+ -1 moreAfter a while there was a delay and another one and another until it had been months since they had worked. There were dozens of excuses from a hurt back to a sick family member to employee problems. I contacted the subcontractors to find out they had not been paid one penny. I now have a home that is 25% complete and I have paid them for much more than that. They will not return calls, texts or emails. And on top of it all, they are not General Contractors. They gave me fake information so I would believe they were GC's with the proper insurance. BEWARE!!! This has turned into a nightmare. PLEASE contact me if you have had a similar experience with them so the proper authorities can handle them.
Description of Work: Juan Francisco Gutierrez and Marilyn quoted a complete home renovation down to the studs. They gave me a very fair price. I had used them for a much smaller project before. They collected deposits for the subcontractors and began the project.

+ -1 moreThey gave us an estimate upfront of all for materials needed and the labor cost. They were extremely prompt showing up on time every day. They put down plastic and protective materials to prevent damage and the spread of dust. They started the each job and asked for feedback asking if it was what we wanted. The labor took them a day more than expected but they never changed the labor cost. The quality of work was excellent.
Description of Work: They installed board and batten trim in our family room, mud room and hallway. They made and installed 8 pairs of exterior shutters. They painted our stained front door a high gloss black.
