+ -1 moreIf I could leave zero stars I would. Terrible customer service. Still had bugs everywhere after their services. I canceled the service and they still continued to charge me. They did not notify me and then sent those payments to a debt collector. I had perfect credit until them. Then when i called the lady was extremely rude and told me basically to go fly a kite. WORST pest control company I’ve ever dealt with. One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Description of Work: They were supposed to get rid of bugs inside the house. Didn’t happen and had to have them back several times. They still didn’t fix the problem. Canceled the service and they continue to charge me and send it to a debt collector without notifying me.

+ -1 moreThe Home Team distribution piping which has been added to some new homes is a novel idea, but no more effective than traditional DIY application. In addition, the tubing system is proprietary and must only be used by Home Team at a high cost. What I really do not like is be harassed by their salesman constantly coming to my home and calling me along with endless mail solicitation. The answer is still NO.

Description of Work: Take away cobwebs and look for ants. They have regular service for me for 3 and a half years now. They come quarterly. They also have a termite warranty.

+ -1 moreService is fine. But don't bother with the annual package, they advertise that you save 5% by pre-paying; however, HomeTeam charges the regular amount to the account $104.70 per service resulting in a balance of 5% that needs to be paid at the end of the contract.

+ -1 moreIts fine. Its basically just some little tubes built into the walls. They come and put the pesticide or chemicals into the tubes, when they come. So they don't have to come inside the house. They also spray around the perimeter, and knock down spider webs. If there is an issue, we can let them know, so they can treat that as well. Also the same price.

+ -1 moreTheir prompt, they are professional, great communication, they are always let you know when they are coming and knock on your door and let you know I'm gonna be out here spraying.
Description of Work: They built into these houses a, it's like a tube that runs to the length of the house and they have an outlet where they spray what pesticide into that outlet and it goes not through the whole pipe ad it penetrates through the walls and stuff they don't come inside and spray the house they just do it through that outlet but then they spray all around the house and if I'm having any particular problem in one room or something they will come in and spray inside if I ask them to.

We have a quarterly maintenance agreement with Hometeam where they come out once every quarter to treat the exterior and interior of our home. The service technician (Eric) is always prompt and very courteous when he comes out. We have been using Hometeam for at least 2 years and haven?t had any major problems with pest in or around or home. The rate that we are charged is $101/quarterly for this service.

+ -1 moreThey did a great job! They come back and maintain it quarterly, but they'll come out and spray if you call, when you see any other pests. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: They came out to do a check on the pest system that was installed when our home was built. The system is a ventilation system inside the house, where the technicians can spray in pest treatments into the walls, from outside the home. They did an initial treatment for us.

+ -1 moreYou must prepay for an annual termite warranty. We paid in May and waited until mid-July and never heard from them at all even though the check was cashed in May. Called office in July and was told that there was only one guy working and he was really backed up. We requested a refund because no treatment was provided and none could even be scheduled. Was told a refund would be mailed in 7 days. Three - four weeks later we still haven't received a refund or letter rejecting our request or a call to schedule service. Called today to follow up and talked to Elton. He said that they would eventually schedule service and honor warranty for the home. We have since sold the home and don't have any documentation to provide new owner of the pre-paid warranty and treatment they are due to have eventually. Their customer service is unprofessional and a bit unethical in my opinion. I don't believe in paying for a service and not receiving it. Very disappointing and cannot recommend them to other users. If you chose to use Home Team then I would caution you from pre-paying for a service.
Description of Work: The provider accepted payment for termite treatment and warranty and nine weeks later they have yet to call to schedule service, mail us confirmation of requested service and warranty and are refusing a refund.

+ -1 moreI looked in AngiesList and saw HomeTeam's good ratingnd them my daughter told me they were the ones that did her house and is very pleased with them and recommended them. So who else could I call? I was well pleased that I called HomeTeam and was very pleased meeting Everett King and his team. /
Description of Work: I had termites swarming in a handicap bathroom. Home Team came out and verified they were termites but there was no damage. They checked outside along the walls but saw no signs of termites coming in or mud tubes coming up the outer walls. The 1/3 of the house in on a double slab and the rest has a crawl space. The team inspected the crawl space, incoming pipes and edge of slab. They saw not evidence of termites. They then sprayed a foam in the gap between the quarter round on the floor where there was a gap and looked like where the termites were coming in. There were no charge since they thought there were not active termites just a spring swarm looking for a home. They asked me to keep and eye on the bathroom and give them a call Monday.This was very different from other termite companies I talked to for they wanted to sign me up for full house treatment and quarterly inspectors and they were not cheap. I want to say Everett King and his team was very knowledgeable and did not try and talk me into buying unnecessary treatment or packages. We discussed options if I wanted to ask them to do something. I will recommend Everett King and the Home Team to anyone or business. We both will keep an eye on any future termite or any pest activity and choose an appropriate plan at that time if needed,

+ -1 moreI used HomeTeam Pest Defense which is on Angie’s List where I found them. I used them about few weeks ago. It’s an annual thing so it’s like 390 I think it was. They put down rodent bait traps and sprayed the outside for ants and other pest. They were responsive. They called me back quickly. Negotiate the original because I’m Angie’s List member and they gave me options how to pay quarterly or pay annually. All in one lump sum I paid annual lump sum. It was a contract so yeah I will use them.
Description of Work: HomeTeam Pest Defense did put a rodent bait traps and sprayed for ants and other pest.

+ -1 moreWe inherited HomeTeam service when we bought our house in November 2012. Coming from the north, we were not prepared for cockroaches the size of Nevada! As it turns out, our house was a month past due for treatment. I called the Home Team number the previous owner had left, and we have been totally satisfied with their service. Jose comes out every 3 months for our regular treatments, but then if I notice a bug or an issue, Jose makes a trip out to respray and recheck the house. With our house backing up to woods and a creek, I was sure I'd be calling Jose out at least once a week, but their products and their people must do the job correctly. Usually I only have to call once between regular service calls. I cannot speak for all of Home Team's people, but Jose is punctual and super polite. He is also respectful, not just of me and my family (and our dog!), but of our property as well. Also, when I call the office to have Jose come out in between, the office staff is super polite and friendly.
Description of Work: Sprayed inside and out for pests. Cleared spider webs around house. Treated the crawl space for pests as well.

+ -1 moreWe have been using Home Team Pest Defense for about 10 years.The office is usually prompt in returning calls and addressing inquiries. The service person leaves a detailed invoice of what was done during the visit . We have been happy with the service and very rarely do we get spiders/ants inside the house. We are happy with the service provided but the company removed our service person, Carnell, a few months ago without any warning to us. We would have appreciated a heads-up, as we had a long standing relationship with him, which I had conveyed to the office upon many occasions. We really liked having the same person year after year.
