The guys did a great job, great to deal with and honest sales staff. Everyone cared for and protected our belonging as if it was their own. Great Job!

The move went extremely smoothly. We were given an estimate by Pat in March. Pat was very professional and personable and the estimate was in line with (and a little cheaper) than the estimates we got from other movers. Her professionalism is what made us decide to use Matthews Moving. They called the day before the move to confirm and to let us know what time the crew would arrive. We packed ourselves except for the kitchen dishes and breakable items. The crew came on time and Joanie went right to work on doing the packing. She was finished in about an hour for a job that would have taken me all day. The men then began the process of loading the trucks. There were 4 guys - Fred, Dylan, Curtis, and Steve - and they all worked very efficiently and quickly. They had our entire house loaded within 3 hours. Then then drove the trucks to the new place, supposedly stopping for lunch, but they must have eaten in a hurry as it didn't take them long to arrive. It took them about 3 hours to unload the trucks and place the items in the rooms they belong in. For each piece of furniture, they asked about the exact placement of it and then followed through. They worked tirelessly, only taking a 5 minute break in the afternoon. Their work ethic is second to none. When we settled the bill at the end of the move, the total came out about $200 less than the estimate because they worked so quickly. They took good care of our items and treated our homes with great respect. If I had another move in my immediate future, I would definitely hire them again.

Excellent - These guys are true professionals with great attention to detail. They took everything apart and put it back together. Nothing was damaged to our knowledge and we have been very pleased. The fact that someone (Pat Taylor) comes out to the property beforehand to see it and provide and estimate for you is worth its weight in gold. You honestly know what you're getting into before you start the move, and she provided us great tips on how to maximize our time with the movers. We will definitely use Matthews Moving Systems again in the future.

Initial call to Matthews Moving put me in touch with Richard. He recommeded a 3 man crew and to pay by the hour. Based on my description over te phone, Richard estimated that it would take about 4 hours.All they needed to schedule was a few days notice for this time of the year. I called back a week later to schedule and Richard was able to accomodate my availability for the following week.The crew showed up as expected and was ready to begin at 9 am. We finished at 1 pm...in 4 hours with all my furniture placed in the designated rooms in my new place. No damage to anything in the move and teh crew was very professional the entire time. I have moved 3 times and have used Matthews Moving twice. The one move inwhich i did not use Matthews Moving was because I rented my own truck and had the help of friends (which I won't do again!) and both times Matthews Moving has been a pleasure to work with.

Went well.They showed up on time with a crew of 4, were very courteous and respectful. They moved us over two days. Only had one very minor dent on the stairwell wall which was excellent considering they moved over 3900 SF or furniture and boxes and misc.. They took care to wrap each piece of furniture with either plastic wrap or pads BEFORE they took it out of the house which helped to minimize any damage. They also went above and beyond normal load, unload and delivery by doing two "drop-offs" for some very heavy furniture which we sold to two other people outside the neighborhood. Because the people who bought the furniture had no way to move these heavy pieces, Matthews crew said they could do it. Only charged us an additional fee for the two drop-offs and deliveries. No damages to contents and no missing items that we can tell (still living out of boxes). Will use them again. Price is reasonable. Pat Taylor (estimator) was a delight and she was right on about needing two days for the move. Other competitors said we could do it all in one long day. No way! Two were definitely needed.

From the time I called for an estimate to the end of the move, my experience was excellent. The account manager, Richard, was so friendly and helpful. I received a very fair estimate, which was true to the final price. The company gave me some used boxes at no cost. The movers showed up on time on both days. They were very friendly and professional and were very careful with my belongings. When they were moving me into my new house, my elderly mother took a terrible fall and we had to call 911. The movers offered to help in any way they could and stayed out of the way of the emergency personnel. I can't say enough about how wonderful this company is!

Pat, who did our estimate, was very accomodating as we were on a tight time schedule. She arrived early for her appointment, and got the estimate back to us in a very timely fashion. We wanted to have delivery the same day as pickup (the houses were approximately 85 miles apart) which the company was able to do. On moving day, the movers got lost - they had directions from MapQuest which may have been the problem - so arrived almost 2 hours after their scheduled arrival time. To make sure we could finish the move that day, the company sent a 3rd person to load the truck which we really appreciated. The men were very careful with both our furniture and boxes, and did not damage either our goods or the walls in either the house we were moving out of or the one we were moving into. They were also very polite and courteous, even when under time pressure and hot and sweaty from working on a 90 degree day moving heavy stuff. I would definitely use this moving company again, and this is the only moving company I've used that I would say that about.

