Bad! Luvall was to begin the job 7:30 AM. When they didn't show I called the company. I was told because of the weather, they were not going to start until 10:30 AM. When they didn't show at 10:30, I again called the company. I was told they are on their way. Now, it is 11:30AM, no Luvall and no phone call to let me know there might had been a delay. I called Luvall again. The office clerk put me on hold while she called the project manager. The office clerk then assured me they were on their way. Now it is 12:30, no Luvall, no phone call. I called Luvall and left a voice mail. I had been waiting since 10:30 for Luvall to show up only to be told they are on their way. Luvall finally showed up at 1PM. By then, I was upset for being told they are on their way. The project manager told me he couldn't help that because he didn't tell me that. No I only spoke to his office staff. I guess he is saying his office staff are liars. Make sure you get what you paid for. The contract said two coats of sealant. I questioned why he wasn't applying two coats. His explanation was because he used really thick sealant. I later learned, after talking with other asphalt professionals, it is always best not to apply two thin coats of sealant then one thick coat. The sealant will last longer then the thick coat. The contract stated their were several faulty spots of asphalt the needed to be saw cut, filled with asphalt, then rolled with the roller. I questioned the project manager because he only marked three spots that were bad. We were charged for several spots. To make up the difference for the charges, he upgraded three speed bumps with extra asphalt. By now, the job is almost complete, when I questioned the cracks that were supposed to be filled with crack fill. The project manager said that was going to cost extra. I explained it was in the contract to do 4000 linear feet of cracks. He said he didn't know anything about that and would have to call the office. After confirming with the office, he proceeded to fill the cracks. After returning the next day to check out the project I discovered what was beautiful parking lots and streets when I left was now marked up with squiggly lines. Very ugly!! I called Luvall to find out when the crew was returning to put sealant on the cracks. I was told the job was completed. I questioned the project manager about the sealant. His explanation was the sealant was applied before the cracks were repaired so sealant after the cracks were repaired wasn't necessary. I told him I spoke to a gentleman at a different asphalt supplier then he used. Because he never heard of the company and because they were not local, he couldn't believe that company. This company is very large with several locations. One location is Greensboro. Every company that I spoke to said the cracks are suppose to be done before the sealant. And, yes, it will make a difference if he applied the sealant after filling the cracks with crack fill. So BEWARE!!!! Make sure you are getting what you paid for in your contract. Be prepared to supervise the job yourself every step of the way.

The driveway is elevated & crumbling in several places & grass is growing out of it. Don stated to me not to have a truck drive on it for 7 days. I have proof that the first truck to drive on it was 14 days later. Continuous communication with Don has never been so frustrating. He promised to come back to fix the problem but has never returned. I last texted him on 7/13/16 that if he was too busy, he could return what I paid in full and he would be off the hook. His response by text back to me was, "I am not on the hook!"
Description of Work: I hired Luvall Asphalt Services on April 11, 2016. I dealt with Don who charged me to cut, remove & replace my 2200 sq. ft driveway. I have never been so disappointed & disgusted now 4 months later realizing this job was not performed per standard and becomes more of a liability daily! It is evident that there was no crush & run laid beneath it. This job was performed when I was out of town and it is evident nothing was laid underneath the new driveway.
