+ -1 moreGary and his team have taken good care of our yard for many years. When we first moved in the lawn/yard seemed to be fine and we were preoccupied with unpacking, new jobs, etc. We were happy the yard (magically?) needed no attention when everything else seemed to. After a month, we got the bill - Gary had been taking care of the yard since before we lived here, and kept it up. We have used his lawn service ever since and the yard continues to "take care of itself".
Description of Work: They keep the lawn mowed neatly, remove leaves as needed and make sure there is no yard debris on the paths, patio or driveway. They come weekly as needed. If they see a lawn issue Gary will let me know so it can be fixed.

+ 0 moreGary has been very responsive over the years in taking care of any issues that arise. If there was any mistakes (which are inevitable, we all make mistakes), he is very good about making it right and is very professional. I don't know about the price as I have not shopped around but it seems fair.

+ -1 moreVery well. As agreed, Gary and his crew cut back our five overgrown hollies into artful "sculptures" with no leaves. Three months or so later our hollies are greened up and healthy and much shorter, which is what we wanted. Gary (The Grass Barber) has also cut our lawn and taken care of our yard for many years, and does an excellent job. The yard always looks neat and clean and we never have to think about it.
Description of Work: Two trees trimmed, five gigantic two-story hollies dramatically cut back.

+ -1 moreGary always does an excellent job. His company comes out every week. I like that they come out all year round. I pay them on a monthly basis for the mowing and edging, anything I ask him to do is a little bit of extra work.
Description of Work: Grass Barber comes out to mow and edge my lawn. They come out on a weekly basis. I have used Grass Barber for the past eight years.

HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT PROPER LAWN CARE, AND ABOUT CARE OF SHRUBS AND TREES. HE HAS GOOD EQUIPMENT THAT IS WELL MAINTAINED. HIS PRICES ARE COMPETITIVE; WORKS ON THE BASIS OF A MONTHLY AMOUNT FOR THE FULL 12-MONTH YEAR. WORKS PRIMARILY IN SOUTH CHARLOTTE. WE HAVE USED GRASS BARBER FOR OVER 5 YEARS, AND RATE THIS SERVICE EXCELLENT. *MONTHLY COST FOR BASIC LAWN MOWING SERVICE FOR OUR 1/2 ACRE YARD IS $145; OTHER SERVICES SUCH AS FERTILIZATION AND SHRUB TRIMMING ARE EXTRA.
