Jim Dickerson Co Plumbing Electrical HVAC

We had originally paid Lowes to install a new dishwasher. Unfortunately, we had some electrical issues that the Lowes designated plumber could not resolve. He recommended Dickerson. We called their office around 9:30 and they had the electrician out to the house by 1:45. His name was Scott. Scott assessed the situation and realized what the problem was. Scott had to install a new junction box and when finished connected a cord to the new dishwasher. He did a great and professional job. I am confident that his work and solution to the problem will outlive our time at this specific house. I was surprised that Dickerson had arranged for a plumber to follow up within an hour of Scotts arrival. I didn't think we would get the job done in one day. Jason was the plumber that came to install the dishwasher. Jason also did a neat, professional and great job installing the dishwasher. There were times during the installation that I would have lost my patience, but Jason persevered and we now have the new dishwasher in place and glad the process is complete.

Jim Dickerson is our normal plumber, and they came through for us when we needed urgent care when a flooring contractor broke pipes in a bathroom while installing hardwood floors. Dickerson replaced pipes and valves quickly and efficiently in two steps because one part had to be ordered from outside Charlotte. They insured that we were safe and secure after the first step while waiting for the part. We were able to use the bathroom for all but the sink hot-water line repaired after the part arrived. As usual, they left everything clean and orderly. We shall continue to rely on Jim Dickerson for our plumbing and electrical needs.

Frozen pipe on the coldest day of the year! Brian was great! He fixed my problem quickly, minimizing the damage to ceilings and walls. Super knowledgeable, high quality work, professional, friendly, etc. The whole process was great -from first call to response and billing. Thank you!

Access under house turned out to be difficult. Work had to be done over a furnace. Work went fine.

I was cleaning collards greens and looked down and water was coming from under the sink like a fountain. I immediately looked at my house repairs folder and saw this is who we had used in the past. I called them and Angie said they would get someone out there by 11:00. well I had not heard anything by then so I called at 12:00 and she placed me on hold and explained that she saw a tech had just finished up a job and was heading over to my home. I was very happy with the quick response that I received. Jason got to my home at 12:30 and restated that I had to leave at 1:45 to take the kids to soccer. He began to work and also explained what he needed to do and stated the price. He finished at 1:20 and cleaned up all materials. I would immediately call this service again if I have any plumbing issues.

Called company with short notice, they were able to come out and perform the service on the same day, big plus and worth the extra money. Technician was polite and did a good job.

I asked for a quote to replace a shower pan. Jim came out and looked and measured. He called me back the next day and said the size I had wasn't standard and I needed to consider replacing it with tile. I would consider him for plumbing work in the future. I contracted the work though someone else that I've used for big home projects

They do not do the shower pan work but provided references.

We lost our hot water a week before Christmas. I called them to get a house call to determine our problem. (They have been our plumber for a number of years.) After careful testing he determined that we had a crack in our water heater tank. He was not able to replace it that day but a new one was installed the next.

All went well. Technician called me after his work was concluded

Came home from vacation to a cold house. Jim Dickerson exceeded my expectations with on time arrival and friendly HVAC specialist. My house was a home again within thirty minutes of their arrival.

Extremely satisfied. We have used the plumbing and the electrical services many times and consistently get excellent service and response. This time Scott, Don and Mike did the work and they went out of their way to make sure the work was done well! The focus on service and safety was outstanding. Will use this service again!

I have used this company a couple of times and they are very responsive and professional and provide excellent service. The gentleman was very professional and explained what he did. My only complaint is the cost, but perhaps their costs are in line with other plumbers. But $160 for a five minute job seemed excessive. But when you need a plumber....

They were on time, courtesy and instantly diagnosed our gurgling noise from the tub. It was a very easy fix and they finished in just a few minutes. They then checked another sink and answered all my questions.

It was very good. I would definitely use them again.

My initial phone call was immediately answered by a delightful woman who took my information and notified me that services would be addressed the same day. She also informed me that I would receive a phone call from a plumber to notify me of an arrival time. Shortly after, I did indeed receive a phone call and the plumber was at my home only two hours later. He was incredibly polite, professional, courteous and trustworthy. The issue was resolved in one hour. He happily discussed many options with me and took the time to inspect the entire crawl space to ensure the information he was giving me was accurate. We had gone with another plumber on a previous occasion and were not too pleased with the cost. Jim Dickerson plumbing, while they may still have a slightly higher than average hourly rate, was still more affordable. And well worth it for the type of service!

Fast services, this was a hard back breaking job. Their good work, honesty, and rates will bring me back as a customer for my home and rental property. They may not have the fancy trucks or suites giving estimates but your not paying for them either. These are good people.

Job was ok. A little expensive but good.

Investigated water leak and made sure repair would take care of problem permanently. Plumber did not have all the necessary parts, but showed me how to save money by getting them myself and completing the repair.

1. Leaking feeder line for guest bathroom sink where line comes through the floor. Plumber went into crawl space and removed old lines and replaced. The plumber dragged the bucket of water which had been catching leak all the way from the very back of the crawl space (3 feet of clearance). 2. We had several $500 heating bills last winter. Had energy assessment done and determined possible problem with emergency heat strips coming on unnecessarily with one of the heat pumps. HVAC determined that previous owner's HVAC had installed a thermostat for a gas furnace and the heat strips were all that was heating the second floor (we have electric heat pumps). He also checked out the entire system to ensure it was working properly. I called the day after Thanksgiving (Friday) thinking they would be out on Monday because I didn't think an emergency call was warranted. Both were there in less than 45 minutes. Both the plumber and HVAC were professional and did the work efficiently. Will definitely use them again if necessary, and would recommend to friends.

Excellent service from Joe. Prompt and very knowledgable. Provided guidance as to additional plumbing needs and plumbing products. Next project - We'll use this company and will request Joe again.

Electrician arrived first quickly replaced back porch light (even brought in ladder to replace light bulb in high-hanging mud room light fixture). Just as was leaving the plumber arrived and quickly & neatly replaced the kitchen faucet. Both called 20 mins before their arrival and were very prompt, curteous and friendly. Always satisfied with Jim Dickerson Plumbing and Electrical.

This is not a bathroom that we use often, only when there are guests. There was a problem with it before I moved in and he serviced the toilet for the previous owners, so I used him again. About 3-6 months later, I had some company let me know there was leak around the toilet. When I called them to let them know the leak was back, they said that they would have to charge me another service fee. I was shocked that they do not stand by their work. I decided to go with a different provider after this conversation. After having someone else come out, they found there was a crack on the bottom side of the bowl. I was not happy that Dickenson charged me for something that he did not fix the wrong issue and also did not try to rectify the problem. I would not recommend them.
