My name is Robert Iannucci CKD/CKBR. I have locally owned & Operated Goldstar Kitchen & Bath Inc. since 1989. I am a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) thru NKBA as well as a Certified Kitchen & Bath Remodeler (CKBR) thru NARI who maintain a strict code of ethics which we strive to exceed. I have been in the Kitchen & Bath Design & Remodeling industry for over 20 yrs. I know all aspects of remodeling, but specialize in Kitchen & Baths.

Description of Work: Workmanship quality was excellent and they did a large project which we're very happy with the results, but I wish the proposal had been more transparent since we ended up spending WAY more than we anticipated this project would cost because the proposal didn't include a lot of items that we needed to purchase such as appliances, lighting fixtures/fans and cabinet hardware that were not included in the proposal. I also wish they did painting and staining.

Description of Work: The Gold Star guy came out to our home. He went over the scope of our project. He was kind enough to take measurements, debate the counter top choices, and lighting details. He told us he would work on a quote and get back to us shortly. After a week of waiting he told us he was not licensed in Fort Mill. With 20 years experience you think he would have know he wasn't licensed in our area. Why would he waste his time and ours. I was very disappointed with the his professionalism.

We felt that telling these people that we are not licensed in there area was the nicest way of letting them know that we did not want to work with them. We as contractors sometimes choose our clients as much as they choose us. This couple had unrealistic ideas with an unreasonable budget. They were both on opposites sides of the fence with there ideas & expectations & I felt that there was no way we were going to make them happy. Sorry!
