We started our house search about two years ago. We knew it would be a long process as we had many repairs to make. Jody came over and went through the house and told us what repairs to make and which ones to skip. She is an expert in the South Charlotte market. She was patient and did not rush us but would periodically call to check in and answer questions, which I really appreciated. She also provided us with names of her repair people to use during the process. When one of them came to work on our crawl space and he asked me how I found him, I told him from Jody who was my realtor. I asked if she was good and his response was "no she's not just good, she's scary good!" I knew I was in good hands! We also used her to help us find a house. When we went to tour houses she was great at offering suggestions on how something could be changed and what wasn't worth it. She is also great at getting to know your personality and what types of houses and neighborhoods will work for you. In a 5 day period we bought a house and sold our house! She is great at making the awkward transition of simultaneously buying and selling, not an easy thing to do. I never thought we could do it without getting a HELOC or bridge loan but she made it work! She negotiated things for us I never would have thought of, and even made the home inspection part of it seamless, which in past previous home sales had caused us many problems. Thank you Jody for working with us for two years with a great outcome. We have our forever realtor now!
