Horne Heating and Air Conditioning

Called at 5:30 on a Friday evening and Nick was in our house after 6:00. He was very professional and quickly diagnosed the problem and had the heat working. So impressed that we bought a new service agreement with them.

Scheduled total system replacement for early August due to AC problems. Contractor made appropriate recommendations for system size and design, and condensate handling for attic mounted unit. Identified presence of asbestos in duct insulation and furnace base panel; contractor coordinated abatement contractor and expanded system scope to replace all distribution ductwork. Work was completed professionally and in timely manner. Based on six months of data (heating season) system provides significant energy use reduction over prior unit.

Bobby from Horne was professional and punctual. He showed us pictures of the old furnace and explained what we would need to repair or replace. We did not feel at all pressured to go for the most expensive unit. During installation, air got into the gas pipes and we had no hot water to fireplace. Horne responded and had techs out immediately to solve the problem. We have signed maintenance contract with them also. I have an acquaintance who is in the building trades and he also recommended them and spoke of them as one of the best HVAC folks in town. A+

Three men from Horne HVAC arrived early and completed what I thought would be an all day job in half a day. They were courteous and told me about the new system and checked out the operation of the new unit. I was also told to contact them with any problems. My experience with Horne was great throughout; starting with CJ Lamarca, our salesman who was available all hours to answer questions and help with picking the best unit for the special conditions of our house.

It went great, they do excellent work and are very thorough. I will definitely be using them again because I have signed a yearly service contract with them.

I'm very pleased with the overall experience. Everything went smoothly from getting a written quote to having the installation technicians come out. There was no scheduling problem, really flexible availability. I got referred from a neighbor who was also very happy with the work done, glad I went with Horne HVAC. A big thank you to the installation technicians, Colby and Jason, who were wonderful and extremely professional, treated my home with respect and left my place completely clean afterwards. I'm one satisfied customer.

We’ve been Horne customers for a number of years, and they take care of several of our clients as well. Most recently, we had a new downstairs AC system installed. We worked with Larry who patiently helped us decide which system to purchase, while Austin & Nick did the installation. The two of them showed up on time and were very personable & professional. They walked me through what they would be doing during the installation. And then Austin taught me how to use the new thermostat, connect it to our wifi, and set it up for use with our phones. All three of these guys did a fantastic job in their respective roles. We will keep using Horne for many years to come.

The employees at Horne were great. Cleaned up following completion of work and left the area clean. Always wore booties in the house to keep dirt out. Installed a new top of the line variable speed Trane system. Jason and Colby were great and answered all questions.

My good service started with first phone call. Every time I spoke with Sharon, she was always pleasant and worked hard to figure out a good appointment time that would work for her technicians and my tenants. She worked out a time for the one day I would be in town and Jeff showed up promptly at the scheduled time. He assessed the situation and came up with a solution. It turned out, the problem was more complex than imagined. After Jeff left, my heat failed to come back on so he came back at the end of the day to assess more. We ordered the part and he was there early the next day to replace the necessary parts and my heat and air are working like new again. I enjoyed my experience and would recommend them to anyone else.

Horne Heating and Air Conditioning performed a complete replacement of our heating and air conditioning system including duct work and we couldn't be happier with the results. Our first introduction to Horne was through comfort consultant CJ Lamarca. CJ did a thorough assessment of our current system and spent time with us learning what we wanted in a replacement system. He thoroughly explained the process and went into detail about how the heating, cooling and duct technology and products had changed since our original system was installed. His estimate was very thorough and he got back to me quickly to answer questions. Austin and Nick were the installers and treated our home as if it were their own...we really appreciated that. The install took two days and took place in early March. As the overnight temp after the first day was going to be in the upper 30s, Nick and Austin made sure to get enough of the duct system installed to provide heat to our bedroom and bathroom. The duct system looks great...these guys are true craftsmen. We couldn't be happier with our new system and our experience with Horne Heating and Air Conditioning.

Horne was great to work with from the estimation process through the installation. Richard and Jon, who performed the installation, were punctual, friendly and professional. We will continue to work with them for our annual servicing. We are very happy with our new system and looking forward to the savings from the higher efficiency AC and furnace.

The service given by Richard and Jon in installing our new HVAC system was excellent. On time, very clean, efficient, thoughtful and quiet throughout the entire project. They left the site in immaculate condition. We couldn't have been more pleased.

We had a cracked heat exchanger which can be dangerous. The service manager at Horne spent time on the phone with me to explain the situation and our options. Once we decided to install a new unit, Horne was able to schedule the installation quickly. Richard and Jon on the installation crew showed up at the scheduled time and were very professional. The installation went smoothly. Once the old furnace was removed, additional issues were found and I called Horne's service department with questions. The service manager took the time to answer all my questions and sent detailed information that was easy to understand. Richard and Jon cleaned up after they finished the installation. Dee, the service coordinator, was very pleasant and worked to make sure I had the information I needed. It was a top-notch job and I would definitely use them again.

Horne Heating and Air did a great job! We had issues for the last several years with a three zone system for a 2 story house. We got a new Trane HVAC system, new zoning equipment (damper motors and board), and a little reworking of the duct work. Larry and CJ came out to take measurements and gave us a lot of information so we can make a good decision. CJ & Larry provided a lot of detailed info that I really appreciated. Richard, the installer, came out for a materials list and the next day installed it. It was a huge mess (removing the old unit) but they cleaned it up really well! Everyone was punctual (called before they came), responsive (for ex. returned an e-mail at 6:45am - about an hour after I sent it), informative, and professional. I definitely recommend Horne. You can always find a cheap back country HVAC installer but Horne was a great balance between professional/licensed installers and a reasonable price.

Smooth, well communicated, helpful suggested improvements and prepared with all the parts on the truck the first time.
