The provider was very prompt in contacting me after I ordered the service. And when I messaged them to cancel the order, they were again extremely prompt (13 minutes!) in replying to me. They were very nice, and I would love to call them for another job someday.

This guys--Tony and Paul-- (and this company) are totally professional. They arrived as scheduled. Two of the projects required unanticipated additional work. (A ceiling fixture came without three bolts; the ceiling fan needed some additional jerry-rigging on three of the five fan blades.) All handled smoothly, with good spirits, and without additional fee. The crew cleaned up after their work and wore paper overshoes to avoid dirt on floors. I've never seen electricians do that before! In all, all required work and one small additional task were accomplished; the house is clean; everything works as it should. Before leaving, they walked me through the tasks and new paperwork. Pretty impressive. Definitely on my "use again" list.

Paul was ontime, very personable, completely thorough with the breaker inspection. Was polite and not pushy about other things we might want to get done, and left us information. Communicated all charges and went through the house doing the work. Very nice guy, good professional service.

They have been excellent. They have good and personable technicians. I like that they call us before the show up. They come in, do a quick and efficient job. We purchased the generator from them years ago that runs off of propane. They come out periodically and check it and they can also remotely check it as well. With the breaker box, the workers got all of the work done in half a day. I have been very pleased with their work.

|THE WORK WAS GOOD BUT THE PRICE WAS STILL HIGH EVEN AFTER HE LOWERED THE PRICE. THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO GET A QUOTE BUT THEN I WAS INFORMED HE WAS HERE TO DO WORK. GUESS THE PEOPLE SETTING UP VISIT DID NOT LISTEN WELL.

The service was good. It ended up being a little more expensive than I think it should have been and that was even after the guy who came out came down off his price. He was very professional and very friendly. He did a great job but we stood out there negotiating the price for quite a while and he had like tier prices and it came down one tier and I still think that it was overpriced. I have done electrical work myself before and I am just too old to do it now. The job took him an hour and then he had to purchase the wiring but it was overpriced probably about $100. The work was great. I checked out his wiring and he did a really good job. He was a really nice guy but the price was a lot more than I anticipated when he told me what the pricing was in the beginning and then it was better after we negotiated but it still was not what I thought it should be. I already had one light in the crawl space but I wanted to put three more which he just attached to the line that was already there and then more wiring and three light receptacles on top of that. I would recommend his work. I just think that his pricing was a little high. He charged me an additional $100 on top of the deal. When he came out I thought that it was going to be to give me an estimate on the work but he told me that it was not to give an estimate but it was to actually do the work and when I talked to the young lady on the phone, we were talking about an estimate because I was not sure how much it was going to ride. I would use their service again in the future but I would make sure that they understood that I wanted a quote first.

I agreed to replacing some outlets that were not working for an additional $400 but wondered what a different company would have charged since I thought the quote was outrageous. UPDATE: I submitted an earlier review which grossly overstated the estimate they provided. I am attempting to correct that. The other comments have not changed. The estimate they gave ranged from $1260 to $2090. A good portion of each option was for a POWERCLUB MEMBERSHIP (read service contract).

Installed a chandelier and are doing a full house evaluation.

Mister Sparky by Wise Eclectic Control Inc., was one of the best service experience I have had in a long time. They brought back the customer in ?Customer Service? Brandon Schnell was my service tech and was very professional and defiantly knew his stuff. He was very intuitive and understood exactly what I wanted. He installed a Chandelier with a colleague of his in my front Fourier which is 18.5 feet high. The job was done with my complete satisfaction. If you?re looking for electrical work done in your home, you owe it to yourself to make Mister Sparky one of your first calls. The prices are fair and very competitive. I purchased the Big Deal for $99 for 2 ceiling fans installed. This is the best deal I've seen for ceiling fan installation over at least the last 7 months, and I've never seen this price offered by a licensed electrician. I was ecstatic that I could also purchase 2 of these deals because we had 4 ceiling fans that needed to be installed. I was even more pleased when I spoke to them on Thursday and was able to schedule the work for the following Monday. We moved into this house a few months ago and have encountered a number of issues ranging from electrical to plumbing to rotten wood, so we were prepared for the installation to have some additional costs. There were none! There is normally a $49 dispatch fee, but that was also waived with the deal. Despite the amazing price, they still performed a complimentary safety inspection and advised that we meet with a safety advisor to discuss some needed / nice to have updates. The technician advised us that the safety advisor could give us better options and this would be a free estimate. After the inspection, the technician (Paul) got right to work and quickly assembled the ceiling fans and put them up. He arrived when expected, was polite and knowledgeable, and worked quickly. He began installing the ceiling fans around 1:30pm and was complete by 4:30pm. All of the fixtures work and the installations appear very sturdy. I asked whether he could provide an estimate to replace an old thermostat and after a call into his office, he said that his manager was not comfortable with the install due to complications that can arise with the HVAC system, but Paul referred me to a HVAC person (who he called for me and helped me arrange an appointment) and I was very pleased with his help on this matter (and a very reasonable price for the install). Overall, we were very pleased with the experience and would definitely use Mister Sparky again!

