Description of Work: They installed the venting system and hooked up to the A/C and gas furnace in our basement that we were finishing and did a terrific job. They were very professional, provided advice and cost saving alternatives. Also used them for hvac tune-ups.

Description of Work: Excellent experience from start to finish on a replacement HVAC unit. Very prompt, courteous and professional. They carefully went through all the options with no pushy sales pitch. The price was competitive though not the cheapest. They did exactly what they said when they said they would. They did a follow up inspection after it passed the city inspection to make sure it was perfect then sent a thank you gift! I have a high bar for grades and they exceeded it. Outstanding!

Excellent.
Description of Work: Responded to call that home AC had quit working on Sunday, and I did not request a repair appointment for Sunday. Appointment was the following Monday morning. Service Tech, Mr. Prince, came before I expected, and quickly assessed what the situation was, gave me an estimate, and repaired the unit while explaining everthing he was doing.

Thank you for the response to Angie's List, although this "F" is completely undeserved. For the other Angie's List members that will be reading this review, our organization sold an Angie's List Big Deal coupon that clearly stated the services were on a per system basis with one coupon needed for each system in the home. When confirming the service appointment, the member was under the impression a single coupon purchase fee included all systems. There were several attempts by phone and a follow-up e-mail sent to the member explaining the terms & conditions of the Angie's List Big Deal, along with copies of the actual coupon/purchase. Ultimately the member was not satisfied and our team suggested the member contact Angie’s List for a refund. It is very unfortunate our reviews have been brought down by this report. Horne Heating and Air Conditioning was willing to honor all terms & conditions of the purchased coupon however; the member did not have an understanding of the purchase and expected our team to perform additional work at no charge. Horne Heating and Air Conditioning completed no work at this location. We wish you success with future services and hope the terms & conditions of any special offers are confirmed before purchase so other reputable businesses like Horne Heating and Air Conditioning are not subjected to negative, undeserving reviews. Description of Work: The service technicians arrived and promptly performed their work. One technician explained how the thermometer worked. They found a defective part, told me the price and repaired it. They even gave me a manual on how the thermometer works. I appreciated that. Because there was a renter in the house who refused to agree to an appointment, I had to pay a 750.00 fee because in their opinion there had a lapse in service. All is well with our AC now.
Description of Work: This was a follow-up to our regular AC service call, where our representative found the downstairs unit had a blown compressor. Horne went right to work that very day, to locate a new compressor and arrived yesterday to install it. We have cool air in our house tonight...to steal somebody else's phrase.
