Finishing Touches Construction

We had an appointment set for 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22nd. He called about 12:30 p.m. and wanted to know if he could come by earlier because he was in the area. I work about 30 minutes away so I had my brother meet him to accommodate his schedule. He looked at what we wanted done and said that he would get back in touch with a quote. After a week of not hearing from him, I e-mailed him and ask if he had a quote ready for us. He never responded to the e-mail and never submitted a quote. If he was not interested in doing the job, he could have at least responded that he was not interested. A poor way to do business.

Roger was prompt and his men were capable. I had bought 4 hours time but needed to order another part for one door so he left before all the time was used. When the new part came in, he came back and installed using the previous credit. Very professional and considerate. I would use again.

My husband and I could not be more pleased with our new bathroom. We feel like we are in a nice hotel every time we use it. This is probably nothing different from anyone who has a home improvement project completed. But our experience probably is different because we had a tight budget and weren't going to spend more. The thing about Roger that was different was this: he listened. While others had given us estimates of $16K and $13K for our 1,100 square foot house, Roger suggested we purchase the fixtures and fittings and his guys would install them. He offered suggestions about our questions in person and via email. He sent me an estimate promptly. It was so reasonable. (The total cost was $5000. Who gets a new bathroom for that price? And it looks great!) I let Roger know when I placed the order and he scheduled us. He offered to pick up the items (no extra charge) and his guys worked for four days. They were courteous and cleaned up after themselves daily. When the job was done and paid for we noticed two minor issues. They were taken care of the following day (a Saturday) to our satisfaction. This is the way it's supposed to work...a conscientious business owner, a hard-working professional crew, and a happy customer. We've already gotten an estimate for the next improvement project.

Roger was a pleasure to work with. Great at understanding the repair issues we had and coming up with solutions. His crew was the best. Very skilled and hard-working, always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the job. We felt very comfortable having them in our home and have already scheduled more work to be completed by this company later in the year.

Very prompt and courteous. Covered the walls, furniture etc. with plastic and trimmed and then rolled the ceiling. Excellent trim work. Felt confident enough to run an errand while they worked. Very nice gentlemen. Ron Garcia was prompt as well when initial quote was given.

The workmanship was outstanding.

We were so happy Finishing Touches agreed to come because we knew the work would be flawless - the design, the construction, and the painting. Our hopes were exceeded beyond measure. They added detailed millwork to two 20' high walls and made them look incredible. They worked tirelessly to perfect imperfections in the ceiling, drywall, and did major repairs on the stair risers (recently refinished and old staples from removed carpet and painted everything in our house - trim, ceilings, walls (more than 5000 sq. ft.) The house went from boring and blah to AMAZING. Our friends and neighbors are speechless over the changes and we are so grateful. Also, Roger's crew can handle almost any task we have ever presented to them (major bathroom remodels, laundry room remodels, millwork, painting, electrical), but Roger is so resourceful to help put you in touch with the right people to help meet your needs (structural engineer, cabinetmaker, window repair - just to name a few) in case it is not his area of expertise. We wish we could move Roger and his crew here permanently!

I didn’t feel like they were very reliable, I took a day off of work for my appointment and they never showed up.

When he came to the house , I had the wood that he had to cut. I have leaf guard gutters so he had to go get another ladder to hand the gutter on in order to replace the wood. I was very pleased with his work.

We were very pleased and thankful for Roger's quick response and scheduling before a house showing the same week. Very punctual, affordable and professional for both the quote and service.

Team that came was professional and worked non-stop. Everyday the area was cleaned up until they were done. This is a huge area to be painted. They did it with brushes instead of spraying or rolling on. Everything was very neat and well done. I cant express enough how pleased we were with the work. The owner came by on several occasions to make sure things were going right. We are very pleased with the results.

