KDS CONSTRUCTION

We had our ups and downs with this company. They did a great job with the actual construction of the deck. The part of the job that is terrible is underneath the boards. They have been out a total of 5 times to waterproof the under side of the boards. Something is not right and they can't figure it out. The bottom of the boards is starting to rot. They were very friendly and treated us very good during this entire process. We failed the quality of their work due to the fact that it is still not fully finished correctly. There were a couple of times where they have shown up quite a bit late. They did at least show up. After all of this, we would still use their services again because of how friendly they are. Also, because of the great job they did on the actual construction of the project.

There were major problems throughout the service and most of their work had to be redone and rewired. I was totally unsatisfied with the people and the way the work was done. It took five months for them to complete their work when it should have only taken a month. I would come home and the workers would just be sitting around not doing any work. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We picked Kevin out of 3 quotes we received based on price and his professionalism in handling the quote. He really listened to us to understand what we wanted. We were very happy with the service we received and would hire this company again for other remodeling projects. The owner, Kevin, is very courteous, honest, and a good worker. He is very flexible and accommodated any requests we made. He promptly responded to any feedback we gave him. He also made sure we were getting the best deal on the supplies that were used, such as kitchen cabinets - and he did not mark up such things, thus reducing our cost.
