Jose was very professional. I think he tried his best. The carpet was still damp 6 hours later. I had a ceiling fan in each room and two box fans going, with all windows open. The technician did get one stain out. The carpets looked exactly like they did before the cleaning and they had a noticeable grit to them. If you rub your hands on them you get this almost greasy like texture on your hands. I would not use this company again.

Kareem was early which was great - he called first and he did a great job. Very professional and diligent. The family room carpet was filthy and he got it clean - I am extremely pleased.

I hired My Carpet Cleaner to do repairs on my carpet in a bedroom and to clean the carpet in my entire home. The carpet repair looks good although the "owner" tried to overcharge me in the beginning. I am not sure if this person was the actual owner because he told me he was driving the owner's car that day. I also inquired about stretching the carpet but he did not seem that interested and said that all the furniture would have to be moved. I then had two other gentlemen from the same company come in and clean the carpet. The carpet cleaning went fine, they did the job quickly. When they were done they left in a hurry, leaving a pool of water on my wood floor. I am sure if I did not wipe it up right after they left it would have ruined my floor. Additionally, 2 days later I realized that 3 rings and necklace were missing from my jewelry box. I had no other strangers in my home and they were all in my bedroom unattended at some point during their visits. I will never have them do any work for me again - ever. Update: March 20, 2013 So...this is actually an addendum to my earlier review. The "owner" of the business just called me and threatened to sue me for reporting my experience with his business. On the website of the business they used to have Angie's List logos - but they had no valid relationship with Angie's List. They have since taken them down. Please visit their website and attempt to post any type of review - negative or positive. There is no portal for posting reviews on their site. I filed a police report regarding my experience. The owner seems to think I should have contacted him before I posted a review. Actually, we had quite a few conversations before the review was posted. I called them first when I noticed that my items were missing and sent him pictures, etc. He actually told me that he had gone to his employees' house and "looked around". Really???? Nothing I have posted is fallacy; this was my experience with his business and his phone call threatening me does not negate the fact that this happened. Per one of my conversations with him, he is not bonded (which probably could have eliminated his concern - although money does not make up for what happened). He nor his business are listed on the IICRC website either, although the logo is displayed on his website. I understand that he has little control over what happened but to then threaten the parties involved is definitely not the best way to do business.

The C grade for professionalism was not for the guys who showed up to do the service, it is for the management. I bought a LivingSocial promotional rate. When the guys arrived, they informed me that management has stated that there is a $125 minimum required so I would need to purchase another $25 in service (since the promotion was only for $100). I disagreed and stated that this was not explicitly stated when I purchased the voucher. So, they called the management and they relented. BUT came up with another gotcha. I'm 20.1 miles from their place. I had checked to make sure that I was less than 20 miles from their zip code and I was. They wanted to charge me $15 for the tenth of a mile difference. I also said that was ridiculous and the management relented on that as well. I felt bad for the service guys having to communicate management's stupid underhanded methods to get more money out of a promotion that they should not have offered if they could not handle the interest. If you want $75 for the job... put out the promotion for $75. Instead of potentially winning a new customer, they just made me mad. Last thing about the job. Their solution is not quick dry... so I have to wait 4.5 to 5 hours before I shift the furniture back in and use the rooms. The guys who came to do the service were the only pleasant portion of the job. You could tell that they were uncomfortable with what they had to communicate and were very nice the entire exchange. Very thorough with the job as well.

They were very fast and efficient. I had no problems.

They do a great job. He was quick and cleaned up after himself. He was nice and did a really good work. The carpet smells great and the price was great as well.

I am in the final stages of having an addition to my home completed. The heating and air will be finalized and I didn't want all the dust and crud from construction and floor finishing blowing out of the ducts when it was turned on. Frye's Air Duct company (which I also got from Angie's List) suggested I call a carpet cleaning business to do the job as it was too small for them. AJ returned my call promptly and was able to do the job the following day. I was grateful for this as the HVAC guys are coming the day after. He called to say he was on his way. He asked to see the ducts being cleaned and we discussed the best way to get to the areas as I had just had my hardwoods finished. He entered through a window with just a hose. He wore booties too. The job was completed in short order with excellence. I paid him and he was on his way. I guess the final test will be when the system is actually turned on!

I was very pleased with the professionalism of AJ and his employees. The prices were very reasonable. The carpet dye was beautiful, but after it dried, we discovered the carpet did not accept the dye deep down due to it's density. So, they came back and re-dyed to make it right. I am completely satisfied and would recommend My Carpet Cleaning to anyone!
