I have heard many stories of contractors leaving job sites without completing the work and leaving the house a complete mess, so I wanted to make sure I did not get into this trouble and hired the right company to do my floors. We had estimates from FIVE different companies, and we were able to see that United Flooring was the best one around. We had the bamboo and the cork already picked. However, Carlo helped us with our budget by finding a cheaper supplier that offered the same exact product other companies offered by an abusive price. Therefore, we went with the cheaper option. Along the entire job Carlo was extremely helpful, and he gave us amazing tips on what to do in some parts of the job. Along the entire process the entire company was very responsive to e-mails and phone calls, they answered every question we had prior to the job and after the job was completed. The work itself was performed in two days, we had no problem along the installation process. The house was always very clean and the guys very polite. Very happy with this job. Anyways, we are very happy with our beautiful floors, and the amazing service provided by United Flooring. I would highly recommend United Flooring for their low prices, product variety, and specially great customer service.

They did an amazing job, Carlo the estimator was right on time on our first consultation, he was very knowledgeable! The crew was very professional and detail oriented, Fabio the field supervisor was always sending us updates on the installation process, after the job was completed he did a walk throughout to make sure we were satisfied. The bottom line is United Flooring did an amazing job and we couldn't be any happier with the results! I would definitely recommend United Flooring Group.

Very satisfied with the work this company performed in my house. The flooring technician was very helpful and was able to answer all of my questions, unlike the other companies I had the estimate from. The work was commenced on the scheduled day and they finished on time. The work was very clean and I did not have any issue with the installation crew. Everyone in this company seemed to be very professional. Happy to have chosen United Flooring.

I had the insurance adjuster coming out to look at a leak going through the sub floor of my rental property. This leak led the floors and the sub floor to be ruined. After the insurance company paid for the claim, I picked three companies listed on Angies List to come out and give me estimates. United Flooring was by far the best and most professional one. The estimator Carlo was very attentive to every detail on my floors, and very helpful. The installation crew kept the house very clean during the entire job. They pulled up the entire floor up and installed it back with new wood. The sanding crew was always sharply on time and they finished the job as scheduled. I feel like the insurance money was very well used on this job, my floors look great.

They never showed up for the consultation. They did not call to cancel nor did they call to apologize. When I called them, the woman said she was sorry.

Very satisfied with the services provided by United Flooring. The sanding crew was always on schedule, and the new floors are beautiful. Everyone I spoke with from this company is very polite and helpful. I did not have any issues along the sanding process. They moved furniture around and everything was put back in the rooms as before. The area sanded was isolated from the rest of the house until the job was completed, and once they were gone everything was clean as promised. Had a great experience and will be referring this company to relatives and friends.

This is the third time I used this company for my flooring jobs. Again, their quality of services did not lie. The job was very clean and professional. The new floor looks beautiful, I am very excited and pleased. My furniture was carefully removed from the room during installation and then put back on when they were done. Carlo, the estimator was very detailed as the other times, and I had every question clarified during his estimate. This company is the most professional in the North Carolina area. It is my #1 choice when it comes to flooring improvement.

I had United flooring group did a very good job on my floors. The estimating was very complete and substantial for my flooring decision. Carlo, their flooring technician was very attentive to the details and gave me very good information. He gave me the most complete estimate of all companies I got estimates from. The refinishing part of the job was very clean and unique, my floors are looking brand new again. This company will be passing along to my friends who need some flooring improvements in their house. This company was great during the entire process. I needed to demo my kitchen tile and the sub floor so my general contractor could do some changes on my kitchen. United Flooring was cheaper than my general contractor so I had chosen to go with them. The estimator Carlo was very professional and polite. He was able to give me a lot of information about interior home improvement and gave me some constructive ideas to improve the looks of my floors. The crew that performed the demolition was very clean, and they performed a great job. Everything was covered in plastic and they were extra careful with everything around the house. I will use this company again for my flooring needs.

