Description of Work: Make the yard looking good before putting the house on the market. Trimming bushes, mowing lawn, trimming low edge branches from trees, sharpening edge of the lawn.... big before spring cleaning!!!!

 + -1 moreCalled J&E to request an appointment for an estimate for weekly lawn cutting, fertilizing, and overall care of trees and shrubs. Spoke to wife who was very pleasant and arranged to have hubby and owner stop by. Within two days Mr. Stewart, the owner, did stop by and gave us an immediate quote--$300. Unfortunately, it was not in our price range and we could not consider using his services.
Description of Work: Weekly lawn cutting, edging, seasonal fertilization, pruning trees and bushes.

 + 0 moreJames was excellent to work with. He came out and gave us a quote that was very reasonable. However, when he came to do the work, it had rained and even more leaves had fallen, so it took him twice as long as he expected. But he refused to go back on his word of what he originally quoted. We gave him a bonus for his extra time, and definitely expect to call him again.

HE RECOMMENDED JUST MOWING THE AREA DOWN AND MULCHING, AND WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. THEY CLEANED ALL THE LEAVES OUT FROM UNDER THE DECK, AND CLEANED UP SOME OTHER SPOTS IN THE YARD. EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT AND WE WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN. EXCELLENT RATES AS WELL!

DURING THE JOB, HE GAVE ME LOTS OF MAINTENANCE TIPS, AND ALSO HAD SOME GOOD ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO WITH THE NON-GRASSY AREAS (FLOWER BEDS, ETC.). ALL IN ALL, AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE.
