We are so happy with our experience with Horne! Jamal and Jose are outstanding professional installers! I expected a mess and was blown away at their cleanliness! No mess whatsoever! They were so nice and went out of their way to make us happy. I barely even knew they were here. Did not disrupt my activities at all. These two are a treasure. We are also thrilled with our experience with Bryan and Marlon who guided us through the diagnoses and purchase process. So thorough and friendly. This company wants to be sure the customer is happy. Highly recommend!

Michael Bullock our service tech is remarkable and did a great job of identifying the problem and extending the life of our old unit. He subsequently put us in contact with their new unit guys and they came out to review the layout and provided a fair price estimate. Brant the installers were on time, precise with the installation, duct work and outdoor aesthetics. Great team to work with!

Initially well. Good communication upfront. Spent over 90 minutes while the evaluator scoped the effort and provided an alternative to my problem. I asked for two proposals for the two options he presented. Two weeks go by and no return even though the office texted to follow up and I told them I hadn't heard back. They stated they would ask him to send information ASAP. 8 days later, nothing. Complete waste of time.

Bran and Jose were at our house for about 7 hours to replace our old furnace and AC units. They were communicative with us each step along the way and walked me through the new system and answered questions before they left. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend you go with Horne for all your HVAC and hot water heater needs. (Now the details) The great people at Horne replaced most of the duct work in my 60 year old home (2500 sq. ft.) and replaced a 20+ year old gas furnace and AC unit. They also replaced a 20 year old hot water heater with a high-end tankless water heater, even mounting it to a concrete wall. This was a big project and the team at Horne was fantastic through the entire process. Marlon who quoted the job was very knowledgeable about my options and pricing, and was available afterwards to answer all our questions before we decided on Horne. All the technicians were very detailed oriented, highly skilled, and a pleasure to have around my house. Jason was the site manager and his expert knowledge was critical given the complexity of replacing duct work in a 60 year old home, as well as, custom installing a high capacity tankless water heater. Big shout out to Nicholas, Jamal, and Jose who were in our house day in and day out. They were fantastic! Given the complexity and work needed, Richard and Brant also stopped by to lend a hand and provide their own special skills to the job. All of them were knowledge, hard-working, and very friendly. Finally, Dee in the office was great with scheduling, assisting with billing, and follow-up. I would highly recommend Horne to anyone looking for HVAC or hot water heater service or replacement. Horne will be the only service provider I use in Charlotte.

I can only echo the 1,300 reviews that gave Horne HVAC an “A” rating on Angie’s List. Routine preseason inspection revealed a dangerous carbon monoxide leak in our 17-year-old system. Everyone at Horne was very helpful during the insurance claim process. They arranged a new installation the day after insurance was approved. The installation by Pierce and Richard was friendly, thorough and professional from start to finish. Horne is a first-class operation. I think it unwise to accept anything less in something as critical as HVAC.

Michael and Eddie did an outstanding job replacing our electrical box. They took extra time making sure it not only worked well but looked great. They were kind, courteous and cleaned up.

I've been a Horne customer for several years. They installed my furnace a few years back and have maintained my HVAC equipment. Their techs are knowledgeable and professional. They always notify you when they are coming and are always on time. My AC unit recently had a major issue after 16 years of service so I decided to get some quotes on a new unit. Forrest came out and did an evaluation and made some recommendations. He was far more thorough than the other contractors that came out. He promptly answered questions that I had about the proposed options. On install day, Daniel and Pierce came out on time and worked diligently until the unit was installed. They improved the appearance of the pad that the outside unit was placed on and opened up some ducts that were constricted inside to help with air flow. They also cleaned up well after they were done. I've been very happy with Horne and unless they change, I will continue to be their customer.

From start to finish . . we had a great experience. Larry and Marlon came within a day of contacting Horne to evaluate our previous HVAC and see exactly what we needed. It was determined that our HVAC was in need of being replaced . . and from there we were helped in getting the financing needed and an appointment was quickly set up, our HVAC was installed and we had air conditioning once again. The install was so smooth. Nick and Martine were so professional and courteous and worked hard from the moment they got there to make sure everything was done/installed correctly. They both were very efficient and even vacuumed after the job was done!! The next day I had to call the office to set up an inspection . . and even Rebecca was friendly, courteous and set up the inspection within the next day too. All along the way/throughout the process we received emails and/or texts . . to remind or let us know that someone was on the way and even a picture to help ensure our safety of who to expect. Horne has replaced both of our air conditioning units and both experiences have been great!! I would highly recommend this company anytime. They are quick, professional, courteous, efficient and each time . . a job well done!!

They told me that it's due to the motor capacitor. They were doing just fine but now I have to get someone to repair the unit. Price was competitive, the only thing I was looking at is I'll have to pay more. If they did't touch the old unit I wouldn't be talking right now but they did. The exterior unit that they did is excellent and they did show up on time and respectful of my home.
