Maid in Heaven

Worker did not pay attention to the small details. Rooms vacuumed, but corners and area next to floorboards weren't. kitchen and bathrooms were mopped, laundry room was not. Asked worker to clean out microwave, this was not done, but worker made beds, which was not on my list. Minimum 3 hours for visit. it didn't appear that worker completed three hours worth of work.

They do vacuuming, clean my bathroom and kitchen. They also do dusting and general cleaning. They have always done a good job. They are reliable and adjust their schedule very well according to my requirements. The quality of their work is very good and I have been satisfied with their service.

I was referred to Maid In Heaven by several friends who had used them in the past. One has used them for years, the other was a new customer. Initially (2007) they started out great they were professional and responsive on the phone and the folks they sent to clean, showed up exactly on time and did a good job. Then for my appointment in December (a week before Christmas) they just didn't show up. I called the office and no one answered nor did anyone call me back. They basically stopped answering their phones for the months of December through early February in 2008. They started coming on different days each month rather than my normal scheduled day. Then they just stopped coming altogether. A couple friends of mine, who had referred me, were getting the same bad service. Then one day after a couple months they called to confirm my appointment out of the blue, like nothing had ever happened. I explained my displeasure with their service and told them I would give them 1 more chance. They started coming for a few months on schedule. Then last month they showed up in the middle of the day. My appointment has always been first thing in the morning, so I could let them in. They never performed well enough to get a key. After that, I was done. Given all of the issues with the folks in the main office and the fact that their cleaning was average, it is just not worth the drama they put me through. I stopped recommending them to friends, as several came back with horror stories. I won't use them again.

I thought they were OK but not great. I had problems with the home office. I think someone in the office wasn't keeping track of appointments. They have missed some.

They always arrive promptly. Cleaning can be VERY detailed, so it might be good to have a list of what you hope to accomplish from their visit or else you could end up with just an immaculate kitchen.

I had to ask the cleaner to go back and redo things several times. They were still not done as they should had been. The toilets were not cleaned, the floor of the shower stall was not cleaned, the furn in the master bedroom was not dusted, top of TV was not dusted, top of fridge is still dirty, hanging fixtures were not touched, baseboards were not touched and I could go on and on. I called the company and spoke with Diane on the day after to explain all the things that were overlooked in the 7 hours. She was going to "check her schedule and see when they could come out to fix the problem". I called 5 times on Friday (the day before a holiday weekend) and never received a returned phone call at the number where she knew I would be as I stated on 4-5 messages. She called my home at 2:57 which was 3 min before the office was closing for the holiday weekend when she knew I wasn't at that number. I have called today 3 times and still no returned phone call.

We called to get an estimate for a whole-house cleaning for a friend, who was having a baby. Beth answered the call and was able to give me a thorough estimate, based on our conversation. The price she quoted on the first call, is the price we paid. When our friend was scheduled to be induced, I called and left a message to try to schedule something that week. I did not hear back by the next day, so I left another message. I did get a call back then and Beverly came out the next day. When our friends came home with their new baby, their house was sparkling clean. We will be scheduling follow ups with Maid in Heaven.

I was very pleased and will definitely use them again. Both ladies were very conscientious and hard-working. The work was excellent.

Maid in Heaven returned my calls quickly; they scheduled weekend hours for me; the phone contact & follow-up were highly professional. The actual workers were cheerful, friendly & extremely competent. I would definitely use them again!

We waited two hours and the maid did not show so we called the company to find out what was going on and if the person was late and/or lost. Well, the company was closed and there was no weekend/evening number to call. Four hours later, the maid still had not shown. We called again, left another message. The maid never did come to clean the house and never called to tell us either. The company called us on Monday afternoon (2 days after we left the message) and apologized, blah blah blah, and wanted us to reschedule. We said "no, thanks" and have no plans to ever try and use this company again.

The service has been very inconsistent - at times it is excellent, then the next week very poor. Beth returns calls promptly, but the service consistency has not improved. Crew is inconsistent and changes frequently which may contribute to the inconsistency of the work. Employees have broken items several times, and Beth is hesitant to reimburse. Service missing the basics such as taking out trash, mopping floors. I would not recommend this service as you cannot depend on getting your money's worth.

Maid in Heaven charges $25 an hour, which is very reasonable. Everything sparkled. She brought her own equipment & took out the trash at the end. She was very friendly & professional, & I trusted her completely in my home.

THEY ARE A GREAT SERVICE AND THEY HAVE GREAT FOLLOW-UP. THEY CALL AFTER EVERY TIME THEY CLEAN TO MAKE SURE I'M SATISFIED.

I have scheduled this cleaning service to come to my home every 2 weeks. They are on time, polite, and hard working. They arrive on time. They bring their own cleaning supplies and vacuums. The day before they are scheduled to come, I receive a phone call from the owner. Within a day or 2 I receive another phone call to make sure that I am pleased with their work.

