Description of Work: Len Wisnniewski, Len's Custom Paint was paid $3800 in half payment, to prepare walls and paint 5 rooms in empty house. Wisniewski sanded and patched in intervals to equal about a day's work, left job and would not return money or phone calls. I have now spent additional money filing suit trying to collect. He had two months to do work; he claims that he was "effectively" fired because when other painters were haired at the last minute before I had to move in house. I consider someone who will not return phones and doesn't do the work as "walking off the job" - not one stroke of paint was put down by him. A little patching was done. Beware of this guy. This I swear to.

Description of Work: I wanted painting done before I moved in house, and I was out-of-state. He wanted half of money $3800.00. He wouldn't returns calls. Paid another painter $9600 because had to paint on Christmas Holidays. Will sue Len Wisniewski of Denver, NC, in small claims court.-Caused trouble & extra money

+ -1 moreIt went pretty bad. They took a considerable amount of time to complete the job. The final product was not very good. They were very difficult to get ahold of and they requested most of the money up front. I would not recommend this contractor. The dry wall was very uneven and the paint doesn't match the existing paint. They even got paint on appliances that were near where they were painting. Debree was even left on the premises after the job. It was just very shotty work.
Description of Work: They performed painting and drywall work.
