Everyone at MyNewFloor.com was a pleasure to deal with. We explained to Carlo that we were moving into a large home that would need new floors throughout most of it. We also wanted to make sure we finished most of our critical flooring projects before moving all our furniture into the house. Carlo met us at their new show room and did a thorough job explaining the different products available, then gave solid recommendations based on our family and lifestyle. He put together a competitive quote, a schedule that would fit within our window, and we selected them to do the work. Carlo and Evelyn were very accommodating in settling on a good faith deposit that recognized the fact that, until the deed is transferred, the deal isn't done! They were also extremely patient while we moved the funds to pay the bill -- we'd suffered a fraudulent charge earlier in that week on the very day the wire from our closing came through, necessitating a mad scramble to cancel that card number. Evelyn completely understood our situation, allowing us to go through the necessary motions without any undue pressure. The crew that did the installation were diligent, hard working, and polite. The end result is absolutely beautiful! We have more flooring work to do after our next stage of remodeling. MyNewFloor.com will be the first (and probably only) people we call.

We used MyNewFloor.com to install flooring in all three levels of our house. This required them to remove carpet in 2 of the 3 floors and remove existing hardwoods on 1 level. Additionally, they sanded and refinished the existing stairs and hand rails. While this was such a large project, with so many moving pieces, Carlo and his team did an amazing job with the coordination, installation and refinishing. The final project turned out great! It is also worth noting that I received quotes from several other flooring companies before deciding upon MyNewFloor, and their price was highly competitive, with their estimate being the most thorough and inclusive. Bottom line, I would highly recommend this company!

It went amazing. They came in and finished in one day. Very professional, punctual and easy to work with. The floors are awesome and we love it. I have never heard of Rigid Core or Alterna but I’m glad I made the decision to get it. This company gets a A+ from me. They always called and texted to see how we were doing and if we were ok.

The flooring installed over two years ago had developed a few separations at some plank ends. I talked to Carlos and he arranged for Armstrong ( the manufacturer) to check the floor for defects. Their tech inspected the floor and found no material defect, at which point Carlos sent a technician to repair the floor. I had originally offered to pay for the repair since the floor was well over two years old and past the “My Floor” warranty, but they declined charging anything. It’s refreshing to deal with a contractor that is dependable and proud of his work. I highly recommend these people for anyone considering a flooring project..

What an amazing experience. My New Floor has provided excellent service for me. Carlo was on time to my house and he has a great knowledge of the products and he gave me a lot of great recommendations. Price is fair and they have great products quality and clean. I highly recommend.

The refinishing job went well. The team at My new Floor were punctual and well informed. All work was done as promised and cleaned up afterwards.

Came by for estimate/measurement on 4/27/2018, that went fine, he showed samples and we picked out the flooring we liked. He stated he would get us an estimate that evening and would send it over. We are quick to get this done and he was told that upfront. Its been 3 1/2 days later and still no email and no phone calls.

They were punctual. The office called me a day before install began and then after the install to make sure we were satisfied. The installers were efficient. They cleaned after they were finished. Everything went off without a hitch.

I was so pleased with their services. Carlo and Evelyn were both very responsive to any questions I had. The laminate is great and the carpeting looks so nice. The installers were prompt and courteous.

Everything was great! I feel like I have a brand new home with the new floors installed.