I am very pleasured with my experience with United Flooring Group. From estimating to installing, these guys were great. Their price was the lowest from all the companies I had picked. They did a very good job on the installation and the house was left as clean as when they had come in. I am very impressed with this company. I will definitely use them for my future flooring improvement, and I will be referring them around.

The company answered my call, scheduled Carlos to come out and give us an estimate of work, they scheduled the work and got it done as promised and we could not be happier.

Super. Carlo, the Charlotte owner, came to our condo several times with samples answering questions and discussing options. The days of install the crew arrived promptly and worked efficiently. With my permission, they stayed late both to complete a very large job within schedule. The result looks fantastic and I can't say enough things about Carlo and his team. The door transitions will be completed as soon as my preference of wood arrives. They came prepared, but the material wasn't close enough match. I would use them again and recommend them without reservation.

Our 30 years old hardwood floor was in need to be re-finished. We received 3 quotes and United Flooring was the lowest one. They scheduled us very quickly. They were efficient, on time, worked with us on the timing. Additionally, they replaced 7 boards that were beyond repair. It was not part of the original quote but they were very reasonable in making the repairs. Bottom line, the floor looks brand new. Excellent workmanship. Would not hesitate to use them again.

The company did a very good job in my rental house. From estimating to installing everyone seemed very professional and they knew what they were doing. The estimate was in a very reasonable price and very detailed, it pointed out every item I wanted to change on my flooring improvement. I needed to replace some carpet I had in one of my rental properties for hardwood, and sand and finish the hardwood I had on the rest of the house. So I consulted four different flooring companies in order to have different opinions. I picked United Flooring Group again to do the job, it was my third time using them. The estimator, Carlo was very attentive to the details of my house and to the needs that my wife and I expressed. We needed something that would last and which would bring us some savings with maintenance cost. He gave us ideas and we finally came up with the right choice. They replaced the carpet for hardwood, and also sanded and finished the rest of the house including the stairs. The crews were efficient and they did a very clean job. Once they were gone the floor seemed brand new and of course beautiful. It seems to me that this company is the most professional around and I will continue to recommend United Flooring Group to any of my friends.

I called the office and the receptionist was very nice and polite, she help me setup a free estimate for the very same day. Carlo (the sales rep) arrived on time and brought lots of sample to look at it, he help us pick up a flooring that was best for our needs, His Knowledgeable was very impressive. Charlotte Flooring & Design replaced our old flooring in our entire house with the most beautiful American Walnut hardwood floor. Sanded and finished the flooring with its natural color. They worked well with our contractor and they were very accommodating to everyone involved schedules. They also helped us find a very affordable tile and installed the tile in our mud-laundry room to compliment the wood floor. Highly recommend this company for your hardwood floor and tile needs, great quality with great customer services!

