Carlo is the first person you'll meet when visiting their showroom, and he is absolutely wonderful. From beginning to end, he was quite the professional and always put our mind at ease whenever we had concerns. Very knowledgeable. Once we decided on the wood coloring, they were scheduled to perform the work within a month. The flooring was delivered on-time around 5 days before the work began. Matheus (project manager) did the initial pre-walk through with my husband, and he was able to answer any and all questions. The walk thru was originally scheduled for a Wednesday, but they couldn't make it and had to re-schedule for Friday. Re-measured the entire house to make sure enough supplies were ordered. Small hiccup on day 1 of installation with having the proper license to work in Fort Mill. They were licensed to perform work in South Carolina, but the Town of Fort Mill requires a separate license. Matheus went to the Town of Fort Mill the same day and got everything straightened out, so anyone needing work in Fort Mill should be good to go. We were concerned the delay would cause a problem on getting the work completed in the 2 day time frame, but everything was completed on-time. Once the project was completed, we had our final walk thru the next day. Small details here and there were pointed out, and we did end up having to follow up when those issues would be corrected. They were back the following week and everything was fixed. Communication between the project manager, main office and the installers could have been a little better, but overall we were very pleased with the work. The floors are absolutely beautiful, and we have already recommended them to another set of friends.

We called to get a quote on our Master Bedroom and one spare bedroom. We received a quote immediately (before he even left the house) and he actually provided us TWO quotes since we wanted to know the cost of just the Master Bedroom. We already have hardwood floors throughout the house and needed the bedroom to match the existing floors. Once we agreed to the service, the wood was dropped off and left for the required 4 days. We were initially told it would take 4 full days to complete, beginning on Monday and finishing on Thursday. On Monday morning, two workers had the wood installed before noon. The sanding was completed the same day (which SHOULD have been the following day). On Tuesday, the staining was done along with the first coat of Poly (which SHOULD have been Wednesday). On Wednesday, the final coat of Poly was done and that was it. They were done Wednesday afternoon. I really expected it to be completely messy and for my house to have been taken over, but it wasn't like that at all. My husband works from home and wasn't interrupted. They somehow managed to keep it extremely clean. As for the matching, I was initially told that because we were matching someone else's work, it was not going to be a perfect match, but they apparently exceeded their own expectations because it was pretty much a perfect match. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future when we install hardwood in the other bedrooms or refinish our floors.

United Flooring did an excellent job. Carlos and Matheos are extremely knowledgeable and helped me through the maze of flooring to determine what flooring would be best suited for me, taking into consideration my taste in hardwood. There was a problem with the hardwood that was ordered from another country and they immediately stopped installing it, explaining to me that the quality of the boards was not up to their standards of flooring. Carlos suggested another flooring which he ordered immediately and which was installed within a short amount of time. Carlos and Matheos could not have been more responsive at all times. The quality of their work is superb. I could not be happier with United Flooring and would recommend them to everyone. It is a 5-star operation.

To be completed honest I looked at all the so-called discount stores before I found out about United Flooring Group. Since the beginning I felt so much more comfortable with United Flooring than all the other places I been to, their flooring selection was a lot better and their products had a much higher quality. I was very impressed with the fact all the hardwood and carpet flooring are made right here in the USA. While the floors were been installed I came by a few times to check on the process and was happily surprised by the attention to detail the installer had, right there I knew the floor would turn out wonderful! I just pulled out the refrigerator and cleaned behind it and the floor was perfect in all areas. I would not consider any other floor company for service and installation. The entire team kept me informed of progress and their manager came over a few times just to make sure it was "just right". They have been in business for a very long time and now I know why, what a wonderful experience!!! I needed to share this, thank you United Flooring Group.

United Flooring Group installed carpet and hardwood in our new home...we love the results! from beginning to end, the entire process went extremely smooth. From the sales associate to the installation crew they were all wonderful to work with. The crew showed up on time, worked fast and left everything clean! The procedure from start to finish exceeded my expectation. Carlo came to my home and made spot on suggestions for my new flooring. The team worked quickly and professionally. I'm very happy with the end result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use them again.

