FRYE'S AIR DUCT CLEANING

I contacted Frye's duct cleaning to inquire about services and fees after we had been told by a friend that the dust buildup in our home could be due to improper air return function in our duct system. We also have pets that shed and felt it would be a good idea to have this service performed. When I called, I spoke with Amy and she told me that she and her husband Don owned the company. She was very personable and answered all my questions. She got us scheduled quickly and Don, Paul and Ben came out within a week to do the work. They arrived on time and were very professional. I was told the job would take about 3-4 hours start to finish and they finished in exactly 3 hours. The cost of the job was exactly what Amy quoted me over the phone. I was very pleased with the quality of their work and their wonderful attitudes. They draped all of their work surfaces and there was minimal amount of noise. There was no mess and they even put the candles and figurines back in place when they were done!

Don and his team did an outstanding job at my home. They arrived on time, showed outstanding attention to detail and respected my home and its surroundings. They went above and beyond the work that was contracted for when they discovered that the air conditioning vent in my crawl space had fallen off the home. They reconnected the system at no additional charge, where an AC professional may have charged as much as $300 for a service call and the same work at my home. Don personally explained everything that they were doing and helped me feel very comfortable with the systems and the work that they were doing to benefit these systems. I found the whole experience to be a delight and I will definitely call them back when future service is needed. There were not hidden fees or attempts to up sell, which was very refreshing. Work was completed as scheduled. They arrived on time, were neat and professional. The upstairs main duct junction box was already very clean. Don reduced the cost since he did not have as much work to do for the upstairs. I would recommend them.

It went very well. This is a family business that values their customers and reputation. The office person explained everything in great detail, how they clean air ducts, extra services they provide such as duct sealing and taping which is included, the equipment they use and why, and how long it should take. Service guys were on time, courteous, friendly, and clean. We have a 60's ranch with supply and return ducts in every room, so the flat rate up to 10 ducts plus $10/duct after that pricing model worked well for us. And boy did they need cleaning, may have never been cleaned.

The owner and his son spent over 4 hours at the house. We couldn't believe the amount of lint and 2 bird nests they removed from our dryer vent. Mr. Frye said it was one of the worst he's ever seen! The vent has not been cleaned for at least the 7 years we've owned the house. The difference in the efficiency of our dryer is amazing. There is a smaller intake register upstairs that I had never really thought about, so, I was embarassed to learn there was a 12x12 filter I had never replaced. Mr.Frye was nice enough to clean and put back the old filter until I could buy a replacement. I was pleased with the professionalism of both Mr.Frye and his son. There was no mold in our ductwork so we didn't need any extra treatment. They did a great job and we feel safer using the dryer with all of that flammable lint gone!

This company was very professional, timley and followed through on everything that was promised. They worked very clean and did their job very well. You can tell that they take pride in their work and within thier customer service. Top Notch.

Don and Paul are retired Charlotte city firemen and total gentlemen. Don, the owner, explained the work to be done and what we could expect from his air duct cleaning services. They both took off their shoes and placed plastic sheets down to protect the carpet (recently shampooed) from any dirt or debris. It took them several hours, working at the main furnace system area and all the room vents. The house was as immaculate when they left as when they arrived. Don even gave me a $25 military discount for my service as a Marine Corps officer, which was totally unexpected but very much appreciated. We have noticed much less dust in the house since the work was done on March 19. I waited a week to see if I could notice a difference before sending in this report. We definitely do. It's no wonder they have so many "A" reports on Angie's List. It's completely deserved.

Their price was very reasonable. They did a very good job. Since we are Angie's List members, they cleaned our dryer vents for free. They also did a nice job cleaning up after themselves.

Very pleased with the services provided by Frye's. The woman (I believe his wife) that scheduled the appointment was very kind, courteous and helpful in explaining exactly what services would be performed and how much each would cost. I did some price comparisons with other vendors highly recommended on Angie's List, and his pricing was very much in line with the others. On the day of service, he and his assistant were very considerate of being clean and thorough--they first placed down cloth throws throughout the areas of the house where the duct cleaning equipment would be used, so that no disturbance was made to the house at all. He was very thorough in explaining all the services to be performed, especially when I asked questions about the process. As a special service to Angie's List members, he completed cleaning of the dryer vent for no charge, which was in dire need of service. I'd highly recommend Frye's--they did a great job and were very professional and courteous!

The owner, Don Frye and his son arrived right on time and spent more than 4 hours cleaning. They were careful not to track or get dirt in the house. Mr. Frye seemed knowledgeable, professional and reliable.

Could not have been happier with the level of service provided by Don. He was very friendly and professional, and was happy to explain the process and the equipment used to perform the job. They took care to lay down drop-cloths throughout the house to protect the floors and keep any dust dirt left behind to a minimum. They were on time (early even!) and provided a complete and thorough service! I'd highly recommend them to anyone considering a residential cleaning.

This company is exemplary. They were punctual, cordial, professional, and very conscientious about making certain that they did not damage or dirty anything in or around the house. They did an excellent job and were careful to explain the reasons for everything they did. The company's principal (Don Frye) was involved with the job himself and performed much of the work. I would unreservedly recommend Frye's Air Duct Cleaning.

The work went very well. Craig and Paul explained things thoroughly, were very courteous and performed very well. The job took around 3.5 hours. The cleaned considerable debris out of my ducts. They showed me evidences of the dust that had collected over many years. They also showed me evidences of the mold. I am hoping this will resolve allergic reactions my family members have had.

Called the office for an estimate. Received full explanation of procedure. We had concerns about it affecting our newborn (dust, etc) and were told that all dust/debris is sent directly to the truck. Work was scheduled for the following week. On the date of service, Craig and Paul showed up on time and were very efficient and informative. They did a great job and were very courteous. They cleaned the dryer vent and explained that the build up was a fire hazard. I feel much better knowing that it has now been cleaned out. When they were finished everything was clean, no dust/debris anywhere in the house. Very nice company and I would recommend them to anyone needing this type of work. We were told that our vents should be cleaned again in about 5 years and we plan to use this company at that time.

Such nice gentlemen. Mr. Craig and Mr. Paul were very professional and polite from start to finish. Explained in detail the entire process, and showed how and where work would be done. Very, very clean in their work! Floor protectors put down prior to work being done. Actual family owners do the work. My vents and returns look amazingly clean in comparison to before. I was very pleased all the way around, from making the appointment and speaking with Angie through completion. Would definitely call again and highly recommend their company. Did a great job! Very well. Two gentlemen arrived on time, as scheduled. They cleaned each of my systems. They were at my home for approximately four hours. They checked for mold. They informed me I need to repeat the process every ten years.

It was an excellent experience. Mr. Frye was there in person! Very good job, very personable, and very friendly. They know exactly how to do their job and how to treat a customer. We recommend them to everyone! You will be surprised (and disgusted) at how dirty your ducts are.
