Steve Mobley is not only a very skilled mason but a gentleman and a pleasure to do business with. He was professional but friendly and accommodating. The job turned out spectacular and I will use Steve again for future projects. His crew was wonderful! They were skilled at what they do and a pleasure to work with when I had any questions. I cannot say enough about the entire project and how thrilled I am with the results! I would HIGHLY recommend him and already did with some other companies that I do business with and after seeing my job they all agree that they will recommend Steve!

I contacted Mr. Mobley Wednesday August 9th in the afternoon to see if he could give me an estimate on some brick crack repairs. He told me over the phone he was going to be around my area August 10th and would swing by the house to give me an estimate on the repairs. He asked for my contact information so I provided it. The following morning I called him and left him a voice mail to get an indication of what time approximately he would be arriving at the house. I never heard back from him. He didn't even bother to call me back to tell me he wasn't able to come by the house. Very unprofessional and unacceptable so I wanted to let other customers know.

I had a terrible experience with them. He had me waiting on him all day. He never showed up and he never called. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. He didn't have the decency to call me and say he wasn't coming. It really put a bad taste in my mouth. He's unreliable.

Steve came out for an estimate on July 4 (a holiday!). We quoted a couple different types of hardscaping businesses and liked Steve's easy-goingness and his skills with brick. After many months of figuring out exactly what we wanted, Steve came back out, remeasured, and quoted us again. He might be more expensive than other brickmasons, or he might be cheaper, but we liked him a lot and knew we would get great results, so we went with him. Once we were finally ready and knew what kind of wall we wanted, he brought his guys out and the whole project was completed in 2 weeks, including several rainy days where they didn't come (because you can't pour concrete or lay brick in the rain). Very professional. We paid a $1000 less than what he quoted at the end -- even after starting the wall, we said we wanted it 2 feet shorter, and he adjusted the price at the end. Thanks again Steve!

I have a small concrete retaining wall above the driveway to my garage. Several of the blocks had worked loose and the caps had come off and cracked. In addition, some of the mortar between the wall and the driveway had deteriorated and washed out. I contacted Steve about the repair. He came out about 2 days later and gave me an estimate. I gave him the ok to proceed and he gave me a date when he could do it. He came out on the agreed date with another chap and performed the repair. Overall, I am happy with his work and professionalism. Although it wasn t a big job, he did it when he said he would, at the price he quoted. No surprises.

Came out, walked around, never heard from him again.

The crew showed up on time and spent most of a day removing the old wall. This entailed tearing down the concrete block wall a block at a time. They were very careful and also very neat. When my wife came home that evening her first comment was about how clean and neat the area had been kept. The second day they were again on time and finished the work that day. We were both pleased with the result and would not hesitate to call on them for future work.

You should want Steve Mobley of Mobley's Masonry for all your home improvement contracting needs. But he specializes in Masonry brick laying and he is outstanding. A few years ago I hired his company to remove and rebrick my front walkway (about 100'). He was so reliable, a perfectionist, prompt, professional. I asked him to design and create a back brick patio 31x13'. When I called him to make an appointment for an estimate he was prompt. His workers were professional, courteous, and hardworking which made his estimate extremely fair. He completed the job in what i consider record time and I can not be more satisfied with my patio. I would highly recommend Mobley's Masonry to anyone looking for quality workmanship.