From beginning to end they were great. My refrigerator leaked in my kitchen and I had to have all the floors and the cabinet next to the fridge replaced. My floors could not be matched up so a patch job was out of the question. I spoke to 3 different companies about this job. United Flooring was the best at returning my calls, setting and keeping the appointment to come and give me an estimate and actually coming through promptly with an estimate. Another company came out to look at the job and never sent me an estimate! Weird! United Flooring had the best product in the price range I had to work with. Very affordable considering all wood that had to be replaced. Carlos came out to my house a couple of times after that with samples and I got to keep them for a really good amount of time to see which floor stain I liked the best. They had an excellent selection to choose from. More than you could even think wood floor styles came in! Because the cabinet people were so slow in getting my replacement cabinet ordered and installed United Flooring was patient with my schedule. I wanted the cabinet installed before the floors were done. Carlos told me it would take 3 days to do the entire job. I didn't think they could do it in that amount of time. They ended up completing in one day. From start to finish! And it is amazing! They added a thicker piece of trim than what was there before and it is beautiful as well. Really adds a richness to the entire look. The inspection after was done within the week as well and they were able to quickly repair a few minor issues. I am always wary when I have to have anything repaired or replaced in my home because I worry what the end result will be and if it will meet my expectations. United Flooring exceeded anything I had hoped for. They were professional, prompt, affordable and did excellent work from all levels. I highly recommend them! We had United Flooring Group, INC install hard wood floors in our home and they were great. We had a little problem with the foundation--there was a crack--and they repaired that right away. We already had the same wood flooring (previous installed by UFG) in our hallway and they extended that into our living room and bedroom. The blending is perfect. You would never guess that the hallway and the rest were done at different dates. On top of that, they cleaned up after themselves. The prices were reasonable and we will absolutely keep using them.

We called United Flooring Group after researching a couple of companies on Angie's List that could refinish our hardwood floors. A salesmane named Carlo came to our home to provide a quote. He was very polite and professional. After receiving the quote for what we deemed was a reasonable price for the scope of work, my husband and I decided to move forward with United Flooring Group. Upon signing a contract and paying a 50% deposit, we scheduled for a stain sample to be done. We chose several stain samples to be applied to our floor and took some time to live with them before deciding on a color. After selecting our stain color Nicole helped us schedule a date and time for the floors to be refinished. The refinishing process took two days. On the first day a crew of two men prepped, sanded and stained the floors, one coat of sealant was applied. The crew of two came back on the second day to apply another coat of sealant. Both of the crew members were polite, professional and hardworking. They left our home neat and tidy each day. We were extremely happy with the finished product and paid the balance due. The floors look wonderful and they are now protected for the long term. I would absolutely use United Flooring Group again in the future.

Great job! We have worked with United Flooring Group numerous times over the past several years. They have replaced our Kitchen flooring, backsplash and master bath tile. This last time they replaced the carpet in our entire house with beautiful hardwood Floors . They have always been helpful, reasonably priced and get the job done in a timely manner. We have always been pleased with the results! Would highly recommend United Flooring if you're looking for a new carpet, tile or hardwood flooring!

Excellent job! I highly recommend United Flooring Group and their teams of installers. I had hardwood floors extended down the hallway from the entrance. The installers, were courteous, neat, cleaned up after themselves each day, and did a beautiful job. They were craftsman determined to make the project look it's best. They arrived on time and discussed concerns in advance as well as the solution options. They made it possible for me to live and work from home while doing the installation. I also had a Alterna Floor (Engineered Stone) installed in a sunroom over a concrete subfloor. The end result is fabulous and all the same comments from above apply.The sales/office staff was knowledgeable and stayed in contact with me throughout the entire project so I always knew what to expect.

I've used United Flooring Group for several projects. They have done everything they were supposed to do for me. They always get started on time and finish in a timely manner. They clean up afterwards, so I never have to fight them to do that at the end either, which is nice. The workers are friendly and hard-working. Also, I think their prices are right. I'd recommend their services because I have had really good experiences and I will keep using them on all my rental properties.?

