In August 2014, my regular lawn guy stopped cutting grass. I needed someone quickly to continue the service. Found John's listing and called late morning. Did not get a call by 5 PM and thought that he was not going to respond. At 8PM, I got a call. He just got home and was returning calls. I called some other lawn services as well and they never returned my call. I told John that I was in dire need to have a regular lawn service provider, bur really needed my grass cut right away. John told me that he would come over the next day to view my property, and he would cut my grass. He came as scheduled, and did cut my grass. My neighbors told me that he really did a nice job! I was well pleased with his service. He will also be blowing off my roof after all of the leaves fall off the trees. I had called several other companies listed on Angie's List and was told that my job was too small. There are a lot of people who are looking for someone to just cut grass and edge. But I know if I wanted more lawnscaping, John would be able to provide that as well. He is a very nice person. Soft spoken ahd has proven to be honest and sincere. He is a keeper!

This went well, John and his assistant were knowledgeable about their work, intelligent, diligent, pleasant and steady. John has an arsenal of equipment for performing his services. We told John what we want to accomplish .and watched it happen. Can not ask for anything else..

John's service was excellent. He did what he said he would and more at a reasonable price.

John's great to work with. He's very friendly, courteous, and professional. And he's an extremely hard worker - he was at my place until after 8pm at night. I'll definitely be using him for all my future lawn, tree and landscaping needs. Highly recommended.

I would say the overall experience was excellent. Except for a misunderstanding on the trees that were to be cut all went as expected. It was raining the morning that John and his team were supposed to come and cut down the trees. As a result he did not show up as early as I expected, nor did he let me know he would be arriving late. I work from home and was in my office working and heard chainsaws. I went to the front of the house to see what was going on and John's crew was cutting down one of the trees in the front yard that I wanted to keep. Their mistake turned out to be in my favor because it turned out the tree was rotten in the middle and would have had to come down sooner or later. John made up for his mistake by taking down two more trees than he had agreed to cut. I like John because he kept his word. We did not have a written contract, just a handshake. I found him to be a man of his word. To me that is important. We are human and we humans make mistakes. The difference is what do we do once we make one. John owned up to his and in my opinion made it right without arguing. I would and will use John's services again.
