Scotty came out and explained the system and options very clearly. The whole process was pretty much as Scotty explained it. I was very happy with the professionalism and accommodating nature of everyone that worked on my install. If I need them to schedule around my work schedule, they were happy to do so. Scotty always kept me well informed throughout the entire process. I haven't had to use the generator yet, but the install process went very smoothly.

Everything went well. When he put the switch on the outside he spelled a word wrong with a major marker. He did okay. I had an electrician look at it that was doing a home inspection and he said that he did fine but he should have neatened it up. The services were not cheap. I bought a generator from them the first time plus the switch and 50 feet of cable so it was $2,000 so it wasn't cheaper.

I used them once. They seemed to do a good job. It was expensive and I got the feeling they were trying to upsell me on a lot of stuff. The guys were pretty thorough and seemed to know what they were doing.

It was a very good experience. They are very fast. They are not cheap but they are good at what they do. They usually come that day or the next day. They are very professional and they clean up after themselves.

It was okay. The person they sent out did a good job but his personality drove me crazy. He told me that I gotta do this and this. I didn't want him telling me what I had to do. I personally did not like him but the company was good. I asked if they could put a light switch on the wall so we didn't have to walk around to the other side of the kitchen to turn on the light. He said it would take a lot of work and what it would cost. I just wanted a yes or no answer. They were very thorough and they didn't cut corners. They weren't bad. I think they came through our home warranty service. He was very prompt. I would probably use them again unless somebody comes along that I like better. I would recommend them for electrical work.

It was fine. They did a god job. It was a little pricey but most are charging about the same rate. We would recommend them.

My husband was not happy with how they left the garage and he preferred not to use them again. I used them once before to put a light in a closet and they did a good job, but the second time that they came out and he was trying to get a plug in the garage, but it was not in the right place. Then he left the garage with a hole where my husband had to go back and re-patch it up.

It was a good experience with no problems at all.

It went fine. It was $50 to come out and then the additional for doing the work. I had to buy my own fan. He was pretty quick in doing the service. I thought the price was a little bit high but I don't know what the other rates are going for.

It was okay but I felt like he was trying to sell me stuff. We used my bulbs because his bulbs would have been $80 a piece. I'm not going to call them again. They were very nice. They said they were going to give me one of their services and they would look at the electrical box and make recommendations. He wrote me up a quote for about $5,000 to change out all the things in the boxes because this could start on fire and this could do here and here. I said I wasn't doing that. I thought $165 was a little much just to put my bulbs in the spotlights. I thought if was a little unnecessary because all I wanted was my spotlights fixed. They gave me a window but I had to call and he said his other job took longer.

The estimate was a little high so they didn't do any work for me.

It was expensive. The service was fast and good. The performance was good and the service was fast. It was just more than I expected to pay.

I wasn't aware of their policy but after he did the work, he said that I didn't owe them anything because they were late. They were not very late, but they were late. I was shocked and amazed. He was very, very nice. I didn't know where they were located but he was coming from a neighboring town and that was the reason he was delayed. He certainly didn't have to do that because I didn't even know about the policy. He was very nice and did a fantastic job. I was a happy person. He gave me a card where I would get $25 off the next service if I referred somebody but I have never done that. It was perfect. He did very quick and very efficient work. He did a very good job. He was only a couple of minutes late and I didn't even realize it. He was a very nice young man. I would use them again.

While the service man was polite, we were not happy with Mr. Sparky. In fact, one week after our service, the fan stopped working all together! This Angie's List "deal" also included a check all of our electric systems which netted a long list of repairs "necessary to bring it up to code." We found this interesting as we had our house inspected when we bought it and have had several electricians work on our house during the 14 years we have owned it, and none found any of these problems. We were given three levels of repair with three levels of cost, the cheapest one being $10,000! We respectfully declined to have any of the work done and honestly feel like this was a scam.

I wouldn’t use them again. The deals that I purchased, they decided that it didn’t cover what needed done and what they said in the description. I wanted them to put in 2 light fixtures, and they said they didn’t want to cover additional work such as drilling into a stud.

Tech was professional, friendly, very detailed. Pricing structure was very high.

Scheduling the appointment was fine and he was out within the week. He came and told us we needed a bunch of work done and he did not provide a tune up for us.

The electrician was friendly and professional, showed up on time, did a good job. In my opinion, however, I didn't receive the full value of the deal because the electrician was only at the house for approximately 30 minutes and definitely didn't do 250 dollars worth of work.

It turned great. I took an annual contract with them and that was at an excellent price. They were terrific and I had no problems at all.

Overall, it was a mixed experience. The electrician that came out quoted me a few different prices, which were very costly. We eventually negotiated the price to the original value of the Deal. I don’t think I’d use them again due to the pricing difficulties, but they did do good work. I had him install two exterior electrical boxes. Had I not gotten the Deal price, I would give them an F on the price.

I purchased the Angie's List deal for $99 for 2 ceiling fan installs. They were right on time and did an excellent job with the fan install. One of my fans was wobbling and the technician did everything he could to balance it and ultimately it was a manufacturer's issue with the fan so the manufacturer is sending some new parts and Sparky's will be back out next week to install it for just the $59 service fee that the manufacturer will pay for. I think the standard price for 1 ceiling fan install is a little high $119 which is why I rated price as "B" but they do an excellent job and I believe everything is covered for a year. They were very professional, on time, and the technician even got on the phone with the manufacturer when I called to explain what was happening.

They were on time, they said they guarantee their work. He said that if I had a problem to call him and he would come back out and fix it. the ground fault interrupters are not working, and now I have a crazy electrical mess. I called this morning to let them know that its not working they said that they would take care of it and that they could only schedule me an after hour appointment which would cost me $199 because it was after hours. I told them that I was under the impression that they were going to stand by their work. And she told me that we would have to wait for the electrician. I think this company is so misleading, one person states they guarantee their work when they really don't.

The installation of the ceiling fans went smoothly....My technician, Paul, was very courteous and took the time to answer all of my questiions in re to the installation....He was very knowledgeable and even took the time to advise me on the type of security lights that would be cost effective for my house....I will definitely use Mr.Sparky again for any electrical issues at my residence.