We had a very bad experience with United Flooring. We are expecting a baby and wanted to take out all the carpets and have good quality installation of engineered floor. United Flooring install crew performed very sloppy work, did damage to our property and left a complete mess (we are still trying to clean-up all the saw dust they left). We had to micro-manage everything and point out all the mistakes that the install crew made. The main thing that put us 'over the edge' with this company is that they put a transition between bathroom and the baby room and didn't ensure the door can close and didn't bother to tell us about this either. When we tried to close the door, the door pushed into the transition and split the door frame. When we called United Flooring, they basically said they don't do the doors (they don't check if the floor is installed correctly?!) and that they would check with the manager on what they can do. Then we got an e-mail with an attachment from United Flooring that they would cut the door so it closes, but that we would have to sign the non-disparagement agreement, and I quote from the agreement: "agree not to attack/criticize United Flooring Group, Inc. and any of its employees, associates, or partners publicly (on public forums, blogs, social networks, etc.)". You decide if you would want to work with such a company. Few other examples of issues that we had: -install crew drilled the nails in the floor and left the wood exposed. Had to point this out to them, they said they would put putty in all the holes, but left bunch of holes still exposed so I ended up fixing this -they ran out of material which caused work not to be completed as they said originally. Even the paint crew had to come back since the floor crew didn't finish on time. -the crew damaged the new floor when they were installing it. Had to point this out to their crew chief. They replaced the board by gluing the new board in place, however that board now visibly sticks out and is not lined up with other boards -the crew left gaps in the floor -the crew damaged the wall and door frame There are so many other better companies, please consider going with any of them and avoid United Flooring unless you like paying for having issues.

We had three providers from Angies List come and look at our floors. They are beautiful oak floors that are 25 years old and had never been refinished. We received bids that were pretty close in cost but United Flooring was actually the lowest bid which we usually don't always use. However, the reason we went with them was because we have some very large spaces in our hardwoods and the other two providers said they could fill these spaces before the staining and finish coats making the floors nice and smooth. When Carlo came out to look at our home, he said if we did fill those areas, they would most likely pop out within six months because wood breathes and moves with the temperature and the cracks were so large. He was also way more detailed in his description of their work. We appreciated his honest input about the cracks instead of trying to make it look great and leaving a terrible problem down the road. After my initial meeting with Carlo, I went back into Angies list and reread the reviews. There were several who were not all that positive, but we still felt Carlo was more honest, and more knowledgeable than the other two companies. We went through the process of signing their contract and setting up the work. They started on time and also finished on time. After the work was finished, Matheus came by to have the walk through. We showed him some areas that didn't turn out as we had expected. They are very interested in the quality of their work and agreed that there were some items that needed to be fixed. They sent out the men who handled each item and had them all repaired. The floors are beautiful! Actually, we were originally going to have the water based poly for the finish coats but after the stain was on, Carlo stopped by to check on what was happening. He recommended we go with the oil based poly instead because of the large cracks. He said sometimes the poly could end up thicker in the cracks and the water based could dry a little white. We so appreciate their knowledgeable input and the finished product reveals just that. We have had so many compliments on how good they turned out. We would use this company again and again for our flooring needs. They were very professional, honest, and great to work with!

They were very courteous and promptly returned our call for an estimate. They made an appointment within a week and gave us an estimate as well as recommendations what would work best to match with our existing kitchen cabinets. They put down tar paper first to reduce moisture and squeaking between the two wood surfaces - this was lacking in other estimates that we were provided. I have installed our own hardwoods but this project did not provide the luxury of time to do it myself. We would use their services again and recommend to our friends and neighbors.

The sales rep and the install team did a great job. The sales rep brought samples of both solid hardwood and engineered hardwood to the house and discussed the pros and cons of each. (I decided on the solid hardwood since it can be refinished if someday it needs it.) The install team arrived on time and they worked steadily throughout the day. They moved the big pieces of furniture out of the way and then put them back when the floors were finished. I especially liked that they helped me put felt pads on all the big pieces of furniture. As promised, the work was completed in one day.

