During the monthly check on my elderly mother's HVAC system, the technician suggested to her that the rust on the heating coils was emitting Carbon Monoxide into her home and recommended replacing her HVAC system. (They took readings while there and they read 0-zero) My mother called me while the technician was there and I requested that they give her an estimate and we would consider. My mother contacted the sales person Martin Barnett for the estimate. He came out for the estimate and again spoke to the "possibility" of Carbon Monoxide poisoning (Again, their readings had shown none). My mother being 80 and not in good health felt pressured into purchasing a new system. Now this took place 12/31/2020 - was this a result of some type of incentive to sell units before the end of the year? The system was installed the next day (New Year's Day 2021) at a cost of $15.5K! My mother has a 2,100 sqft ranch. Other estimates were around $8K. This is an obvious case of influencing an elderly woman into thinking this had to be done immediately (Again, their Carbon Monoxide readings had shown none)

Im not real happy with them. I mean they are a very professional organization that comes and does the job. But they kinda gauged me on some parts. He did an excellent job. He said I needed a part that I didn't think was causing any problems but he said it was. So he replaced it, they just gauged me on the part. It was like a $300 part, I thought that was way too much money. He came exactly when he said he was going to come.

They were on time, thorough and gave a good explanation of recommendations to fix things. The price was good.

We have a membership, an annual contract. They come out twice a year. I think it is $40 a month. They were on time, they were professional. They gave us kind of good detail of what was going on. They didn’t try to push any extras towards us. I wish they were more proactive with their memberships, that’s just a minor thing.

I've been using them for ten years or more. There was no cost, I am a preferred member. Their price is the best of anybody else. I like their professionalism, promptness, good service, and they are trustworthy.

The unit has held up.
