One of the worst experiences I have ever had! I had the displeasure of having them come out to my home to see why my air conditioner was blowing hot air. He came in and went outside for less than 15 mins and came back in and said my coils in the attic are leaking...WITHOUT GOING IN THE ATTIC, and proposed almost 3000.00 to go up and replace them. Then went on to say that I should honestly just buy a brand new system and forget about the repairs. Me and my boyfriend were so upset because it was clear he saw two gay men and figured we were incompetent and he could scam us. I unfortunately paid for Freon to get my a/c working until I could get an actual professional to come look at it. And surely enough it turns out my coils weren't leaking but my condenser had rusted a hole in it and needed to be replaced and he didn't need to go in the attic to see that! The first person just needed to do his job and do an actual inspection of my system which is what I though I was paying for! These are not professional technicians they are professional homophobic scammers!! And I want my money back and I will drag this company on every corner of the internet until I do! Because the way I was treated was unacceptable!

Selling my house and a few issues came up on the inspection report. Called the company to get someone to come out and fix them. Was told someone would be there today between 10:30 and 1:00. At 1:30 no one had came or called so I called them and told them not to send anyone. That I would call someone else.

They were great. We used them for a lot of jobs and they were great. Easy to work with and a real nice crew. They were fast, thorough, and did a fantastic job. I like that a lot of the crew were vets.

They called me first, within minutes of starting my search. He was very nice, and offered to come see the job, for $29. My only issue is, their Angie's List page says they offer free estimates. Charging $29 to come look at the job is not free, even if they waive that fee later if I agree to hire them. A free estimate should mean that it costs me nothing, even if I decline to hire them. At least in my mind. I could be wrong. Otherwise, they seem nice enough.

They did an excellent job, were meticulous and took pride in their work satisfying us one hundred percent! About three years ago I had a humidifier installed by another company which started leaking after two years and stopped working. The humidifier Michael and Son installed has not given us any problems. It also came with a great warranty at a very reasonable price. I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

They were very prompt. They did a good job. A across the board for those folks. I don't think they really need to work on anything. They did a great job. The person who came out was very, very customer focused, pleasant to talk to, helpful, explained clearly what he was doing, and they were very, very prompt. They took the phone call and on the same call they were scheduling the person and they showed up on time.

Paid the $69 + tax minimum trip charge today to learn that it costs $275 for Michael & Son to hang a ceiling fan. Asked the office. "How much does it cost to hang a ceiling fan?" They would not not provide an estimate. "Talk to the tech" So they had the tech (Joe) call me and tell me that he could not provide a price nor a price range until he saw the job in person. His "minimum trip charge" would apply to any other costs, and that he's got great reviews and he'll be "on my side" and that we'd be very happy with his work. Well now he's seen the job and quoted about double what Home Depot or Lowe's would charge to do the VERY SAME job. Some of their customers are happy. Others are not. I'm in the second camp. Rip off alert. Demand a price estimate / price range before you let them into your home. Or call another company who will.

In the beginning, I felt that the technician was very professional and attentive to my needs. I explained to him what I believed to be the problem and he looked at the blower and did his on checks on the HVAC system. He stated that he knew what the problem was and went to his truck to work "numbers" of how much it was going to cost to fix my problem. I just knew that my issue would be resolved shortly until he came back and told me what he thought my issue was. I was told that he had a "good", "better" and "best" cost that ranged from over $3,000 to $10,000 to resolving my problem which all included replacing my entire HVAC system. I couldn't believe it. I politely declined all options and paid the service fee that I owed for him coming to my house. I then went to Walmart and bought some portable electric heaters to heat the house until I could buy a blower from Grainger. Bought the blower and installed it myself. Problem resolved for only $140. This experience really makes me wonder how many other people that gotten over on.

They didn't pressure us into purchasing anything we didn't need, and the price charged was reasonable. The plumber was knowledgable, friendly, thorough, and neat. It took about 40 minutes to diagnose the problem, and another hour or so to repair. He took pictures and documented everything that was done, and we had the docs in an email before he pulled out of the driveway.

John was very thorough. He showed me in detail why I was experiencing connectivity issues and fixed the problem ASAP.

The price was pretty reasonable. They didn't have to do much. They set up a date and they came on time. They're always professional, all of them are. They were wonderful. They were great. They were really nice and polite.