We bought our home in the spring, and wanted to do some remodeling (including new floors) before move in. Carlo came in and measured, and sold us on one of his "high quality laminates". I was told my satisfaction was "guaranteed", and that this floor would look and sound just like real wood. The company also refinished our existing stairs and remodeled the balusters. On the day of installation, I was told that the estimate that they had provided did not include the sanding and refinishing of the stair treads, just the banister... this should have been my first clue that this was not going to be a great experience. 500$ was added on the day of installation due to this "mistake". No walk throughs were completed after the work, I ended up having to call and follow up repeatedly to get certain small issues fixed - like paint touch ups, etc. This in and of itself was an ordeal... I was told from the start that they would not be fixing any of the minor cosmetic issues that they created, but they did end up coming out to address them once I was in contact with Carlo personally, instead of the office staff. The day the floor went in, I expressed concern to the installers due to the noise. The floor sounded like cracking glass when walked on. I was assured that this was just the floor "settling" and I wouldn't notice it within a few days. Within the first month, the floor started to buckle. Entire portions of the floor would come up off the sub floor. The noise still persisted. I filled out a warranty and the company did come out to "fix" these issues. They fixed them by nailing the floors down in the spots they noticed them coming up. When I asked about the noise, I was again assured that this was normal and would subside. The problems with the floor continued to persist. Sections began to separate, and the floor still buckled and came loose. I filled out another warranty form with the company. They continued to come out and "fix" the issues.While the crew was in the home fixing the floors, their machinery damaged two boards of the floor - staining it and damaging the top. They attempted to "clean" it, but the stains continued to come back and could be seen a week later. When I brought up the noise issue again, I was still assured the noise was normal. The third time around, I had Carlo come back out to the house to investigate my claims himself. He did not "see" the damage on the floors - and while he admitted that the floor noise was not normal, he blamed it on moisture issues in my crawlspace. This home was inspected by a professional less than six months from the date of this review, and moisture readings were done on the crawlspace. Moisture was NOT an issue here. I was told that all my issues were not installation issues but were flooring issues, and they would be filing a warranty claim with the actual flooring manufacturer. My last communication I had with this company was an email stating that they had no more information regarding the manufacturer's warranty claim, and proceeded to give me the contact information so I could follow up myself. From start to finish, I had issues with this company. They did not hold up to their promises of "satisfaction guaranteed", they sold me an inferior product, they damaged my home, and then proceeded to wash their hands of the issue. I have since ripped up these floors and had them replaced, as there was no other way to make this situation right. These floors were a safety hazard, looked terrible, and literally devalued my beautiful home. There is no other way to put it. I do not enjoy writing negative reviews on Angie's list. But this was a big job (we spent over 8k with this company in total), and we are now out this money with no help from this company to make it right. By passing the buck to the manufacturer, all they did was to assure that if there was a defect, I would get to replace the floors with more of the same inferior product. Buyer beware here... if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I am also wary that this company goes by two different names -- My New Floor, and United Flooring Group. I had emails coming from both companies. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Quality work, prompt service and good follow up. Helped move furniture very well to the extent where it was not before to save my back. Courteous people both in office and in the field

I met Carlo last month at his United Flooring Group (MyNewFloor) showroom on South Blvd. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He later came to my new condo to show me a few more samples and to see the existing floors / carpet. Carlo never tried to upsell me. He showed me exactly what I wanted at a fair price. The price and quality were superior to all the box stores we checked. I also liked the fact that United is a local company. I purchased Armstrong Hickory, hand-scraped, engineered wood flooring. I had numerous questions throughout the process. The team at United Flooring answered all of my questions promptly--even after working hours. Delivery was a smooth and timely process. The demo / installation team was right on time yesterday morning. They kept me apprised of progress throughout the day and took good care of my home. The floors and molding look great. The installers definitely paid attention to detail and demonstrated a high level of skill. My realtor and my GC both came by to admire the hardwoods last night. I have no doubt that United Flooring will get work from both of them. We are all pleased with how beautiful the engineered hardwoods look. United Flooring Group did a great job from start to finish. I am grateful for the terrific team they assembled to sell, deliver, and install this 'transformational' flooring. For the first time, I can see the potential in my fixer-upper condo. It is starting to feel like home.

They were helpful in assisting me to pick out the right type of flooring, gave me a great price and the floor is beautiful. You won't be disappointed with their products, prices, and service.

