Horne Heating and Air Conditioning

Previously we experienced hot and cold rooms but after work was completed, we felt significant improvement. Temps throughout the house were much more consistent and comfortable. Results were just what was predicted, was very professional, responded quickly. Could not be more pleased.

My wife and I had an amazing experience with Horne Heating & Air Conditioning replacing our Furnace and AC. They quickly responded to our need, and were very pleasant any friendly. Richard and Nick installed our new system and gave us an excellent customer experience!

Have used Horne for HVAC service for several years now and they installed a complete system upstairs in 2016. We had some issues with the downstairs gas furnace last week and needed to shut it down on the Friday evening due to safety concerns. The team at Horne went out of their way to getting our new system sized over the holiday period (special, thanks to Sheri Bowers who came out late on Saturday evening) and answering all our questions even on New Years Day as we needed to get downstairs heat working. They offered a good price and a goodwill gesture because of something that went wrong in an earlier diagnosis - something they did not have to do. Austin from their installation team came today, on time and very polite, very professional and system install went without any issues. You can really only tell about a company's customer service when the chips are down and Horne really delivered for us. I would definitely recommend their team for your HVAC needs.

The heater system quit working called horn heater and AC. To get a diagnostic on the heating system. Found that I needed the new system was 26 years old. I told them to go ahead and replace it they came on the day they said they were and a Mr. austin and his crew replaced unit. He was very knowledgeable and they done excellent job now I’ve got heat.

Excellent. RIchard & Chris showed up right on time and got the job done. Everything was cleaned up and debris hauled away. They walked me through using new system and I was good to go by end of day. They filled out the forms for Duke rebate and set up guaranteed inspection.

Richard started early one morning and by early evening he was starting it up and explaining how everything worked. He explained the new thermostat in terms that I could understand, and was VERY patient with me and my wife!

It went great. They were prompt and did a great job.

Bryan Halla was the serviceman. He carefully checked het pumps, furnace and ductwork. He was quite through and explained everything to me. I have been with Horne for over decades and have full confidence in their work.

Horne did a wonderful job on the installation. Austin and Chris were great installers. System was installed within the time frame quoted and they cleaned up the area every day. Very professional.

Horne was great - the lady I spoke to on the phone was courteous and professional. They were able to get a technician out right away to look at the HVAC. Since it's such an old unit I expected them to push me to replace it but they made no mention of that at all and instead just told me what needed to be done to repair and got the work done quickly. We had a follow-up issue a couple of days later and they went right out to fix that as well. In both cases the technician called me to explain the repair work that needed to be done and answered all my questions. I would definitely hire Horne again for future HVAC work.

We are using Horne HVAC services since we bought our house in Charlotte. We had to replace both cooling and heating units downstairs and upstairs. The technicians came on Saturday and worked for eight hours. They were very professional and friendly. In the beginning, they cover all floors and staircases. At the end, they clean everything up, asked for questions and explain everything that we need to know. I would recommend Horne company to anyone who needs fast and high quality service.

They came the same day in the evening. They fixed the air conditioner as the capacitor had gone dead and I was very pleased with their professionalism and response.

It was excellent. they were responsive to phone calls, answered questions. We just liked him much better than any of the others we interviews. They did exactly what they said they would do.

We had an appointment for them to service our furnace on October 24th between 1:00PM and 5:00PM. I called their office on that day to confirm this appointment and was assured that the technician would provide the service requested. He called at 5:45PM to let me know that he was about an hour away. I would prefer to conduct business with a company that is reliable and honest. Horne Heating and Air Conditioning does not meet that criteria.

Terrifically. We detected a cooling problem prior to going out of town. At Horne's instruction we turned off the unit and made an appointment for their tech, Jason to evaluate on 10/4/17. He determined the problem which to repair was considerable. He evaluated our needs and was immediately able to provide a quotation from the main office. We determined that it made good financial sense to replace the unit. Fortunately, Horne had the needed Trane unit in stock. Before the end of the business day we were scheduled to have the new unit installed the next morning. Colby came and staged our home with floor coverings to protect them. He told us precisely the game plan and that a crane would arrive onsite at 10:30am which it promptly did. He provided assurances that our neighbors and properties would not be disrupted. He provided detail information on how the project would work as we are on the 3rd floor of complex. He assured us the crane would be onsite only about 15 minutes and this was true. The raising of the unit by the crane to the 3rd floor roof was perfectly executed. Colby and associates were able to complete the installation by the end of the business day. We were so confident of Colby's ability to finish the job that we left him and went out of town. We have been clients of Horne's for 14 years with our annual serving. A great team of associates who consistently take care of our needs. This major installation was completed without a hitch. They receive a WOW from us.

Went very well. Occurred in heat of the summer. They even brought a temporary window unit to cool the condo down until they could install a new unit.

Job went very smoothly. Our tank gas water heater abruptly died, leaving us to cold showers. I solicited several estimates from multiple companies. I was able to get an estimate from John Horne without him coming out and based upon photos I emailed. Several companies refused to do that, even knowing they would lose the job. Sent John the photos that morning, and he had a crew dispatched to install by lunch. Took about 5 hours. We went out that evening and returned to a gas smell in the garage. A tech was dispatched within about an hour and resolved the problem.

I was contacted by Devon, we set up an appointment time. He came as scheduled and looked over my current setup, we talked about some of the features I liked and various specifications on the unit. He told me he could not give me a quote while he was there because some elder person needed service and she would have priority but he would get back to me in a week. After about 10 days passed and I did not hear from him so I emailed him and asked if he was sending me a quote, then after a couple of days latter I received a quote but it did not have the AC or Furnace model. The quote only indicated it was a XR14 furnace and a 95% furnace. I have requested more information on the units model# and as of today, a month latter I have not heard from him. Never could understand why a person service call would have an effect on a quote.

Very well, sound level is much lower.

Very professional. Ducts were replaced within a day with little to no interruption to our normal routine. The old water heater was replaced in the crawl space. We also had an under rated electrical panel replaced at a very reasonable price. We are extremely happy with all of the projects and would definitely use this company for future projects.

They always do a great job. They show up when they said they will.

We still use them to today and they are fabulous.

Would use them again –still use them today and am very happy with them.
