Description of Work: Responded to emergency call after a flood ... insisted we needed certain elements replaced ... they did this immediately and expensively, then quoted enormous and PRE FIXED prices for further work. We sent them away and had someone else do the work at half the price.

Description of Work: Installed power surge protectors on my inside electrical panel and my outside meter. I'm very pleased with the work performed and have had no problems since installation.

The tech did a single circuit trace and found a loose connection in an outlet. I wish it had been a little cheaper but I was happy with the fix. | |They will try to upwell you on other services which isn't unusual

Description of Work: Well, all I needed was their help to get one screw out that was stripped so I could attach my dryer cord. Sure was an expensive call for one little screw! But I needed their help ASAP and they came ASAP.

Description of Work: They replaced my breaker box. It went well. It was an all day job. The person doing the work stayed until the job was done, he didn't say, " it's getting late, I'll finish up tomorrow". I was very pleased with the result.

Description of Work: Grossly overcharged for basic installation of two ceiling fans. They were so busy putting stickers all over my fuse box they forgot to reset the breaker for my a/c when they were done with the work. Hours later as the house grew warmer I found out they left the circuit off.

Description of Work: I purchased the big deal to have two light fixtures installed. The lights went on back order and did not arrive before the expiration. I recently purchased two different lights and called to get a quote for installation. I explained they are similar lights in my kitchen to be switched out. They could not give me an estimate on the phone. I asked for a "ball park" and they said they would need to come out to give an estimate but could install at time of estimate. I said OK. They then told me that if I didn't have the lights installed there would be a $49 charge for the estimate. I said I just wanted my money back for the coupon as I didn't want to pay $49 for an estimate if I thought they were charging too much. He spoke with his manager and they said I should contact Angie's List for a refund.

Description of Work: The electrician rewired 1 outlet and relocated a power switch for a garbage disposal. The cost of service was high because the work was done last minute on a weekend. The work was done to my satisfaction and the electrician was friendly.

Description of Work: Sparky committed a lot of time and resources to correcting a botched job, sending more skilled and experienced guys and doing whatever had to be done to make me the customer happy. I think the guy they sent when I first called was not the right man for that job. But Sparky made it right in the end.

Description of Work: I did call to make an appt but they did not follow thru. I ended up hiring Mauney Electrical Services 704-400-8259 and that company was awesome!!

Description of Work: They removed 2 chandeliers & an overhead light in my hallway (12'ceilings), then installed an antique chandelier, moved one of the chandeliers to the other end of the hall, and installed a stained glass overhead fixture. Also, took down an existing kitchen light and installed a kitchen chandelier. Very patient, professional, and accommadating.

Description of Work: Mister Sparky installed four new ceiling fans in our home. Tyler was the person who did the actuallt install. He was very profeasional and knowledgeable. And always on time (he had to make two separate visits). He worked quickly but was also very sure to test and check functionality along the way...making sure that each fans was installed to their professional/technical standards and my look and functionality standards. I would be happy to work with Mr. Sparky again and would welcome Tyler's expertise as well.

Description of Work: Brandon Schnell ( Mister Sparky ) was very professional and had the equipment on his truck to successfully complete my requested project. He was also able to survey my electrical panel and show me where I could benefit from some modifications to my system. If I need additional electrical work, I will call Brandon.

Description of Work: He installed a lighting fixture in the master closet. He works very well and his work is very clean. He gave us advices for the 2 dining room. He is a very niice guy.
