Do not purchase any appliances from Lowes. I placed an order to have all my kitchen appliances measured thru Lowes. For 10 days, my wife and I did not get a phone call from anyone to measure the appliances. According to Lowes, R&R Plumbing (Indian Trail, NC) lost the order to measure the appliances. R&R Plumbing is the sub-contractor for Lowes who measure and install the appliances. I spoke with Mr. William Reardon (President) of R&R Plumbing. He was rude, arrogant, loud and threaten to ?blow me up.? Frankly, I am afraid Mr. Reardon could retaliate against me. Mr. Reardon stated that our telephone conversation was recorded. I am requesting that Lowes send me a copy of this (so called) recorded conversation between Mr. Reardon and myself. I am positive nothing will come of my request. As far as I am concerned, Lowes is totally responsible for all of their sub-contractors. On Angie?s List, R&R Plumbing has an overall Grade F on 8% of their reviews. We had a wonderful experience. All their work has been very good. They were all great people to work with. They did an excellent job. I had no problems whatsoever.

Lowes acted as a intermediary for a plumbing contractor to install a vanity and sink. Their price was high on the installation and they did not inspire confidence. The Lowe's products themselves seemed fine.

Very professional, three men came at agreed upon time, did job quickly, quietly, in and out. No muss, no fuss. Very pleased. The reason I said the quality was just a B, was because I ordered very inexpensive carpet, nothing to do with Lowes itself.

I use them all the time. They are fine. I like the convenience because they are close by.

Lowe’s was excellent as far as quality of the carpet, the sales that sort of thing where I had the hiccup was in the installation. They didn’t put the stairs in right and it took months for them to reorder it and come back and reinstalled the stairs. It’s Lowe’s installer fault. I don’t know if this is a fair evaluation because you’re talking about Lowe’s and then use a completely different guy or company to do the installation job so it’s two completely different reviews so I don’t want to downgrade Lowe’s for the installation. The installation wasn’t good. I don’t know if you can even just put that in there or not. I think you do need to put something down there about the install because when you buy at Lowe’s you getting their installation whatever they use. Lowe’s did an excellent job. It was good quality product but their installer sucks. Lowe’s did a good job but they have a lousy installer and they might have fixed it by now I don’t know but based on my experience they had so basically if you’re evaluating Lowe’s everything gets an “A” except for their poor installation.

The carpet is great and I am extremely happy with it. The install was not that great and I had to have the stairs redone. Whenever I called Lowe's about the install, they made sure to follow up with it to make sure I was happy with it.

The redemption went well.

Efficient, prompt, and satisfactory. One year later, it looks good and there have been no problems--

Cylinder exchange is little more expensive than getting it refilled but I prefer to do it.

They were competent, courteous, and worked hard, did a great job, and cleaned the debris from the work. They called several times to be sure the work was done as scheduled and was well done.

We were delighted with all aspects of this transaction and would recommend Lowe's carpet dept. on South Blvd. to anyone looking for new carpet.
