On 8/09/21, I scheduled a survey with John at Jack Christian Surveying and was told there would be no problem getting it completed before closing. He promised to have the map to me by 8/23/21. Weeks later, I was informed that he had visited the property but could not locate a marker and would have to return but that he would get it done. He then ceased all communication and did not respond to voicemail messages or emails. It was too late to have someone else complete a survey and I was ultimately left without a survey at closing on 9/08/21.

Incredibly frustrating. I called on a Tuesday & scheduled w/ the woman there for the FIRST appointment 9 days later on a Friday. I explained that I had to take work off & Fridays were the best day for me to do that. She told me to call them the day before to confirm. I thought this not the best customer service, but I agreed. She also reminded me that if it rained, he wouldn't be out. I called the day before the scheduled appointment. I reiterated that I needed the first appointment of the day. She asked someone in the background if they could do it, and they said yes. They hadn't even scheduled me on their calendar! The woman said he'd be out around 8:30 & reminded me of the rain issue. I told her that if he wasn't coming that he needed to call & tell me. 8:30 rolled around and no one showed up. When I called I spoke to someone calling himself their son. He said that his dad was running errands & wouldn't be able to be at my house until after lunch. I cancelled the appointment.

I contacted Christian & Associates the last week of April and arranged to have them survey my property. They promised to complete the survey either by the end of the week or the following Tuesday. No one showed up to conduct the survey. Two weeks passed with no contact by the company. I called on Friday of the second week to remind them that the survey had not been completed as promised. No one answered, but I left a message on the answering machine to at least have the courtesy to call and let me know if they were not going to do the survey so I could hire another firm. After hearing nothing by the following Tuesday, I called Sam Malone and Assoc., who agreed to do the survey the following Tuesday. Malone & Assoc. promptly conducted the survey when promised. I finally received a call from the secretary for Christian & Assoc. the day before the survey was to be done by Malone & Assoc. I informed them that I had contacted another firm and did not need their service.

Ultimately, did excellent work. However, communication was an issue. They are very busy and it was evident. The survey was promised on certain days, but never delivered. I had to keep following up to get it done. Overall, a very nice staff that worked with me.

OVERALL GOOD EXPERIENCE. OUR LOT STRUCTURE WAS PRETTY CONFUSING. HE DID THE JOB IN LESS TIME THAT SOMEONE ELSE SAID WOULD TAKE A FEW TRIPS TO FIGURE OUT. WE EVEN HAD TO HAVE HIM COME BACK OUT TO CHECK A PROPERTY MARKER BECAUSE WE SUSPECTED SOMEONE MOVED IT BEFORE WE MOVED IN. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE IN NEED OF SURVEYING.

PROMPT, EFFICIENT, AND HIGH QUALITY WORK. PERSONABLE STAFF. NOT CHEAP, BUT CHEAPER THAN ANOTHER COMPANY WE CONTACTED.
