Description of Work: They installed luxury vinyl flooring on the first floor. Our project manager had a personal emergency, so he wasn't on the project and we weren't prepared for what was going to occur. They had to sand all the cement and it made quite a mess.

Description of Work: Charlotte Flooring is now United Flooring. Carlo and his staff are very professional. I would not hesitate to use them for every service they provide.

Description of Work: The project was not completed on time and not to our satisfaction. It was difficult to get mistakes fixed. The sales person and office staff were professional. The crew that came to do the work were unreliable, did not show up on the days expected and did not finish on time. The finished product looks ok but it is not the quality that was promised. I have given up trying to fix the floors with this company.

Description of Work: United Flooring did a wonderful job retiling our bathroom. The tore up the old floor and laid new tile and grout. They were very neat and thorough. The job was very well done.

Description of Work: After setting up an appointment, I was called on the day of the appointment and told they could not do an estimate on a job for less than 300 sq. ft.I did not see this stipulation anywhere on their website and let them know how disappointed I was. This needs to be clearly stated on their website. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Description of Work: In May, representative came to the house and gave me an estimate for what he termed in writing to be a "2 DAY Process". At that time we discussed how I would avoid walking on the floor area and how I could opt for a water finish so that there would be no need to leave the house. Today a contract came which turned this into a 4 day process and which required that I go to a hotel during the 4 day process. When I objected, I was told this was one of their insurance requirements. This obviously will not work for me.

Description of Work: United Flooring Group did the hardwood floors in one bedroom. He did the estimate and booked the date to give the estimate.

Description of Work: Carlo first came and measured the floor's sq ft to be refinished. We talked about options and two contracts were emailed to me. I selected the more expensive option to have the floors sanded, restained, and polyurethaned. I was told a window of time when the crew would first arrive, but they were a bit later but they did call when they were on the way. The crew went right to work and sanded a portion of the floor and put down the two stain colors so I could select the one I wanted. After that I left my house for 4 days since all of my downstairs except the kitchen have wood floors. I had a spot at the back door that had water damage that I had asked them to replace the boards for an extra cost. They found that the wood planks in that room were only 1/4" thick so they bought a saw to make the planks the right width at no extra cost and I cannot tell which are the replacement wooden pieces. Throughout the process Carlo called to keep me up to date with how everything was going. It took an extra day for the stain to totally dry, but that was okay. I am happy with the result. I told Carlo of some concerns and he dealt with them immediately.