Company was very professional and the work we finally had done was good quality. Company was very expensive and tried to change the price from a written quote. To the company's credit, when we complained to the offfice, they did credit us back the difference.

The issue was resolved and I understood a bit more about the electrical system in my town home. I was totally impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the tech, Tony. Before he left, I signed up for the Power Club Program offered by Mister Sparky!

It turned out awesome. I paid additional for services. I think he screwed up on changing out a simple outlet for me and quoted me too high of a price. So that was one thing that stood out that was bad. But what was good, was that they did the job very quickly.

I purchased a $99 for $249 deal. A Mister Sparky man was here yesterday and quoted me $936 for the simple work I need done. This far exceeds the $250 firm price I received from another licensed electrician. I paid the man $49 for his trip charge, but their prices are too expensive, and frankly, he didn't seem to know how to do the job. He couldn't figure out where the wire would go; after 6 explanations in front of the area, he finally got it.

I was a little surprised at how much electricity cost. The job I wanted him to do for me was way out of my price range. This big deal had no bearing whatsoever on the cost of that project. Not even a drop in the bucket! My $249 did not go very far. I ended up having to pay him a little extra for this service. He did do a thorough job on telling me how much extra I needed. Things I had no idea I needed to replace.

I engaged the provider through Angie's "Big Deal" offering $249 of electrical work for $99. The Electrician dispatched was very professional, arrived on time and was courteous of our property. Upon arrival, I asked for him to estimate the following... - Replace my 50 amp range receptacle . - Install a new receptacle below my electrical panel in the garage where I wanted to put a refrigerator. He looked at the work and gave me an estimated price for that as well as some up sell features for over $1000. After reviewing the estimate details, we agreed to replace only the Range receptacle for $249. Preventing a better rating... 1. I do feel the work done was worth $99 but not $249 value of the certificate. 2. I was also not comfortable with the "up sell" on other services that were really not necessary such as "whole house Surge suppressor".

Very easy to schedule, arrived on time, and completed the job promptly.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were wonderful. I ended up paying $755 on top of the $99 Angie's List service. It was $250 worth of service but the thing was what I wanted done was 4 chandeliers taken down and replaced and I've got 12 foot ceilings and their rates are $250 per chandelier so that service really only paid for one. The rest was out of pocket. He did a wonderful job and the guy was here from 5:15 to 10:45 p.m. so it was no quick job. He was very patient and very professional. I thought the rate was cheap myself but it certainly wasn't what I had anticipated and I don't know that I really even needed an electrician just to change those out but I'm afraid of electricity so I preferred having a professional do it. I will absolutely use them again.

Good work but much too expensive

I bought a big deal from Angie's List....$99 for $249 dollars worth of service from Sparky's Electric. I bought the fan myself. When the worker arrived he showed me a book with preset charges for the installation of the bathroom fan, approximaetly $700. When I challenged this number it was negotiated down to approximately $500, still extremely high in my judgment. So in addition to my original investment of $99 for what I was told would be $250 worth of work I had to write an additional check of $240 to cover the cost of the project. In conversation with others since the work was done, I have been told that they paid about half what I was charged for the same service. So I would not use them again. The worker was polite and professional and did the work well. My concern is that the "Big Deal" seems to be a come-in. Once you've invested $99, you're not likely to walk away from the work, but I don't believe I got much bang for my buck.

They were very professional, knowledgeable, prompt and knew what they were doing. It went great. As a matter of fact I had them come back for something else.

They had to come back because I needed a switchplate fixed. The reason I gave them a B for overall experience is because they sit there and do a whole sales thing on electrical things before they actually do what you called them to do; I found that a little annoying. So, I ended up paying extra because I did their yearly maintenance thing just to get the guy out of the door. The good thing about them was that they were very prompt in calling and very friendly, both on the phone and the person that came. The bad is that before he even got to what I wanted, I had to do all these other stuff first. I didn't know I was going to have to do that when I purchased the Deal. They need to be a little more time conscientious; sometimes the consumer just wants their job done.

They send the quote on time but I did not selected them as their cost was higher.

It went good. We were happy with it. We decided to become like customers with them and we were prepaid to get whole house inspection details which we haven't set up yet.
