The Metropolitan Moving LLC TEAM of guys are AWESOME! They are AMAZINGLY STRONG, VERY PATIENT, KIND, CAREFUL, FLEXIBLE, HARD WORKING and ACCOMMADATING! They seriously went ABOVE and BEYOND the call of duty! I have great respect for the work a good moving company does having been present to see the crew wrap anything fragile, carefully pack, box, lift, load, unload and place everything where I wished to have it. Because this moving company also does staging, I was able to get their professional advice and recommendations on where to place furniture I was unsure about. They even went as far as to organize my garage by placing boxes by category that I wanted to gradually unpack by room. I am so appreciative of the work Joe and his incredible team of guys did to get me successfully moved into my new house and would ask them to move me again, IF I ever need to! These movers are very professional and were very careful with all our items which included antiques. Their pricing is very reasonable and the Angies List discount made it more so! I would highly recommend Joe and his team to anyone making a move.

It was a long day for all of us, but Joe and his three man crew could not have been better to work with. We made it as efficient as possible, tagging things that needed to go to each location, and had a little fun along the way. Joe's team even found a way to neatly stack the leftover items in my garage so that I could continue to park my car in the garage, which I didn't think was possible. We had one minor snafu near the end of the day, but Joe and his team kept a great attitude, and worked thru the issue. We had a lot of family antiques and they handled them with the care and attention we desired. I would definitely call Joe and his team again for my next move and recommend them to anyone.

Both moves went smoothly. Unfortunately, due to employees being ill, there was a little delay in start time but Joe kept us informed and compensated us at end of move. Crew was very polite and worked well together. I would recommend this company and would use it if we move again. Sorry I didn't get to write this sooner but due to move we had to wait for internet/cable which we got today.All in all, it was a successful experience.

All I can say is these guys were professional and courteous! Even with the heavy rain they were able to get everything moved in for us. The only draw back was there was some confusion about where the pick up was and we hadn't talked about payment options prior. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, no scratches, dings or dents on any of our furniture or walls.

Overall Excellent. Would use again. Would highly recommend. The size of our move resulted in two trucks. One the company has that they carry blankets and equipment. The second they rented. There were some delays in picking up this rental truck so they arrived late. They easily made up for this lost time through the day. Overall finish time was still better than expected. Through all the moves there was but one chip of paint/drywall. The mover quickly ran to tell me about this. Given the size and complexity of the move I was delighted this was the only ding. Being told about it rather than having to discover it later hints at their integrity. The big demonstration of their integrity came in a separate incident. There was one other mishap that could have been considered major. When using a dolly to set down a small two drawer filing cabinet the wheels on this particular cabinet took over. It did a nosedive down concrete apartment stairs. The movers located an identical filing cabinet online, purchased it and had it shipped to me!

It went well! Three men showed up. They were very nice and professional. I was changing rooms of furniture around in my house, and had some heavy pieces of furniture. The men handled everything like the pros they are. I definitely would use this company again and have mentioned the name to my friends.

I hired Metropolitan Moving to move my Real Estate office. Joey came out to the office, and quickly provided us with a written estimate. The move was scheduled, and everything went great. They showed up at the old office with 4 guys, and 2 trucks. They got everything looked up quickly with no issues. It was even raining outside. They then got everything moved to the new office, and set up properly. They didn't leave until they confirmed that everything was where we wanted it, and that we were happy with everything they had done. These guys go above and beyond to make sure that your move goes well. I will absolutely use them again, and recommend then to anyone else that needs a mover. Thanks guys!

Called Joe from Metropolitan Moving to see what the price would be for moving one extremely heavy wine cabinet from the 2nd floor down to the garage. He advised me that there is a minimum charge of two hours regardless of it being a single piece. He also let me know that if we wanted it done they could do it on Saturday in the afternoon. (The next day). I didn't decide right away but called him back after an hour or so and left a message that we would like to go ahead. Joe called me back in a few hours and said they had a cancellation and could do it immediately. Joe and two other gentlemen arrived within 45 minutes and immediately went to work. They took great care with the wine chest which weighed a ton and also moved a 5 drawer metal lateral cabinet which was also heavy and a wooden table as well. They were expedient, friendly and very courteous and I would hire them back in a heartbeat.

To be honest, I was surprised when I paid the bill. I quoted the price with the other companies before we used Metropolitan Moving. Every company gave me around $600-800. We moved from uptown 2b2b condo,including one storage unit to a house which is about 8 miles away. Three guys with a perfect size truck used three and half house to finish all the job. Very careful, very professional and fast. The moving day was over 90 degree and they are all sweated. But that didn't change any bit of the moving speed. I truly thanks for their help. They charged as $100 per hour(don't forget to print out the 10% coupon which makes the price drop to $90). Really nice service and fair price you can found in Charlotte area. Please, please remember to tip the guys. They are definitely worth it.

we loved this service, would call this mover again in a minute. Price was very reasonable, the minimum charge is much less than the other companies I checked with. The guys were on time and professional, very careful not to damage anything wall etc. brought blankets with them to cover things up and wrapped door frames with a protective blanket. GREAT JOB

I called 2 movers for a quote and Joey's quote was several hundred dollars less. I easily set up a date for the move. Arrived promptly on the day of the move. Brought a crew of 3 men. They were all polite, friendly and hard workers. Absolutely nothing was damaged in the move. Very good experience. Would defiantly recommend them and use them again.

I spoke with Joe and believed to book him and his crew for our move. When I called back to confirm he stated a text message was not received and as such he could not move us as he booked another client for the date we reserved. I believe Joe was slightly confrontational and unprofessional.

Joe Reece and his crew did an excellent job with our move. They were on time, friendly, polite, helpful and kind. They were careful and respectful of our furnishings and belongings. And they knew how to pack a truck! And at the end of the day, when we had two stops to unload at storage units, they put their packing skills to use and made the best use of the storage unit space. I interviewed three moving companies for this job. I chose Joe because he asked the right questions and easily figured out the complicated logistics of the move...long narrow driveway, taking furnishings to storage from both our current home and our new home. Even before I hired him, Joe gave us added value by advising me to purchase furniture blankets to cover and protect our furniture in storage. He gave me the company and location of where to purchase the best and most reasonably price blankets. He provided the plastic bags to cover our mattresses that we put into storage. We appreciated Joe's flat rate binding quote. His quote was in line with the other quotes I received but his was the only flat rate.

Excellent experience. Joe was able to schedule a date I needed with just a few weeks notice. The crew arrived promptly as scheduled. The 3-man crew worked efficiently, they were friendly and courteous, and they were very careful with the furniture. They had a difficult time fitting all the furniture in the storage unit but they did not give up. They worked hard to get it all in and eventually they found a way. I will be moving again soon to a new home and will definitely use Metropolitan again.

It went great. These guys worked on my move on 3 separate days - at my request. First they moved everything from a house I sold in to storage. Prior to closing on my new house, we bought some new furniture. They went and picked that up from the furniture store for me, and added it to storage. Finally, they moved me in to my new house. Both houses had hardwood floors. I made it clear that I didn't want them scratched, and Joey made sure that the floors and walls were taken care of. I moved in to a brand new house, and they made sure they took great care of it. The entire team was great, and everything went well. I would absolutely recommend them.