We contracted with United Flooring to install wood flooring on our 1st floor and carpet in our 2nd floor. On or about 1/22/17 United Flooring installed carpeting on our 2nd floor. They put a large and deep gouge in the drywall, and promised to fix it. We would not provide them with our approval to charge us for the final payment of $1,800 on a total job cost of about $15,000, as we insisted they repair the damage. They went ahead and charged our card without our permission or signature. We have scheduled the repair with them and taken time off of work and they have not shown up. In addition they installed a defective plank in our downstairs that had a piece of veneer chipped off and the installer indicated he would fix it. He did not do the repair. The owner Carlos, claimed to need his "managers permission" on items but is the owner of the business. Lastly, a few days after the wood floor was installed, we had a water leaked that damaged 6 boards. His estimate was $600, which is ridiculously high. His contractor left dozens of cigarette butts in our front yard, clean their paint brushes on our concrete driveway and left sawdust and pieces of wood in our front yard. Overall we are very dissatisfied with the integrity and lack of quality of the work.

We have three hard wood floors we need to have sanded and refinished. The only problem I had with that is when I called, you know you get a voice mail prompt, this if you want sale, this, this, this, this. So I prompted in that I wanted to have someone come out and give me an estimate. Well I got another lady on the phone that did not speak very good English, wasn't familiar with computers, asked me like three times for my email address and then for me to spell it out to her, for my phone number, then said she was gonna confirm the time and the meeting. Then she sent me an email, then she texted me to see if I got the email immediately. It's like yeah, I got it. You don't need to keep checking with me four or five times that I got everything. And then when he came out the guy was a little snobby that came out and gave me the quotation. We have a little bit of difficulty with this, is that my front entrance come in, my dining room is immediately to the left, and if you go forward in my front entrance, I have my living room. So they are connected; the flooring is connected in there. And unfortunately, for me to get to my bedroom and the other side of my house where my bedroom is, our main bathroom is, my husband's office when he works at home, you have to go over these floors. So when we need to have them done, and I'm told you have to have three to four days before you can even walk on them, we would have to be going out our garage, coming around to the front of our house, coming in the front entrance where I have a marble floor, and going over that. We wouldn't be able to access it, plus we'd have to store our furniture somewhere. Well they gave me a quotation but apparently it was too much trouble for them to do one job because my family room is on the other side of the house, and that's wood as well. They gave me a quotation to do all three rooms at once, which I don't know how we would do because I'd be going in and out of my garage. We have two dogs. Three sections in our house would have to be blocked off. And they said well, we'd like to do all the jobs at one time. So if you decide to separate it and do the living room and dining room together and then the family room at another time, even if it was the next week, you know, when I could walk on the other floor, it's just gonna be more expensive. And I'm like okay, whatever. He gave me a quote and he was really professional, but he was a little snobby. I don't know if I'm gonna use them or not. I'm waiting for a couple other quotations. I hope to have everything by tomorrow so that we can go to the bank next week. They didn't charge me for the estimate but they certainly called and contacted me enough times to confirm it. I kid you not; four or five times. And if I didn't respond to an email immediately, then they texted me or called me to see if I got it. I'm not on my email constantly during the course of the day, probably at least just once a day. It's just tough dealing with somebody when you have a little bit of a language barrier and they don't understand. I didn't like it that if I was gonna do my things separately it was gonna cost another $700. For responsiveness, it was a little bit of overkill. They were very punctual.

They did an excellent job on both the hardwoods and carpet. We definitely would recommend them to our friends.

Have not had a response from them other than to get 3 estimates around Tuesday or Wednesday. We did not make the mess, why should we HAVE to do all this work for them to chose if they will pay for it?

I wasn't happy about their pricing. They were very professional, absolutely if you're talking about if they came on time and their professionalism, then yeah absolutely. The pricing was too high, that's a different story. They're very, very professional. I will absolutely consider using them in the future if they drop the price a little lower.

The quote details was simple and clear to understand and the price was very fair and inline with market prices. The work team showed up on time, were friendly and professional to interact with and left the property in a clean state.
