The service was great! He was punctual, nice, and very helpful. We will call them again.

My biggest problem was there was one guy on the Junk King truck that kept saying I had used 1/4 of the truck but the other guys kept loading. The guys doing the loading were great and even helped level out the dumpster. So I guess the experience wasn't that bad, but could have been if all the guys agreed with the one on the truck.

Overall, everything went so well, that we agreed to pay him 1000.00 instead of the 800.00 he quoted us, but by the time we met with him to pay him, we gave him the whole 1200.00 and wish we could have given him more. They are an outstanding company with a wonderful owner and we would not hesitate to use them again. Larry & Dorothy Miller

It cost a little more than what the deal was for but they were very professional, on time and they were in and out. They didn’t mark any of the walls up and were very careful in taking it out.

I needed assistance in getting rid of many unusable items. I live in a second floor condo and it would have been difficult for me to handle these items myself. I placed a call to Junk King and they immediately set up an appointment for the following day. I needed a call 30 minutes before their arrival in order to meet them and they were able to accomodate me. Chris and Mark arrived the following day 30 minutes after calling and after seeing what I needed hauled away, gave me a price that I found reasonable. Not only did they quickly haul away the items, they helped reach items in a storage closet that I had been unable to pull out. They were friendly and professional. From the first contact on the phone until the check was written for services, it was a great transaction and I have already recommended Junk King and will use them again myself.

Contacted them by email, responded within a few hours, scheduled pick up at a convenient time for me, driver called before he arrived, gave us a good estimate to haul away our junk, very nice crew that picked up the items. Wish I'd seen the coupon before I called. My fault, not theirs.

Couldn't have been easier. I went online yesterday and scheduled an appointment for today within a 2-hour window in the afternoon, getting an email confirmation.Today, they called when they were a half hour away, got here almost on time (just outside the 2 hour window) and took a look at what I had to be hauled away. They price based on how much of the truck they need for what's being loaded and estimated a 1/4 truckload - that's $188. They got to work loading and were done in just a few minutes. They used at least a 1/4 truck with what I had, I wrote a check for $188, got a receipt and it was done.I'm glad to be rid of that stuff and I'd use this company again.

The whole experience from start to finish was 24 hours. I booked them online, got an appointment time within 2 hours. They called me when on their way, showed up and got the job done. Much less stressful than I thought.

They came exactly when they said they would and removed 'junk' from our garage.

They picked everything up and did a good job. They even made sure to clean up some packing peanuts that were spilled and gave us a discount for being Angie’s List member's.

They were scheduled to come between 4 and 6 pm and called prior to 4 to let me know they were coming. The arrived right at 4 pm which was great. I showed them everything to be hauled and picked up and they gave me the cost. I thought it was very reasonable. They were very courteous, worked very quickly and efficiently. I had things indoors and outdoors and things that no one else would pick up (Salvation Army, ReStore, etc) I had one old sofa that was so heavy I was sure they wouldn't be able to get it out of the house, but they did. They cleaned up afterwards. I had old furniture, rugs, deck furniture, an old treadmill, cabinets, yard waste. the guys were very pleasant despite the 105 degree temperature too!! I was very impressed with Junk King and would recommend them to anyone. I will definitely use them again. It is such a relief to have all that stuff gone!!

Junk King did an excellent job. They were very friendly and professional. They removed the junk and clean up the garage afterwards. We were very pleased and recommend them highly.

Bought an Angie's List coupon for junk removal - I believe it was $59 for $129 worth of junk (1/8 load???). After I started collectig all the junk I wanted to get rid of, then pile started growing and then I decided I might as well get rid of a 50 year-old sofa bed in our bonus room. Part of the deal is that Jumk King will remove the stuff whereever it is, so I didn't have to bring it down. When I hauled it up there I was 17 years younger and vowed that if I ever got rid of it, it was going out the window. 50 years ago, I think they made those things out of cast iron, so you get the picture - IT WAS HEAVY! You pay based on load size, so mine was an extra $90, but well worth it. The only complaint is that they gouged my hardwood floors trying to maneuver the couch. But, hey, it saved my a lot of effort and grief so I don't care. I paid the extra $90 for a larger load plus a tip for each man.

When I initially made the call, the woman on the phone had no clue about the Angie's list deal. If I had to do it over again, I would have gotten an estimate before contracting for the work. I would use the company again since they were nice guys and came when they said they would come. The men were very nice, but changed the price twice. I had purchased two coupons from Angie's list for 1/4 of a truck load ($120). At one point, one of the men said I would need to pay $60 more. I agreed. He came back in 15 minutes and said it would be an additional $30. I decided not to argue, but when I saw the truck, I don't think my things were 2/3 or 3/4 of the truck. About four men were working and were done removing the junk in less than an hour.

Excellent. My only feedback would be that the company should call back and confirm appointment and estimate for pricing before the day it is scheduled.

Probably a good company to call to get rid of an individual item such as a fridge or other appliance. Not so great with demolition type stuff in this case as the employee in charge of picking up our demolished hot tub tried to overestimate/overcharge for the amount of material they would haul away. Additionally, the website stated we were to receive a discount for ordering online and that did not happen at the time of the service. After posting this Angie's list review I received a phone call from the manager who gave his explanation for what I considered to be poor service. The manager stated he would send us a $25 rebate to pay for the discount we should have received for ordering online and we received a rebate check within a couple of weeks.

Fabulous Experience!! I had 4 pieces of very heavy bulky furniture that we did not want anymore. I looked into hiring movers but I did not know how to dispose of it after they got it out of the house and they wanted to charge me $75hr plus a $75 trip charge. I was looking on Angies list and came across the JUNK KING coupon. I called and explained what i needed and the women on the other end could not have been nicer. Told me all i needed to do was point at the item and they would get it out and take it away. The best part of this service is they charge you a reasonable price for the space you take up in the truck and not the hours it takes to move everything. They sent me 3 extremely polite men who moved everything quickly without leaving one tiny mark. They were wonderful!! I willl absolutely use them again!!!

Friendly service and quick response. They even called to reschedule to an earlier time in the day, but I was able to meet up.

We had an excellent experience. This was not a small task and I can't imagine them doing a much better job. Teredius and Junk King came and gave us a written estimate which was the best price we received of several. The estimate included the work of a subcontractor to do demolition, while Junk King removed the debris. Given the nature of the work, we requested documentation of general liability insurance for both parties, which they provided promptly. We were able to schedule the job quickly and according to our schedule. The crew actually turned up early! (Which I might complain about, since I was still in bed, but how can you complain about that when so many are late?) The men were hardworking and courteous, completing the work just as they described, even sorting out materials which we thought we could use later to build a garden shed. Junk King did a good job hauling away materials. Their shiny red truck was even bio-diesel, which we hadn't known ahead of time but appreciated. And, I have to admit, we thought it was funny that they are called "Junk King of the Carolinas" - it appealed to our sense of humor and kitsch factor - but there was nothing kitschy about them. They did an excellent, professional job.

Junk King sent two employees out to my house. They patiently waited in my driveway when they could not reach me by phone to let me know they had arrived at my house. I was in the backyard with my dog and did not hear my phone ring until awhile later when I came back inside. And it was the owner letting me know that his guys had arrived but could not reach me by phone. When I let them in, they were friendly, courteous and professional. I learned from them that Junk King normally try to donate items that they pick up if the items can be fixed. I was very happy to hear that because both items from my house could be fixed and used by someone. It is great that a business tries to do a service to the community. I would totally use this company again. The guys who came to my house were great!