Slider panel rod came out of wall @ middle when I hung panels.Roger's response was maybe the panels were too heavy,thats why I called & payed a professional,i had hung them originally,& middle support came out of wall.We do not use this door because of dogs,so that is not an issue.Motion detector was not programed,so it comes on randomly & I can not reach it.One of rods in BR is crooked,could also have done that myself,thats why I hired a pro.The ceiling fan is fine as is towel bar.There were some screws &washers left on floor,where fan was installed, that I do not know where thy belong.They came @ 9 left @ 11,were supposed to b there @ 8:30,that was not a problem,but when Roger an coworker arrived he announced that I paid for 4 hours & there was 2 of them so ,that would count as the 4 hrs. One man was doing the work,not each working on a project.I purchased deal in Feb.they could not come till May,I understood they were busy & projects were not emergencies.I feel I could have all this work done by Eager Beaver,who I have also used,for $65.instead of the $138."deal"I purchased & saved $73.& would not have to have it done over

Everything was excellent and they were very professional.

Was on time, very quick and efficient and cleaned up after themselves.I was very pleased with the service. Because they had offered a special deal on Angie's list, and were somewhat overwhelmed by the response, it took several weeks to get an appointment, but once that was established they were very efficient and thorough.

Finishing Touches Construction did an excellent job with all of the repairs that we requested help with. They came prepared to do all of the work without knowing ahead of time what we would ask. I was very impressed with their professionalism and how quickly they were able to fix all of our requests. Thank you!

Roger is my favorite contractor - EVER! He is always so prompt, respectful, and professional. He values his customer's time and money. Finishing Touches Construction has done all of the work on my house - painting, remodeling two bathrooms, a laundry room, millwork in addition to many smaller projects. We were able to sell our house on the first day thanks to the work he and his crew did for us to get it ready for new buyers. His work is so impressive that even our realtor asked for his contact information and has already referred him to other clients. When Roger and his crew are at your house, they always make sure to respect your home with their words and their mannerisms. Their price is always fair, but their work is always exceptional. I've used Roger on many different occasions and have never been anything except perfectly pleased. His crew can do any job and Roger will make sure you are completely happy with their work. You won't ever regret using Finishing Touches Construction!

He rushed through the jobs because he said he was busy. I have had to have someone come out to fix his work. He reattached the shutter by it nailing back up using the same hole that was originally used. It is loose again. The solar light didn't work the same night he fixed it. I would not use him again.

The provider was very courteous and professional, and did high quality work in record time.

It went very well. At first he thought a higher quality wax ring would solve the leakage problem, but discovered the concrete under the toilet was uneven. He was able to chisel down and smooth the concrete. The original wax ring had failed and was not appropriate for the spacing the laminate flooring needed. The work was done professionally, with a good clean up.

He was fantastic. He was actually really from California and we were surprised that we found a contractor. We had a swarm of people, contractors that were recommended to us and they came over and they did the job and just could not get back to us or just for effort to give us information or they gave us long information. When this guy came in, he just went and got it done. He knew what he was doing, quick about getting it done, and we commit with him. We just knew he was the guy to deal with, he's just in California too. He have the kind of get it done attitude, both of us do and instead of I don't need to think about I could get mature license, they're a little slower there in getting things done and this guy quickly got it done. They were efficient. When they said they were going to be there, they were there. He always took my call, if I ever called him in and may not answer the phone but he's always on the job. If he did get the call and it went to voice mail, he'd call me within 15 months, that's service. He was excellent.

It went well; he came on time and did excellent work. His painting ability is phenomenal, especially for trim. He is detail oriented and I would use him again.

Roger and his crew were awesome.They arrived each morning on time and worked all day. Each job was doneprofessionally and beautifully. My kitchen is a showplace! They cleaned up every day. Everyone was polite, patient and friendly. They made the mess of remodel tolerable. I love going into and working in my kitchen now. I would highly recommend Roger and Finishing Touches Construction, and plan to have him return soon to do additional work.

I had bought the big deal for some handyman work. Roger was quick to respond to my inquiry and questions. He came over to look at the work and give me additional estimates. I had to order some cabinet matching material so it took some time but we finally got the work done yesterday. Roger was always quick to respond to my questions via text messages. He brought in 2 guys yesterday to get the work done and they were very detailed and professional. Very happy with the cabinet fixing and pull out drawer installation work that was completed. I have asked Roger for more estimates and looking forward to calling him back for more work. Thanks Roger.

He has not scheduled the job six weeks later.
