Description of Work: Moved across state, rental truck, my goods were not tied down, broken furniture and poor packing, owner not willing to make reimbursement for broken items, poor communication on his part.

Description of Work: The team that moved me were nice guys but arrived late for my move. The move took 2 days to complete and they charged me a truck charge twice when the should have stayed and finished the job the 1st day. I contacted them about have packers come out to pack up everything so the movers would be ready to go when they arrived. I never recieved a call back and the packers never showed up. The only reason I would even consider using this company again is because the guys who came out to do the move where so nice.

Description of Work: Moving Simplified moved my son's belongings and furniture from Charlotte, N.C. to Cape Cod MA. They did a fantastic job. The distance was about 16 to 18 hour drive. No choice but to drive right through the middle of NYC and deal with the traffic was impressive. Great young people who worked very hard.

+ -1 moreI scheduled the appointment with Eric a few days in advance and let him know that we had just had all the hardwood floors replaced and refinished, therefore all items had to be lifted and set into place -- no sliding boxes or furniture. He assured me that his team would be careful. The morning of the move day we got a call from Eric saying that his team would be a few minutes late and they were - just barely. We were impressed that they called for a 3 minute difference! The two men who moved our stuff were courteous, professional and efficient. They helped set up two beds in addition to moving stuff and they were very good-humored around our cranky toddler. We were very happy with our experience of this company and would definitely recommend them to others and use them again.
Description of Work: We had our belongings in a POD unit in our driveway and hired Moving Simplified to unload it for us.

+ 0 moreFour man crew arrived when they said they would, did what they said they would for the price they quoted. They were very polite.
Description of Work: Prepared piano and loaded it onto a cargo trailer. Helped load other furniture onto trailer. They had a 2 hour minimum and the piano was loaded in about 30 minutes. They spent the rest of the time loading other furniture.
