tell he had a wealth of knowledge in the bug world. They performed an inspection in my crawlspace, all around the outside, throughout the inside, and even used his ladder to get I to my attic to look for anything there. The Noosa technician then showed me any of the "possible points of entry" for ants or other pests around my home. I couldn't believe I was that exposed!! I definitely feel my money was well spent on this service. I was very comfortable having the Noosa guy in and around my home.

I would not hesitate to recommend Noosa. They have the utmost professionalism and expertise in wildlife removal. I was able to speak with Fred the owner several times and we were quickly able to work out an agreement that was beneficial for both sides. I thought the price was really fair for me. In speaking and dealing with Fred, I would just like to say that he is the type of owner/business person that you root for.
Description of Work: They removed a possum from my back yard. They were thoughtful enough to leave another cage behind to catch the spouse the next day. They did the job and they did it quick and easily.

Everything went ok. I initially bought the rodent exclusion package from groupon. It turned out that I had bats, so I had to have them come back for a much larger amount ~450. They did apply the rodent exclusion package cost to the bat exclusion host, but it was pricey. The bats are now gone, so problem solved.

They brought in large heaters to take temperature in house to 135+ degrees for a minimum of 6 hours. Bed bugs and eggs were killed and there was a follow up treatment and inspection. The cost of treatment and service was in line with other pest control companies and I chose Noosa from hearing ads on a Christian radio station. Our big complaint was damage to the house which they disclosed may happen and make you sign off on agreement prior to any work. The agreement frees them from any liability due to heating the house and/or damaging walls from moving large heaters around. My big complaint was that we were not told specifically to remove our mini blinds. We have good quality faux wood blinds that the original salesman who came to the house to bid the work said were fine and would not be damaged by the heat. Most of the blinds came through fine except where the blinds were pulled up all the way to let in air during the heating process. The weight of the blinds being pulled up along with the high heat caused them to warp terribly and two large blinds needed replaced in our great room. I asked the owner of the company to help with the costs of their replacement but he would not help or credit our bill in anyway stating we signed off on any damages prior to the work. When I told him that his salesperson said the blinds would do fine through the heating process he basically just blew it off and went back to his contract fine print. He offered nothing and said not his problem and could basically care less about keeping us as a long term customer. My take is that we were not given the correct information prior to treatment and were lead to believe the blinds were fine.I would not recommend this company to any friend or neighbor due to their attitude and unwillingness to make a customer happy on a very costly treatment that disrupts your life terribly.

I am the owner and spoke to the member about the damage to the blinds. The service agreement is paramount when utilizing our heat remediation process to manage bed bug issues. This level of heat affects different materials in many different ways. The blinds that were damaged and any damage caused to the structure or its contents are not the responsibility of Noosa Pest, as clearly stated in the Service Agreement that was authorized and initialed by the member. There are many different reasons for this clause in our service agreement. Noosa Pest performs these types of services for homeowners, landlords and tenants. Noosa Pest certainly does not intend to damage any structure or its contents. I did not blow off the member when we discussed the damage. I simply referred back to the service agreement and discussed how we could have explained the damage responsibility section any clearer and the member did not offer any feedback concerning that question. Noosa Pest strives to serve our clients in the most timely and professional manner possible. Our personal best is what we expect and to treat others as we ourselves wish to be treated.

Pretty well. On time, worked hard, very deligent. Had to ask s few times for the receipt... Also felt it was a bit pricey but had nothing to compare them to. Nice company though and job well done!!

Overhead costs (insurance, taxes, vehicle maintenance, etc.) continue to rise. Noosa Pest does pass along a small percentage of these increases to the client or we would be unable to stay in business. The type of individuals that we hire, train and promote at Noosa Pest are top quality/high caliber personalities. These types of team members/employees are also more expensive. Therefore our pricing may be higher than some of the competition but we feel our clients are more comfortable with and expect this type of mentality. David was wonderful.! He was very knowledgeable and thorough. I had tons of questions and he answered every single one. He was very accommodating to our dog who tried to be very helpful. David had one spot that he couldn't fully seal off due to a cable problem. He packed it as well as he could and told me that if we could get that cable moved that he would stop back by to finish sealing off the entry point. David put down the mouse bait to get any more that tried to gain entry and told me what to do in the house. David also advised on what we could do to prevent further entry around our AC unit that hadn't been sealed to the house correctly. We will definitely use Noosa again and would recommend them to anyone.

The owner of the company, Fred, called me to apologize for their mistakes in billing. He took a charge off my bill for a service that the company should not have charged me for. Additionally, he is providing the next service free of charge. That is the type of old-fashioned owner involvement that I wish every company would emulate. I appreciate the fact that the owner, personally, wants to make things right with the customer. I will use this company and recommend them in the future.

We had a Pest Management Professional in the area and he serviced the exterior of your home, as we do for most of our clients that have the maintenance program with us.
