+ 0 moreJerry was very responsive from the start. He was always punctual and got back to us right away with his estimate. His crew took care with our furniture and floors and covered everything where needed. His crew was always on time and were diligent in their work. Jerry consulted us along the way and made helpful suggestions. His crew cleaned up every day so we could still function in the house. The crew was pleasant and careful in their work. The price for the work was excellent. Absolutely, the best painters I've ever worked with.
Description of Work: Jerry Austin and his crew painted eight rooms as well as some exterior painting on our porch, chimney and rear entryway. The house is old, so lots of scraping, sanding and caulking where done in preparation. We'd had some holes in the sheet rock from plumbing work and those were patched and smoothed over to match the rest of the walls. He also eliminated some water stains on some walls that were from an old roof leak.

+ -1 moreJerry Austin was able to provide a quote and schedule services within two weeks of our first conversation. The walls were patched very well and had a much smoother appearance when they were finished. The walls were primed as needed and each received a minimum of two coats of paint. The work was finished ahead of schedule and to my extreme satisfaction. They left no drips or streaks anywhere in the house, and the color looks even and seamless. They even allowed me to purchase the paint on my own so that I could save money and directly select the brand, finish and color. When finished they labeled the extra paint for me and left it behind for touch-ups.
Description of Work: I had recently purchased an old home and wanted to have the walls and ceilings painted prior to moving my furniture and other belongings into the house. Jerry Austin Painting filled and repaired numerous settling cracks in plaster, sanded off old wallpaper glue, and prepped plaster walls for painting in five rooms in my house, which is 50 (plus) years old. They also scraped and patched a popped seam in my textured living room ceiling that went the length of the room, and painted all ceilings in my house. Some ceilings are textured and some are flat.
