We needed help with our outside deck. It needed staining and new patio furniture. Joanie really helped us transform the deck. She picked out a lovely stain that was different but classic. She also helped us with choosing patio furniture and defining our space. We absolutely love our deck! In fact, we just put our house up for sale and the buyers wanted our patio furniture to stay with the house! Joanie, has helped us with a lot of projects in our house. When we put it up for sale, we had 3 buyers within 2 days and they all loved our home and commented that it looked like a model home-all thanks to Joanie!

Joanie came out with her color samples and gave us some good ideas for coordinating our open floor plan. She used color schemes of our preference and offered a few decorating tips. She was prompt, friendly and presented very professional. We would definitely use her again.

Joanie with Falling Water is fantastic! My husband and I knew we were ready for a few home interior improvements, but we had no idea where to start. Dear Angie, This is a follow-up to a submission we made in May 2011. At that time, we very highly recommended Fallingwater LLC and Joanie McGrath to those who wish to bring their surroundings to a new level. Joanie is a joy to work with. Not only does she have an amazing eye for design, she also listens to what is important to you. She recommended a painter, custom cabinet maker, lighting store, and supplier of area rugs. All of her recommendations have been outstanding.

Joanie did an incredible job. She oversaw every aspect of the job. She met with us to determine our tastes, then offered her opinions. She gave us conservative options and also "wow factor" options. We decided on the "wow factor" option and it is everything we dreamed it would be. She was dead on. We originally thought of just updating the house but have decided to stay because of her help. We are hoping to have her back to help decorate the rest of the house. We are planning on updating the basement and she will be the only decorator we will call. She is a master at incorporating our idea's into an inviting and usable room. Thank you very much for making our house a home.

Our overall experience was great.

Joanie did an excellent job with our new home. She met with us multiple times to help us select and decide on paint colors, furniture, carpet, hardwood floor color, shutters, bathroom remodel, and eventually home staging. At every step, she was extremely helpful and gave us really great advice that we would not have thought of on our own. Our house looks amazing. We didn't have a large budget and she was able to work with that. She does have expensive taste, but she definitely prefers quality items, understandably. She was always professional during our meetings and maintained a positive attitude throughout. She definitely knows what she's doing, so just know that you can trust her through the whole process and the outcome will be great. We definitely recommend her!

My son struggles with autism spectrum disorder. Joan was terrific working with him and lowered his stress by making his apartment much more organized.

Joanie has a great eye and was able to make major improvements using only what we already have. She never suggested that we buy anything new. We agreed that some re-upholstery would be helpful and she offered to provide us with contacts when we are ready to take this on. She is a consummate professional. She is also full of positive energy and a pleasure to work with.

Joanie came to our home shortly after we moved in to help us select paint colors & decide the best furniture placement. She was spot on as far as paint color choices - we couldn't be happier. Definitely worth the cost of her services to be satisfied with a $3500 paint job. Window treatment suggestions were helpful but a little out of our budget at this point. She was very pleasant & professional, and followed up with us.

I emailed for a quote, and was very clear that I was facing a hording issue and needed help not only staging to sell my home, but also clearing out the accumulated stuff; either for donations or resale. Our phone conversation was very lovely, and I was so happy and relieved to find someone who seemed so competent and would help me through the process. Instead, I was referred to one person after another after another, none of whom wanted to help me with what I needed. I was not looking for a real estate agent, and didn't need anyone to tell me that I needed to declutter. I know that! That's why I was looking for help. What I got was the "thanks for callling, Let me give you soneone else who can help you" dance. What a waste of time and energy.

We were thinking about remodeling our kitchen & wanted advice. Joanie not only gave us good sound advice about the remodel of the kitchen, but other areas of the house & what to look for in contractors & products. She gave us ideas that we never would have thought of on our own. We were very pleased with all the good information!

Joanie was awesome. She spent two hours with us and by the end of those two hours we had moved a ton of furniture, switched out artwork, removed some rugs, etc. After moving things based on her advice our main level has a much better look and feel. Every time we walk into the rooms either my wife or I comment on how great things look. We have always had this 130-year old dining set from my wife's mom's grandmother. It is too big for our dining room so the pieces always looked awkward when I placed them in various parts of different rooms. Joanie came up with a plan that works great and for the first time I actually like that furniture. Plus, she saved me from having to buy a couple thousand dollars worth of furniture or adding on to my house, which were the only alternatives that I could come up with before she helped us.

Joanie (Falling Water) is GREAT! She handled everything including helping us to find a general contractor (and used some of the SUB-contractors for painting,plantation shutter installation,and having custom bench cushions made). AND she would come to the house to make sure things were done correctly (actually more so than our general contractor did). She does have expensive taste..but so do I when i can afford it :) Hiring Joanie has been well worth it! - and she's still going to be doing some more work for us when we have to RE-DO the horrible original remodel of our next room/project!

Perfect from start to finished. Never complain & with such advise and counsel our listings have sold more quickly. Based on recommendations Falling Water made. We have used them for 15-20 clients and will continue to use them for for the staging purposes for homes that we list on the market.
