Hornet Moving

Insure your items, if you don't want to end up like me. They broke my bed when breaking it down. The movers tried to hide the damage and Hornet will not agree to fix my bed, only pay cents on the dollar for the damaged they caused my bed, nightstands, freezer, dining set, dressers and couch. Why? I did not opt to pay for additional insurance. After initially offering to fix my bed, I was later told they would not do so. So, now here I am months later with a bed I am unable to put together and the compensation they are offering is not sufficient to cover the damage. I even contacted the BBB and they closed the case because Hornet was unwilling to budge in agreeing to fix what they broke. AVOID HORNET MOVING AT ALL COSTS, unless you are willing to buy extra insurance. All of their teams aren't this careless, but if you happen to get one - buyer beware. FYI, the last two pics show where my bed was vs. where I found the piece of my broken bed by the wall. I could have written this review long ago. And I have more pics and emails as proof of all these things, but I was hoping Hornet would do the right thing for their customer by fixing what they damaged. Know who you're working with or you may end up in a similar situation.

Fred & Ti did a great job moving my daughter in the pouring rain! They were right on time & didn't stop working until the job was done. I would definitely use these guys again!

Alex and Darion did an amazing job with our move. They were prompt, professional, courteous, friendly, trustworthy, hardworking, and most importantly careful. They treated our furniture and belongings like they were thier own and I never worried that anything would be mishandled. They took down and setup furniture in the new house just like they were when they arrived. Cant reccomend them enough and the team at hornet moving.

Alex and Alonzo were awesome. Very efficient, cool dudes, everything made it to the end locations in a timely manner. Pricing for service is better than competitors in the area. Definitely recommend.

Hasan and Elijah R were prompt and worked quickly to load and unload my stuff to my new apt. Look forward to using Hornet for any future moving needs.

Rashad and Dalton did great work. They moved bedroom furniture from my garage to another house. They moved a heavy dresser up the stairs. They put a bed together. They were diligent and timely, professional and polite.

This is the second time I've used this company. It went very well overall. I was surprised as how quick the move went. The guys (Phil, George, & Alex) were very polite and courteous. Every request was met with a "yessir." My nephew used this company before (some damaged goods but I don't think it was these same guys I had), and my mother in law used them as well and liked them. I had to move out one day and in the following so I had to pay an extra $100 + an extra travel fee, otherwise it would've been cheaper. I had moving blankets but they also had theirs. They had their own moving tools as well which other companies I've seen will sometimes charge you for using them along with extra fees for stairs (which they did not). I hope not to move any time soon but I'd use them again and I'll be recommending them to friends and family.

Terrible. We had read many great reviews about the company, but that did not match our experience. The three gentlemen who showed up were polite, but it was if they had never moved anyone before. They used almost no packing blankets, resulting in scuffed up and damaged furniture. They damaged walls and flooring, an air hockey table, chairs. We had some things in the shed that including a lawn mower. We told them we'd like to go empty the truck (which was full) then do a second run. The drive was only about ten or fifteen minutes from home to home. They didn't want to do that at all, and said they could put everything (lawnmower and grill included) in the truck on top of other furniture. The owner was apologetic and polite and sent a guy out to help fix what he could fix. In the end, we received more money back for damages than we paid to move. I would never use this firm again. I should have sent them home, but who can do that? Especially when you are moving you have schedules that must be kept no matter what. I did appreciate the owner's willingness to try and make things better. But in the end, I would rather have had undamaged furniture and equipment.

Quick and arrived on time. Not quite as careful as expected with a few scuffs and scratches on furniture. I would ask them to take it slower and be more careful next time.

The movers were respectful and professional. However, the move resulted in substantial furniture damage that should have been covered through the upgraded insurance that was paid for. Instead, your company sent out a furniture repair person. Again, a very professional person. However, the damaged furniture still looks like repaired damaged furniture which still diminishes the resale value. I advice providing customers with what they paid for.

The team was super kind and worked very hard. A great group of guys - Bobby, Antonio, & Chris. Drew was an excellent sales rep and very attentive to my specific needs. Overall the moving team was very professional and courteous, and they were very intentional about wanting to put their best foot forward. The team was efficient as well. If I were to ever move again, I'd ask for these three guys. I've moved too many times to count and they were the best experience I've had.

Carlo and Jordon were punctual and professional. They took great care in moving all my belongings and honored the special requests I had in regard to handling certain. pieces. They were well within the time estimated to complete the job. The cost for their great service was very reasonable. I will be calling upon Hornet Movers again, once my house sells and I need to move out.

The move went very well. The company was responsive before and during the move. The guys who moved us each time were great. They were efficient and professional. I would use Hornet moving again and I wouldnt hesitant to recommend them to my anyone looking to hire a moving company.

I LOVE this local company. After one move, I am a huge fan. Pricing is straight forward and competitive, pricing down to the minute (so no rounding) which I have never seen and the smallest minimum time requirement as well. I've already hired them again, and will continue to do so. Did I mention how much I love them? Go Hornets!
