Over the past years Holland Pest Control has been very professional to work with, always on time, helpful when needed. He goes above and beyond to solve the problem at hand.

Dereck does a great job! He's honest & stands behind his work. I'll definitely call him the next time I need pest control done.

The termite treatment went very smoothly and was completed in less time that I anticipated. The Holland team was punctual and made sure everything was back in order before they left my home. Had an appointment with the service provider to come and provide pest treatments to my home. I spoke with him on the phone he gave me a quote set up a time to come out and I took time from work to make sure I was there when he arrived. When I called to find out where he was he responded that not only was he not going to make the appointment but he stated that he didn't recall the conversation that we had until I spoke about specifics and then he said he vagely remembered the conversation. He was very agrumentative about being a no show he said " We can do one of two things either call another exterminatior we can come up with a another time but he was not going to put up with any more abuse from you." I ended the conversation

They were prompt, courteous, and thorough. Their price was very affordable, and he was very kind and easy to work with and schedule. We had such a good experience, that we would not hesitate to use them again.

I entered a contract to purchase my new house with only 14 days of due diligence on a Wednesday, and I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to find an inspector to complete the inspection with enough time to respond to the sellers. Happily, Dereck was able to come out to the property at the same time as the home inspector, the very next Saturday, though this is a day he normally does not work. Dereck did a great job-- he was friendly and thorough. My only reason for giving a lower mark on punctuality was that I had to request the inspection report after the fact.

I've been using this company for approximately 13-14 years and they are the only termite company in Charlotte metro area that I will use or recommend. I'm in real estate sales and use Holland Pest Control approximately 25-35 times a year for both inspections and exterminations (and they take care of my personal property also). They stand behind their work and do it right the first time. High quality and great customer service!!

Arrived on time. Asked questions to determine issues. Explained what he was going to do and did it. Expressed my concern about termites. He suggested an inspection rather than a treatment which saved me lots of money. Overall very pleased.

Dereck uses the best quality treatments, is very thorough, very polite, and shows up on time. Quite affordable too. He's been treating our house since we moved here last summer. As we were new to the South and weren't familiar with the kind of insect issues homeowners face here, he took the time to advise us on insects' behavior (for example, the BIG cockroaches always come in from outside) and how to keep them in check. The results have been very good and we'd recommend him to anyone.

We had already had a home inspection on a house we are considering buying, but we needed a termite inspection to apply for our loan and the loan officer wanted it asap! Derrick was able to come out next day and thoroughly inspect the house for wood eating bugs. He not only told us whether there were termites (there weren't), but also risk factors (some construction debris in crawlspace) and things probably keeping them out (damp crawlspace due to AC unit condensation). He recommended that we remove the debris and once the crawlspace was dried out completely, we treat all the structural beams against termites. His report was prompt and we were able to move forward with our loan.

He was polite, nice, and seemed to do a good job. He pointed out everything and was really prompt in preparing his report, I was impressed.

They are great. Their price is good. They are very helpful.

This was the second home he inspected for me- he does exactly what you want him to - checks perimeter of house- crawlspace - and attic as well as the rest of the house. Once he finished he wrote up the report and went over everything with me in person, making recommendations for the future on how to prevent problems and when to treat. Liked him enough at the first house we inspected (and walked away from) that we brought him back for the second one. Will use him for future treatments at the house. A professional and personable businessman.

They were quite good and professional.

When I first called Mr. Holland, he agreed to check my home for termites and to spray the exterior of my home for palmetto bugs. We made an appointment. When Mr. Holland did not show up for the appointment, I called and left a message on his cell phone. He never returned my call. I called and left a second message about a week later. He didn't return that call either. Needless to say, the work was never done. I have no idea why he didn't keep the appointment or why he hasn't called me back. I hope he is okay, because this seems out of character based on the other Angie's List reviews I've read.

Mr. Holland was very polite and honest about what to expect from the treatment. He gave me several hints on what to do and not to do to keep the palmetto bugs out. He did not try to sell me on any package deals and was careful to not infer that he would be the company I selected when he did mention future treatments. He just told me what to look for and what to expect. He asked me if he could thank whomever referred me to him, as most of his customers are referrals. I told him "Angie's List!"

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT I FEEL SO COMFORTABLE WITH HIM TO LEAVE HIM A KEY AND A CHECK. HE IS A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER, AND HE TAKES A LOT OF PRIDE IN HIS WORK. HE STANDS BY HIS WORK.

THE WORLD NEEDS MORE PEOPLE IN BUSINESS LIKE MR. HOLLAND. PROMPT, CLEAN, PROFESSIONAL, ANSWERED EVERY QUESTION IN A VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE MANNER. GREAT JOB. DETERMINED THAT I DID NOT NEED ANY WORK DONE. I WILL USE FOR MY YEARLY INSPECTION AND FOR ANY WORK THAT EVER NEEDS TO BE PERFORMED. DON'T LET THE LOW QUANTITY OF REPORTS DISCOURAGE YOU FROM USING HOLLAND PEST CONTROL. I AM CERTAIN THAT MANY PEOPLE USE THE MORE WELL KNOWN COMPANIES, DUE TO THOSE COMPANIES ADVERTISING. I CANNOT IMAGINE THAT ANY OF THE MORE WELL KNOWN COMPANIES IN THE AREA BEING ANY BETTER AND I AM CERTAIN THEY ARE PROBABLY MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE. DEFINITELY TRUST YOUR HOME TO HOLLAND PEST CONTROL. I WOULD RATE THEM A+++

WHEN DERRICK WAS FIRST RECOMMENDED TO US, WE HAD SERIOUS CONCERNS REGARDING THE KINDS OF CHEMICALS THAT WOULD BE USED BY ANY PEST CONTROL COMPANY, DUE TO A BABY AND PUPPY IN THE HOUSE. HE SPENT CONSIDERABLE TIME WITH ME ON THE PHONE, PROVIDING SPECIFICS ON THE PRODUCTS, CHEMICALS, THEIR EFFECTS AND WEB SITES THAT COULD PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. WE HAVE SINCE RECOMMENDED HOLLAND PEST CONTROL TO SEVERAL OTHERS WHO ARE ALL EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OF SERVICE PROVIDED.