I contacted United Flooring for an estimate and Carlo responded within 24 hours. He was punctual for the appointment and answered all our questions and concerns about the replacement of carpet with hardwood. He provided an estimate that day. Throughout our decision making process, Carlo remained in touch and answered all our questions. One of the main reasons we went with United Flooring was the responsiveness of all United Flooring employees to our calls and emails. The receptionist was phenomenal in keeping us updated and was always congenial and helpful. The guys who did the actual installation were punctual, efficient, and respectful of our home/property. All work was completed within one day. United Flooring has our full endorsement, and we would hire them again without question.

We used Carlo about 8 years ago and had a fantastic experience. We are in the process of selling our home and needed the upstairs floors done. These floors were in very tough shape, not having been finished in all the years we have lived in this home (they have always been covered with carpet). Carlo answered the phone immediately when I called and came out the next day to give us an estimate. We scheduled the work and are absolutely DELIGHTED with the results. Even the worst areas of the floor look terrific. I would recommend United Flooring Group without reservation. The crew was on time, polite and worked very hard, especially on our stairs until they were satisfied with the results. You won't go wrong with United Flooring Group!

I had to work with them to get the job completed quickly. Otherwise the work was good. No complaints.

United Flooring Group installed 5" Prime Harvest Hardwood floors throughout my master bedroom and Karndean Luxury Vinyl Planks throughout the second level (Yoga room) of my home...replacing carpet. United Flooring Crew did an outstanding job!!!- Carlo (sales rep) originally got my business not by being the lowest price (although not significantly higher) but by his willingness to answer any questions and follow through on all my concerns. Throughout the project, he did a great job of communicating and keeping me updated on his progress. Partway through the job, we had an unwelcome structural issue with the Karndean flooring that was installed in the second level. Carlo went above and beyond in trying to find a solution to the problem. They comeback two weeks afterwords and replaced that entire room with the same hardwood as the master bedroom. The floors look great - Carlo takes a great deal of pride in what he does and really wants the client to be happy with the final product. He is honest and can be trusted to take good care of your home. I wouldn't hesitate to use him and United Flooring Group again and can highly recommend their work!

Nick came out to give estimate and was very pleasant but, then informed me that there was no way for them to trim my bedroom carpet to transition to the hardwood. He said that I would have hire a separate contractor to do about $20 worth of work. What contractor would come to do $20 worth of work. I can't quite figure out why a flooring guy can't figure out how to trim a piece of carpet.

Would not hire them again. While their team was polite and responsive, the overall experience and quality was bad. We paid to have the Bona commercial traffic finish installed, which the salesperson assured me would resist damage from normal traffic of a family of five and a dog. The floor is significantly scratched after one month despite taking great care of it (pads on all furniture, not wearing shoes, dog nails clipped weekly). I understand wood floors are not scratch resistant and will show damage over time. However, our previous finish never showed the damage we have now from one dog walking on it. We also have friends who used Bona traffic and have dogs and do not have the damage we do. The installation team created two significant dents in our floors which ultimately were not repaired properly. Their attempts to repair the dents and match the finish added another week to the job. The workmanship was very sloppy. Dents made in the drywall, stain spilled on fixtures and walls, and the house was never cleaned properly (nails, trash and heavy dirt/debris left all over work site). The contractors they used for painting commented United must have had a "bad crew" do the work because they had not seen a job that sloppy. To be fair, United was responsive in responding to punch list issues and gave us a 1.5% credit for cleaning. Overall I feel I was misled in terms of the durability expectations of the finish or the proper finish was not applied.

United Flooring replaced 1500 square feet of carpeting with oak flooring. The floor came out very well; we are pleased with the result. The project took 5 days. The residual odor was muted because we used water based finish at Carlo?s recommendation. Carlo estimated the job and did the final walk-through. His introduction to the process and our options for laying the floor were detailed and clearly explained. On the walk-though, he found an issue for correction (part of his standard for a quality job) that we had not seen. The job was not without some frustration. On the first day the crew arrived 4 hours late and we were not informed about the delay. Completion of the punch list items took longer, and required more reminders, that it should have. Overall, the objective of the project turned out to our complete satisfaction, even delight. I might assign an A-minus because of the glitches, but the work itself gets an enthusiastic A.