What a wonderful company. These guys are the best. They came out on time, wrapped and protected everything and loaded up without stopping it seemed like. Hard workers!! Quickly unloaded the truck into our new apartment.They came back the next day to remove the rest of the household and place it in their storage facility. They carefully wrapped all furniture. All glass was wrapped with padding. The cloth furniture was shrink wrapped. Everything was carefully placed into the large warehouse storage crates. Could not ask for a better experience, we are waiting for the bill for the storage.

I can't say enough great things about Matthews Moving. I contacted Matthews Moving about a month before our move - we were closing on two houses in one day and trying to organize the packing and delivery of our items was not easy. Michael G. was very hepful and patient and we talked through our options - and even helped make a last minute change! The crew showed up early on 6/27 and had everything from our 3-bedroom, 2-bath ranch home loaded in less than three hours. Not only were they timely, but they were professional and courteous as well. We were closing on two homes on 6/28 and they were scheduled to deliver our goods to the new home at 2 p.m. We got stuck at the closing of the new home and didn't get to the house until 2:30, but the crew was very understanding and had the truck unloaded in less than three hours. As a military brat, I've moved around a lot, and these are some of the best movers you can work with. I highly recommend Matthew Moving!

They are very courteous when I call them. They are professional, they don’t scratch up any walls, and they give an honest quote that is what it is at the end of the move. They are really nice people. I certainly would use them again; I don’t even get quotes from other people. I’m sure I could find a cheaper mover but when I find a good provider, I like to use them.

The packing was notorious. They just took stuff out of drawers and dumped it in big boxes, it was the biggest mess you've ever seen. We're still trying to get it straightened out. They put different parts of lamps in different boxes, they broke things, I've called and they've never come out to fix it.

I have been there when they gave the quotes and they were very timely and helpful.

They were very professional, very nice, and very proficient. We have no complaints. They did a great job! They packed everything on a Thursday and we had everything moved in our new home by Sunday.

They were excellent. Just professional. They come out and do a quote where they assess the room, furniture and pieces. They give you documents of their process. Their movers are very professional. They are quick and fast and it was an easy move and I would use them again.

They helped me move my mother into an assisted living place and then another assistant living community. They have a relationship with these communicates. They are really good at keeping the senior residents happy during the move and follow the community rules.

They were awesome. They packed up and took everything and we didn't have to do anything. Nothing broke, and they pick up boxes when you are done. They were great.

Movers picked up boxes and furniture on Saturday to move into my new home on Monday after I closed with the bank. They held the contents of the truck over 2 nights, as they didn't work on Sundays. On Monday, they unloaded the truck and also unloaded a large storage POD that we had delivered to our new home. The guys were quick, professional and very, very funny. They kept me laughing! We had several large pieces of furniture and they didn't complain a bit. They were done so quickly that the final price came in under quote! We had called several companies for quotes and Matthews Moving came in under everyone else, plus they waived the fee for holding the contents of the truck overnight. When the actual price was under quote, I felt like I really got a terrific deal. They handled all of our antiques with great care, and everything survived perfectly. I will definitely hire these guys again for any moving jobs I have, and highly recommend them.

I thought they did a fantastic job as far as sorting my items and delivering. They were on time, courteous, and very helpful. I moved back to the States from Europe and they were very helpful in gettting my items back into the country.

The move went great ! They showed up on time, called ahead. finished the move effortlessly and fast. I felt at ease to be working with such professional people. They came in with the attitude that we are here to make everything work just the way you like it. I was addressed as Ms. Maring and ask questions. I'd give these guys a big 10.

They did a great job. However, they gave me only 30 boxes, if I have not moved most of the stuff myself, it would not be enough. I would suggest to request more boxes or get more yourself. I had two small claims which were addressed immediately. The price we agreed upon was the final price upon delivery, no gimmicks, no surprises.

Good experience. They were professional and cautious. There was a breakage that ocurred but the company was very responsive in sending in the insurance paperwork for reimbursement

Best money I ever spent. They knew what they were doing and were able to move heavy furniture up and down stairs without injury to themselves, the furniture or the house in a safe and expiditious manner.
