INFINITE AUDIO

Exciting ideas, but very high priced and lousy execution. House system constantly had glitches even after repeated visits by the technicians. After a year of troubleshooting the system and still having problems, they actually wanted to charge me to try and fix their continued problems. Avoid this vendor!1/

Additional followup since previous report; system had frequent false alarms and was serviced repeatedly without resolution. One zone had 5 service calls but never worked reliably. After a year I went back to the builder and they paid under the new house warranty to switch to another alarm provider. New provider had to replace all the window contacts (43 windows) to fix the false alarm issues. In addition, the carbon monoxide detectors had to be relocated as they were not in the right location on the wall. One keypad was rewired so that power supply was no longer running thru the drywall, a code violation. After a year of false alarms, my system finally works.

QUALITY OF COMPLETED WORK WAS GOOD TO EXCELLENT ONCE IT WAS DONE, BUT IT WAS DIFFICULT TO GET THE WORK DONE. VERY POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS, MOST PHONE CALLS WERE NOT RETURNED. FREQUENTLY WORK REQUESTED/PAID FOR WAS FORGOTTEN OR NOT PERFORMED. ITEMS THAT WERE PREWIRED WERE NOT INSTALLED AFTER DRYWALL (FRONT DOOR KEYPAD, REAR SPEAKERS) BUT WERE PUT IN ONCE THIS WAS POINTED OUT. WORK WAS NOT DONE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE BUILDER'S PROJECT MANAGER SCHEDULE, CAUSING FRICTION BETWEEN THE TWO COMPANIES. I WAITED 2 WEEKS TO GET MY ALARM HOOKED UP TO A MONITORING COMPANY, WITH TWO NO SHOWS AND UNFULFILLED PROMISES TO CALL BACK. IT APPEARS THAT STAFF TURNOVER WAS PARTLY TO BLAME FOR THE PROBLEMS I EXPERIENCED. BUT THEY (EVENTUALLY) DID WHAT WE AGREED TO. I WAS NOT CHARGED FOR RETURN TRIPS TO FIX MISSING AND INCOMPLETE ITEMS. IF THEY HIRED SOMEONE TO ACTUALLY WORK WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS, THEY COULD BE A GOOD CHOICE. UNTIL THEN, I CAN'T RECOMMEND.
