Rarely am I the person to go on the internet and write about a company I do business with however I have to make this one exception. We are redesigning our kitchen and had to shop for new flooring. In the past 2 months I've made many trips to various tile and flooring stores to find the perfect flooring only to be disappointed by the high retail price for anything that my husband & I could agree upon. Example we found a tile by DalTile called Scene that is polished, made of porcelain but has a marble/limestone look that doesn't make our existing hardware floors stand out in a bad way. Shopping around I found the retail price was quoted $15/sq ft from DalTile, Lowe?s could order the tile for $7.75/sq ft and every other store or tile installer said they couldn't beat Lowe?s price. I would need to buy 589 sq ft of tile for our kitchen and tv room which was a huge disappointment for us. Couple of weeks ago I stopped by United Flooring Group on South Blvd with my DalTile tile sample in hand looking for a suitable and much less expensive alternative. To my surprise Carlo looked up the tile we really wanted, let him know the pricing I found from Lowe?s plus the retail DalTile price, called DalTIle directly and was able to sell us the exact tile we wanted for $4.50/sq ft!?!? I couldn't believe it when he told me the price and called the wife to confirm the size tile and placed the order on the spot for 589 sq ft of the tile we thought was outside our budget. After all the savings in the tile we decided to extend our renovations and we replaced all our Carpet upstairs with a 5? Hickory Hand Scraped Hardwood Flooring. The Hardwood floors was on sale ($4.14/sf). United Flooring just finished Installing our new floors, both the hardwood and the tile looks amazing, they did a great job. They arrived promptly to give me a quote and discuss the options for flooring in my home. With pets and an active young son I knew that I wanted something durable, attractive, and easy to care for. After reviewing the options I chose vinyl plank flooring. They had a price to me immediately following our discussion and brought a number of samples by my home so I could see them in my home before choosing. We quickly scheduled installation. The crew was wonderful. They arrived early and worked late to get the job done on time. When it was finished, the floors looked wonderful. Now, several months later, they still look like new. Every person I dealt with was wonderful from the initial contact, to the office staff, to the installers. I highly recommend United Flooring and luxury vinyl plank flooring.

Installation went well. refinishing done well. On time. responded well to questions. Job was completed on time. Overall good job.

The crew showed up on time everyday and worked hard to get he job done. We had a small repair that was addressed in the very next day. The owner Carlo came by and inspected all the work done, everyone in the company is very friendly and easy to work with. I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Second, the day my estimate was scheduled, Carlos (the owner) called to confirm our appointment and let me know he may be a few minutes late because of another estimate. When he did show up - not late at all - he was exceptionally knowledgable and spent a long time with me to make sure I understood everything - he took a genuine interest in wanting my business. Needless to say, I hired him on the spot - and I'm really glad I did. The other company I called was late for the estimate, could have cared less about my business, and had a higher price. I'm not typically the easiest person to work with so i've been told so take this as an extreme compliment. I work crazy hours and am away for work many days. They were able to accommodate me. After speaking with the owner Carlo Garcia I felt at complete ease with my decision. They were trustworthy and reliable. I was able to give them a copy of my keys when I left and came home a few days later with a brand new home. I was so happy I almost cried they did an amazing job and it was beautiful.

I called United Flooring the last week of December to schedule an appt. to replace about 950 sq. ft. of flooring in my home. The first week of January I received a call back and an appt. was quickly scheduled. The salesman showed up on time (early in fact but I could not meet him until our set time). I explained I was looking to replace flooring in the foyer, kitchen, DR, LR and possibly the 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor. I was interested in laminate because I am on a slab and I have 2 large dogs & the flooring in place currently has not held up well. He brought some samples in and there was 1 I liked quite a bit. We agreed he would provide 2 quotes or separate them somehow so I would have 1 with the bedrooms and 1 without. I was told I would get the quote by Friday of that same week. Friday came and went with no quote. It was Tuesday of the following week when I got the quote and it was for all rooms, including the bedrooms. I emailed them back and asked if I could get another one with the bedrooms excluded and that I was interested in doing my own demo & trim work. I got a call 2 days later from the salesman who said he would get that to me by the end of the day. I got the quote rather quickly & I was pleased with it. I called him to let him know that I wanted to proceed but that I would bring in a kitchen cabinet door to their showroom the next day just to make sure that was the right choice. He was unable to meet me but he said he would pull some samples & have the one I was interested in ready for me to look at again. I drive to the showroom (on a vacation day from work no less) & the lady there took me to what samples they had in the store. She didn't seem to know anything about pulled samples & she had to go in the back to find the ones I was interested in. I agreed to proceed with the flooring I picked out & we picked an install date. While she was working on the contract she said that she forgot this was the flooring they needed an exact price on yet & that they had one price on it recent that was about 85 cents higher per SF then I was quoted but they were waiting for their supplier to provide the correct price. She said it would definitely be higher than quoted but she was unsure how much higher. Obviously I felt like someone was trying to pull something over on me. No where during the process did they say the price quoted wasn't definite. The first I heard of it was when she working on the contract. I told her I was very unhappy with this whole process, quotes late and not correct and now the price is unknown. I told her I changed my mind and good bye. Within 15 minutes of leaving the store I received a voicemail from them saying they heard from their supplier just after I left (imagine that?!) and they would give the price they quoted. I have not returned their call nor will I. There is 0 chance I would give this company any of my money. I will be sure to tell everyone I can about the poor customer service & attempt to switch prices at the last minute.

A representative came to our home to provide an estimate for the installation of hard wood floors the last week of December 2014. I was told that I would have an estimate by the following week. I called representative, Nick, the first week and was told he send me an estimate the evening of Saturday, 1/3/15. I never received it. I called again on Monday, 1/5/15 and was told that I would have an estimate no later than Wednesday, 1/7/15. I called once more on Thursday, 1/8/15 and was told I would have an estimate by Friday, 1/9/15. Of course I never received a response from the company. I was very disappointed.

They as much told me they don't do repair work, sorry but work is work. My job was enough to keep someone busy for 2 days and I pay top dollar.

We were in the middle of a kitchen remodel "gone wrong" where the cabinet installers had scratched our engineered hardwood floor, so we had to replace it. They came quickly to give an estimate, were very professional and were able to install in a timely manner (our project had already been going on much longer than it should have). They were very careful to protect our new cabinets during demolition and installation. Hard workers! The demo guy had our old, engineered hardwood (which was glued to our slab) out in about half a day's time. Did a great job laying tile, grouting (using that tricky epoxy grout) and finishing off with new quarter round trim, and even painted all our trim in the project area. They gave us one of the best experiences we have had during our entire kitchen project. They showed why they have such a good standing on Angie's List!

Did a great job. Cleaned up after. Very careful about carpets.

I am so happy we found and hired Carlo to handle our small project! The entire process, from hiring him to finishing the project, took less then we thought would take.Carlo came out and gave us a quote on the both rooms and it was right in line with other quotes we received. He was personable, clean, and understood exactly what we were going for. One day before the installation we had a leaking problem. Carlo understood the situation and we rescheduled for 2 days after the one had selected before. That was great since we were expecting something around a week or more. His team was great! They were polite and clean up after themselves. Besides the leaking we had no issues at all during the whole process. I would highly recommend United Flooring to anybody looking for a contractor for a big or small project. He is incredibly professional and keeps you up to date every step of the way so there are no surprises.
