The guys showed up "on time" at 7:50 am and pulled the damaged floor up and moved my large items for me and laid the floors down with enthusiasm and were done by lunch time! The floors look amazing! The customer service was great and Josh called to follow up with the service provided.

These guys were great. Very responsive to questions about process and installation. Quoted a price and prepared contract. Started installation right on time and finished on time. Floors look great. They are able to match perfectly. Very easy to deal with and very professional.

The experience with Charlotte Flooring and Design was wonderful from start to finish. They responded quickly to our request for an estimate and Josh came to the house to measure and evaluate within one day of our call to them. We had gathered three estimates and we went with Charlotte Flooring and Design because they were competitive and knowledgable. Since we had to be out of the house for three days in order for the work to be done, we scheduled it during our vacation. When we returned home we were greeted with beautiful refinished floors! There were a few areas that required them to come back and fix, and they came immediately and did a great job on those areas! Carlo Garcia, the owner, is easy to work with; he has a great way about him and he is very professional. When the work was complete, he came to the house to look at everything and to make sure I was happy! In addition to the great job they did on our wood floors, the company also tiled a sunroom that had nasty wall to wall carpeting in it. The tile crew was different from the crew who did the wood floors and I was equally impressed with these gentlemen. They came on a Wednesday...removed all the carpeting, and proceeding to install the subfloor, thin set and tile in one day! They returned Thursday morning to install the grout and were finished in 2-1/2 hours. The transformation in the room was incredible! They did a wonderful job laying the tile...impeccable, really! The experience we had with Charlotte Flooring and Design was all around great. The minor concerns about the missed areas with the wood floors were corrected immediately and without hassle, which to me, is a sign of company that truly values their work and their customers. I do not hesitate to recommend this company for flooring needs and we plan to use them again in the future!

I called this company after reading the reports on Angie's List. Josh came out and gave me a quote. I scheduled the work to be done while my family and I would be at the beach. A moving company moved the furniture off the hardwoods and into our garage. Charlotte Flooring came in and completed the work in time for us to be able to walk safely on the floors at the end of our beach week. I was nervous about the amount of dust, but have been pleasantly surprised at the small amount. The floors look wonderful! Even better than I expected. There were a couple of small details that needed attention, and they took care of those in a timely manner. I would highly recommend using Charlotte Flooring and Design.

Charlotte Flooring and Design did an excellent job. Their estimator was polite, on time, and very knowledgeable. I already had hardwood in other areas of the house, and they did a fine job of matching the existing floor. The installers arrived on time, and cleaned up after themselves, leaving no messes in my house. They respected my walls, and did not damage them or my doors. They removed the old carpet and padding. The job took several days. The floors look beautiful, and there are no squeaks or flaws. I thought their pricing was very reasonable. I had forgotten how strong the fumes were from the polyurethane, so I did have to move out of my house for a few days while the fumes subsided, but that was not the fault of the flooring company. I would highly recommend them and would certainly use them again. They are true craftsmen.

Overall we had a good experience with this company. We had existing hardwood floors refinished and added new hardwood to complete the first floor. It was all sanded and stained to match. Josh was easy to work with and very responsive. They provided an end-to-end solution – laying the wood, sanding and staining. They also provided the most competitive quote. They worked around our schedule and provided quality work. I would consider them again for other flooring projects.

Josh came out and was very professional and responsive to our needs. We decided to go with another company who had a lower price. Josh did mention they would match any quote but I always feel it is better to give your most competitive price upfront. I would recommend them.

The job went very well, I highly recommend them. They were very good, on time, and did what they said they would. We had a little problem, they addressed it and took care of it right away. I thought they were very professional. Overall they were very good. Their price was a little bit higher than some of the people I talked to.

The price was reasonable and they did a great job. The workers were good. Carla was excellent to work with. Monica, the receptionist, was very easy to work with. The company was very easy to work with and they worked with my schedule. They laid the wood down first and then they had to wait for the kitchen to be put in to come back and finish it. It took about a month for them to be able to come back and they were very accommodating. I would recommend them.

I went into their shop on a whim because I was going to the coffee shop next door. I had been shopping for flooring for 4 years, and remembered their name from Angie's list. Monica was the person in the shop and she was very sweet and helpful. I took home a few samples, the guy came out to measure the next day and that was it! I finally had a floor picked out and the installation was set up for two weeks later, because a holiday was in there. I was very happy that they could work around our baby grand piano. Other companies said I needed to get a mover in and take the piano out and have it put back after the floor was in. That was going to cost me and extra $600 that I didn't want to spend. The workmen were nice, did a great job and were fast. They even moved a heavier piece of furniture for us. It was supposed to be a possible two day job, but was in fact one day. They were careful with the piano and cleaned up well. I am pleased with the job and my flooring.

I am totally thrilled with my new floor and their service. They began the installation exactly when they promised, the price was exactly as promised, and the quality is outstanding! It took just under five days to complete the entire installation, which included their clean-up and moving of furniture. I found them at the Spring Home Show and had many discussion with Carlo over six months while I made my decision. He was very patient and courteous. Daniel and the other workmen worked extremely hard to get it done on time, coming early and staying very late. Carlo worked with me to find an affordable stone, and the result is just gorgeous. Also, for the first time since I've lived in the house, my feet are toasty warm. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I spent over three months shopping for a vendor to install both wood and tile/stone for my (large) living room, entry & closet, wet bar and dining room. Most vendors handle either one or the other. I received several bids for this work using various materials including laminate, wood, slate and linoleum. I even checked prices for installation of separately purchased materials. Charlotte Flooring & Design had the best overall price by far, beating the next best by 20%. In addition to the excellent price, their installation went very quickly; one day for the wood, one (long) day for the slate. They were on time, courteous and hard working. Their service included moving my furniture, some quite heavy, as needed to make room for the installation. They were detail oriented and did a very good job in tight spaces (closet, wet bar) making sure all the edges, corners and joins were correctly done. I am extremely pleased with the final result and expect to talk to them on my next flooring project.

They did a great job. They were extremely diligent and they knew the stuff, as they knew what to do and they were fast. They had quality work.

We chose Charlotte Flooring & Design to install hardwood over concrete and wood. Customer Service was friendly and attentive --- always available to answer any questions. Becuase of the wood we chose and the type of surface availbale they advised us to "float" the hardwood over "quiet walk". The job was performed carefully and efficiently. All was completed on schedule. We are extremely pleased w/ the results and look forward to working w/ them again when we are ready to remodel any other rooms in our house.
