Labor Panes of Charlotte

Extremely sloppy installation. Terrible. Significant rework will be needed on my part to fix. Some roofing damage done during installation. Good product (the guard system itself), horrific service and installation. Seem to take the approach of if you can’t see it easily the homwowner will have no idea. I wanked the roof so saw it all.

It could not have gone better. We had three estimates and Labor Panes was 20 percent lower than the other two "A" listed providers. The three-person crew of polite, well-groomed and immensely professional and very careful window cleaners showed up on time and worked non-stop until the job was done, finishing hours earlier than the estimated time we were given. We'll use them again for sure.

Cleaning the deck was not included in the estimate for pressuring washing, so I had to have them come back a second time and pay more for them to do that. Storm windows...in the fine print it says they will clean sills, rims, etc for an additional fee. Not once did the person who gave me the estimate or did the FIVE employees mention that they were only doing windows. I still have mold around the windows. Had a known they weren't going to do it, I would have done it myself while the storms were out of the windows. I called and they offered to send someone out, but I don't want to pay an additional fee. Make sure you know exactly what you are paying for.

It all went as expected (I have used them before and was very pleased). The crew was friendly, professional and very much wanting to answer any questions I may have had. Before they started work, they asked if there were any special issues that they needed to be aware of. I felt that my house and shed were in good hands! After they finished, we walked around and inspected their work. My house looked fresh and newly painted (when actually I will need a new paint job in a year or so!). I appreciate the more gentle "Soft Touch" cleaning as opposed to a high-pressure wash.

They follow up and send e-mails if I need service.

They do a really good job. I usually get it done twice a year. They've been real punctual about being here. The first people I had, when they cleaned the gutters, they just threw all the stuff off the side of the house. These guys brings bags up with them, and they put what they take out of the gutters into the bags and they haul it off. The first people just kind of threw it off the house.

I have used Labor Panes twice now and both times have been amazing. The office team (specifically Liz) has been extremely prompt with responses and has, in both instances, worked with moving their schedule around to accommodate my needed times. Joe was very prompt with showing up on site and was extremely friendly and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Labor Panes for any needed serviced.

Several areas of the house were missed and it took two weeks to get them cleaned. Three screens were damaged and were repaired to my satisfaction.

Went well except they did not bag debris but instead let it fall to the ground.

They were prompt to respond, available quickly, professional and thorough.

They did a reasonable job of cleaning the glass (we had to re-do 3 or 4 of about 50 surfaces). My "beef" is not with the workers who came out, but with the business in general. They think if they do a good job of cleaning the glass, it's good enough. To me, the customer, there is a lot more to the job than the glass. A window has a lot of parts, the easiest of which to clean is the glass! Even though we asked for "deep cleaning" (seriously?) of the sills, my wife and I spent a couple of hours cleaning after the workers left. We had already removed and cleaned the screens (also a window part) and I replaced them. I might even have them clean the window glass again, you just need to know they do not do a "turn-key" job. As an almost 70 year old, I need providers that do it all for me. This does not appear to be the business model of this company.

Water in the front of the house kept gushing like a waterfall. The technician had said that the pitch of the roof would make that happen. Last week I had some carpentry work done that required removing a downspout. The contractor found a 2-foot long chunk of debris inside the downspout. By the look and size of the debris, he said that debris had been collecting for over a year. I contacted Labor Panes to discuss this. Was told work is guaranteed for only 30 days and nobody will be coming to check my downspouts. This is completely unacceptable.

They would not honor the $125 ad, even though the house is just below 2,500 sq ft. It's a single story house. They said it would be $150. I consider this false advertising. They said, "It's not a coupon." Really? We will go elsewhere.

This was an unbelievably good experience with this company. Nate Van Valkenburg and his crew were the ultimate professionals. Came on time. Took off their shoes when they came in the house.Did all the inside of the windows at one time, so I could go run errands. Put protective shrouds over our shrubs and moved our potted plants out of the way, and all plants and furniture off the front porch. Very respectful of our property. Added missing screws to storm windows where needed. Washed part of garage even though that was not part of the deal. And they cleaned up after they were through. You could not ASK for a better experience, better service and nicer people.

They've been great. They clean up, don't leave any mess, and they're fast and reliable.

They showed up on time and cleaned the gutters as requested. They were very polite and nice young men.

They were super-professional and did a great job, including pointing out a repair we need in one gutter. They also do window cleanings and will definitely use them for that in the future as I was very impressed by their work.

It went well. The first time they came out it was really too wet so they made a second trip. I was not here for that appointment. I had asked them to blow off the entire roof (over the carport) since anything left on the neighbors side just blows back to my side. When I got home, It looked as though that was not done. But over all I will hire them again.

It went OK, but they weren't that clear in their article. I had them for gutter cleaning, it didn't specify that they don't clean under pre-existing gutter plates. Someone else who had gone up to my roof said that they did a bad job on the cleaning. I had to pay an additional $18 because, I had more footage. I saw some of the stuff that they did clean and I'm not happy with their customer service. The $99 fee was a good price, but if I had known about the additional fee before, I probably wouldn't have bought it. The two men that came out were nice, and helpful. It was the company I'm not too pleased with. They did some stuff, but they could have done more.