Rip off!! Charged $29 to come give an estimate that was ridiculously high. Wanted $550 in LABOR to replace two floodlights on back of house. Not a new installation, just replace existing fixtures. No running wire, just two screws and three wire nuts per fixture. What a joke!!!! I guess the jokes on me for agreeing to pay to get an estimate...

The problem was they charged me way, way too much. They had said they would have to be drilling through the studs in order to run the wire. Instead of taking them three or four hours it took them an hour. They did not make an adjustment to the price and charged me the same price while taking one-third or one-fourth the time. Mainly because they had budgeted for the worse case and it was the easiest case. They did not even offer, being as it was easier, to deduct so much for this. I was unhappy with that. They seemed to know what they were doing and they were responsive. They were right on time.

That did not work at all. Very bad experience, until I had to call them and ask them to come and pick it up. I didn't pay them anything cause they didn't get finished. They called the electrician and he never approved it because everything in that box was wrong. They were going to burn my house down. So I haven't paid them, they came and got their stuff. Because the electrician came out twice and the electrical stuff that they done it still wasn't finished. They couldn't get it right. So the electrician told me that if that thing was to come on then it would burn my house down.

This company first told me that they were a premium company (what ever that means). I am well aware that they were trying to price condition me to a high price. When he gave me the price of $289 for installing the new faucett even though they weren't supplying any parts, I almost dropped my teeth. I immediately told the service tech no way was I going to pay that for a 15-30 minute job . He then proceeded to ask how much I was willing to pay. I said I would pay $100 plus the $29 dollar trip charge that they charged. He said his boss would not go that low . I then thanked him for his time and ended the conversation. I would never call this company again for any service work. I also would never refer any one I know to this company as well. I now will get someone that I have done business with before

His estimate was very high compared to the ones that I got locally. It was not even a written one. He was courteous and did a quick job.

Horrible! They did know what they were doing and they didn't have a clue. They just came in here and started replacing things and after about $800 I finally said, get out and I fixed it myself. They didn't seem to know anything about the unit. They called the company a couple of times and I called the company and talked to one of their ladies on the phone and explained to them what was happening. They sent me a new motherboard and I put it in and it worked fine. I would not recommend them to someone else. The tech they sent out was very polite, he was very nice but they just didn't have a clue. They sent another tech here to help him and he didn't do any better, so I just have to assume they are not very competent.

The service was very good. I like the technician I had. He did a good job. He seemed like he knew what he was doing. While he was here, a lot of the other technicians called him and asked him for advice. So, I thought probably that he is the better one. The price was good. I was satisfied. My hot water heater is still heating. They got here basically when they said they were. I probably would use them again in the future if I needed to.

They did a good job. It was the first time I've used them. I would say it was 4.5 out 5. I was satisfied. They were a little pricey.

In my mind they are a bait and switch operation. There going to come out and give you a free quotation on what you need to do but when they get here you have to pay up front ($39.95) for the dispatch fee. Then when they get there, they tell you they can't do anything without doing a diagnostic first and the diagnostic is $150.00. So you spend $190 and you still don't have any work done. I would not recommend them to my friends.

They are very professional. Everything they said they were going to do they did and they even went out of there way to install it on a Saturday.

They were very friendly and also honest and up front about the costs. They went above and beyond, down to each outlet, to make sure that all the electrical was safe. When we discovered a small leak after the visit, they returned the same day to reinforce the plumbing with a better material, at no extra cost.

A technician wasn't able to come out until Sunday, which was no big deal. The tech arrived and promptly climbed up and began looking at the ceiling fan that wasn't working. After about 20 minutes he let us know that the receiver in the fan had gone bad. He came back with 3 quotes. The lowest was around $500 and the most expensive was $1300. This is a Home Depot ceiling fan, not a precious antique. The fan is only 5 years old and the electrical is also 5 years old. The tech wanted to put in a system wide surge protector and run new electrical wiring and put in a new light switch and have us sign up for their maintenance plan. We turned down all of his offers and just had him wire the fan to the electrical and bypass the transmitter. Even after we turned down his three estimates, he spent 20 minutes of our Sunday afternoon and quot;sellingand quot; his service. The cost of a brand new ceiling fan is less than $100. A replacement transmitter from HD was only $35. Our tech was polite and friendly, but we wanted an honest evaluation and repair, not a hard sell on services we didn't need.