BATHROOMS: DID NOT CLEAN TOILETS, SMEARED MIRRORS WITH DIRTY RESIDUE; DID NOT MOVE ANYTHING ON COUNTERS TO CLEAN; LIVING AND BEDROOMS: NOTHING DUSTED; VACUUMED ONLY IN MIDDLE OF FLOOR; BASEBOARDS, BLINDS, WINDOWS UNTOUCHED; KITCHEN: DID NOT CLEAN STOVE/OVEN AS AGREED; BROKE ANTIQUE MIRROR; OVERALL: CONFINED PETS WITHOUT PERMISSION; REFUSED TO PAY FOR DAMAGES; TOOK PICTURES OF INTERIOR OF HOME WITHOUT PERMISSION; THREATENED TO "TELL NEIGHBORS I WAS A PIG."

A VERY PROFESSIONAL COMPANY, ON TIME, AND ALSO FINISHED ON TIME.

THE PRICE IS REASONABLE. THE MANAGEMENT IS ALWAYS RESPONSIVE TO MY CALLS AND PROMPT ABOUT SCHEDULING SERVICE. THE MANAGEMENT ALWAYS CALLS THE NEXT DAY TO FOLLOW UP ON SERVICE PROVIDED.

THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE AVOIDED BY ALL MEMBERS. THE CLEAN WAS APPALLING AND THEY WOULD NOT COME BACK TO RE-CLEAN. THE MANAGEMENT WERE SURLY. I MADE A MISTAKE OF PAYING IN CASH FOR THE FIRST CLEAN SO THEY COULD JUST WALK AWAY WITH IT AND HAVE NO FURTHER RESPONSIBILITY. PS ALL THE MAID COMPANIES QUOTED ME $60 FOR THE WORK - I GUESS IT IS THE GOING RATE.

JOB WAS WELL DONE. BUSINESS WAS ABLE TO SCHEDULE SERVICE WHEN I REQUESTED. HOUSEKEEPER WAS POLITE, EFFICIENT, AND FRIENDLY.

THEY ALWAYS CALL TO CONFIRM THAT THEY ARE COMING. SHES ALWAYS ON TIME AND SHE DOES A GREAT JOB. THEY ALSO CALL AFTERWARDS TO VERIFY MY SATISFACTION WITH THEIR SERVICE.

WOULD CERTAINLY HIRE THEM AGAIN. FOUND THEIR PRICES REASONABLE. WILL COME OUT FOR A ONE-TIME CLEANING. CHARGE $25.00 HR WITH A 3 HR MINIMUM.

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE FOLLOW UP OF THE COMPANY, THEY CALLED RIGHT BACK AT THE END OF THE DAY TO CHECK ON MY SATISFACTION. THE GIRL THAT DID THE CLEANING WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING AND TRIED SO HARD. BUT IT JUST SEEMED AS THOUGH SHE DIDNT REALLY KNOW HOW TO CLEAN SOME OF THE DIFFERENT SURFACES. SHE SEEMED UNFAMILIAR WITH SOME OF THE MORE MODERN SURFACES. BUT OTHERWISE SHE WAS VERY GOOD. SHE CLEANED VERY FAST AND SEEMED TO BE VERY TRUSTWORTHY, AND SHE DID TRY HER BEST TO PLEASE. GOOD WORK~

I AM SELLING A CONDO IN 2 DAYS. MAID IN HEAVEN WAS PAID TO CLEAN AN EMPTY CONDO PRIOR TO CLOSING INCLUDING FLOORS, WOOD TRIM, BLINDS, REFRIGERATOR. THE WALK THROUGH WAS TODAY AND THE BUYER CALLED AND SAID THERE WERE COBWEBS ON TRIM, CEILING FANS DIRTY, BLINDS WERE DIRTY, AND THE REFRIGERATOR WAS NOT CLEANED. MAID TO ORDER WAS CONTACTED AND SAID THEY WERE AWARE OF ISSUE, BUT RAN OUT OF TIME. THEY ALSO ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE CALLED WITH ISSUES, BUT FAILED TO DO SO. THEY AGREED THEY WOULD GO BACK AT 4:00 TODAY TO RECLEAN. I WORK OUT OF TOWN AND COULDN''T BE THERE TO LET THEM IN. THEY WOULD NOT ADJUST SCHEDULE TO CLEAN BEFORE CLOSING IN TWO DAYS. ASKED FOR A REFUND, TOLD NO. ASKED TO MEET ME TOMORROW TOLD NO AND OWNER LAUGHED. I WANT MY $120 BACK SINCE I WILL NO LONGER OWN CONDO NEEDING CLEANING AND THE CLEANING WAS NOT PERFORMED.

I'M VERY PICKY THOUGH AND NOT EVERYONE SHE SENDS TO ME MEETS MY EXPECTATIONS.