We picked a Pre-finished hardwood floor to replace our carpet. Charlotte Flooring & Design had a GREAT Selection to choose from in their showroom. The process only took 1 day! And they took out and took away our old carpet. They also install tile in our small powder room and laundry room. We are happy to recommend this company to anyone who wants quality service, friendly staff and great products with warranties.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The project was started on February 4, 2013. The work was completed and the floors and back splash are nice looking. However, right away we noticed that there were a few issues that needed to be corrected. It took some planning, but Carlo sent workers to fix some minor issues that included putting a wood filler between some boards that had larger gaps than they should, adding grout/caulk to an area on the top of the backsplash that had a gap,etc. There was one area on the vertical side of the tile backsplash that was just crooked. The worker who added the caulk said that Carlo himself would need to come and take a look to decide what would be done. I called the company and scheduled an appointment for Carlo to come and take a look. He came over around March 11 to add caulk to an area skipped previously. He also looked at the crooked tile and said that it needed to be fixed. He told me that it should not look like that. He even took photos with his phone of the area (the tile is out of line by almost ½ of an inch along this vertical area). I thanked him and told him to let me know when he could fix it. On May 28, 2013, I sent the following email to Carlo. Sent: Tuesday, May 28, 2013 2:12 PMTo: 'Carlo Garcia' Carlo, I hope you are doing well. When you were out to check my kitchen in March you said you would be calling to come back to fix the crooked tile in my kitchen. I am sure you have been extremely busy, but just don?t want to wait too long to remind you. Please let me know if you are available anytime soon. Thanks, Bonnie I did not hear back from Carlo or his assistant, Morgan. On June 6, 2013, I sent a follow up email asking if he had received the first one. Thu 6/6/2013 2:25 PM Carlo, Did you receive my email from last Tuesday (May 28)? I have not heard from you and want to follow up. Thanks, Bonnie At this point I was beginning to be disappointed. It seemed to me that once the job was complete and the workers gone, his customer service was not as important. Later that day the following string of emails started. Hi Bonnie, I talked with Daniel to see when he can do the repair, he has been really busy, he said he can do it probably at the end of next week Thursday or Friday, he said he will let me know tomorrow when for sure when he has his schedule in front of him. At this point, my family was well into summer and traveling, etc. I knew I had 12 months warranty and assumed someone would call me and set an appointment to come and fix it. Truly I was frustrated and disappointed at how I was being treated. In September (6 months after I asked for the tile to be fixed and Carlo agreed that it needed to be fixed), I sent an email to Carlo. I also sent him all of the emails from June when I was waiting for Morgan to send someone to my home. On Tue 9/3/2013 6:20 PM, I sent the following email to Carlo. Carlo, Here is a string of emails from the beginning of June. I am still waiting to hear back from Morgan. I am sure this is not the customer service you intend to offer, so please let me know what is going on. Thank you, Bonnie 704-5XX-XXXX Believe it or not, I never heard from him. Carlo has been non responsive! So in October, I called Morgan and she said that she had no idea what happened. I also told her that now I had a new problem. The new floors that were laid had begun to curve up at the edges just like my dining room floors that Carlo had pointed out. After one cancelled appointment, Carlo came to my house on October 22, 2013. He took one look at my floors and said there was a problem. He immediately went to my crawl space to take a look and came back telling me that it was not their fault, but the fault of who built the house and the fact that there was not enough plastic laying on the ground in my crawl space. He told me that he was not responsible and would not do anything about this (I have since examined my neighbor?s home who has the same crawl space which is lacking black plastic. Her hardwood floors are fine!) He told me that probably in a year it may flatten out! It seems to me that since he saw that a similar thing was happening in my dining room when he gave me the estimate, he should have gone to the crawl space, seen that there was not plastic covering the entire surface and declined my job if he could not stand behind his 1 year warranty! After all, this is his profession, not mine. I do not feel excess humidity is a problem with my crawl space. My crawl space is in excellent order, there is no water standing at all and it is very dry. Carlo actually measured the humidity in crawl space and it registered at 17%. This number is far below the suggested 55% humidity to not have moisture problems. It is known for a fact that the only way to prevent ANY moisture from the crawl space entering your home is that have it completely encapsulated. Not many homes in the Charlotte area have this because it is not a serious problem in this area. After he would not take any ownership for the floor problem, I pointed out the crooked tile and asked why no one followed through on this problem and all of my emails and calls. He said, ?Haven?t we been out here to fix things 3 or 4 times? Why did you not mention this?? That?s where I almost exploded! I told him that he was out in March to see it himself. I told him that he said it was crooked and must be fixed. I told him that he took photo of it with his phone! None of this he remembered nor did he acknowledge the numerous emails asking him to come back to fix the improperly installed tile. This is the proverbial ?straw that broke the camel?s back.? Carlo is a great salesman. If your job is totally completed and satisfactory to you once they leave, you will be fine. If you need him to come back for warranty work once you have paid, good luck! I would NOT recommend using Charlotte Flooring and Design or Carlo Garcia.

Carlo come out and gave me an estimate, he was by far the most professional out all the guys that came out to our house. I felt very good about Charlotte Flooring from the beginning and they did a excellent job, my floors and bathroom looks wonderful. The crew was always on time and very professional. We had one small issue with the hardwood floors after was completed, Carlo and Ruben come out and had the crew come back to have it fix on the very same day! I strongly recommend them and will hire them again if I ever buy a new home.
