Amazing in every way. The Marygrove awning with the bonus of LED lighting built in and an extra vertical sun shade at the front extremity exceeds my expectations. The best part is their staff, from sales to installation. Highly responsive, professional and terrific people. Highly recommend.

I had a 12x10 awning installed on May 25th. When I extended it today, I noticed one side was noticeably lower. Upon further inspection, I noticed It is literally not bolted into studs and falling off the wall surface. That’s right, less than 2 weeks afterwards, I learned the awning isn’t bolted in properly and there are at least 2 bolts now more than an inch removed from the wall causing it to slump down on one side. It is no longer usable. Unfortunately, I have no faith in the product’s installation team and will be seeking a full refund and look at another solution so no further damage can be done. I did enjoy the product itself but once I give a vote of no confidence, I am done.
Update as of 6/24/2024:
After the technicians returned to remove the awning, I was convinced it could be installed on the roof. That the failure on the side was likely due to a blowout of the bolts from 2 studs...and that the blowout was likely because of water damage.
Fast forward to Saturday June 22, 2024. This delay was due in part to one of the 2 technicians allegedly quitting. Nevertheless, I was given of window of 1-3pm. One of the technicians from previous install arrived along with a new technician and installed on the roof. Everything seemed to be going well. I was called out to take a look at the new install and provided the technician the bar used to adjust the pitch or manually operate in case of power outage and went back inside. Within 30 seconds of providing the bar, I witnessed the technician adjusting the pitch on one side by rotating quickly via my backdoor ring camera and one of the arms snapped off. Notably, the technician rotated between 10 and 13 times.....at the conclusion of those rotations, the arm on the side being rotated snapped off of the front bracket where the arm attaches. The entire event of the rotations and arm snap are recorded on Ring Video. At no time did I observe the tech make a phone call about it afterwards....nor did he inform me that anything was wrong. In either case, it took maybe another 30 minutes to reattach the arm. However, what I noticed this time was the technician didn't try adjusting the pitch again. Eventually, he called me out again and assured me everything was good to go without mentioning the arm snapping off. So, I asked if the arm could snap off again if I attempted to adjust the pitch and he responded indicating that it wouldn't happen as long as I didn't adjust too quickly and also adjusted the other side. So I accepted what he said as an honest assessment and the installers proceeded to collect their things and leave. Long story short, damage resulted from the arm snapping off and the technican tried to leave without letting me or Marygrove know about it. He voided the warranty and was willing to leave so I could take the fall for what he did.

Joeleen,
We love the frame color and fabric choice you picked! The front screen also adds a nice touch to block out any late afternoon sun!
