Jeffrey Gilmore and his team were excellent as my wife and I were buying our first home! Our agent David Tasillo was readily available and eager to answer our many questions at any time of day and even on the weekends! He made sure we were well-informed and making the best decision for us on our timeline, making the process easy and straightforward, and as stress-free as possible. Our loan closed on time (though we had the option to close earlier if we wanted), with lower closing costs and lower monthly payment than initially expected! David also helped us work through a first time home-buyer program through the state, helping us navigate through the additional paperwork. His enthusiasm and assistance cannot be overstated!

Fairway Mortgage is a crucial partner when you go through the home buying process! What I most appreciated was the spreadsheet they provided that showed both the monthly and overall difference in money paid depending on the down payment amount. This helped us to determine our cash flow needs from one house to the next so we could make our new house became our family home. However, that spreadsheet would not have been that helpful if it weren't for the friendly, supportive, and easy to work with staff who made sure to modify it to fit our needs. Thank you Jeff! My only regret, taking so long to write this review.

Buying a home with Fairway and working Jeff was an absolute excellent experience! It can be a little unnerving the first time you purchase a home and you might be full of questions like I was... Jeff and his team were not only expecting this but they were actually ready for it! They had videos explaining things, emails, phones calls and these really awesome excel sheets with built in formulas which understanding the numbers, and adjusting the numbers, about as easy as it gets. Can't say enough great things about Jeff and his team, I HIGHLY recommend them!

I have dealt with Jeff Gilmore for the past 4 years and he has help on two separate transactions. Jeff and his team were great to work from the start. Jeff is reliable as he calls you when he tells you that he will call, he responds to e-mails in a very timely manner and is quick to lay out your options and any roadblocks he anticipates you may encounter. He does his best to help keep you within your budget. A very nice option is that when selecting a plan he sends a spreadsheet with all of your options. We discusses each with a voice-over which clarifies the amount due at closing, monthly payments, PMI, current rates, etc. A very nice feature. Easy to rate them 5 stars. A great teams. Thanks Jeff.

GREAT ! ! Hello everyone, first and foremost to start with is how our experience with Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp. was a blessing for me and Maria, so this not going to be a short review. I was introduced to Hunter via a contact at our bank (yes, can you imagine...our bank was less than helpful nor did they express any personal interest about our request for a mortgage). Sight unseen, Hunter reached out to me. After our first phone conversation I had that wonderful feeling that our dream was possible. You all know the aggravation & heartache that can come with making the biggest purchase of our lives. Hunter allayed all my misgivings and gave me hope that it was possible to live our dream. We were on a short timeline as the house we had leased, for 7 years, was, in a 2 month period, not going to be ours to live in any longer. The owner decided, at the last minute, to move in and sell in a couple of years. Searching for a new home to lease was easy. What was not easy was finding the quality of home & neighborhood we had become accustomed to. Low and behold, a beautiful landscaped property and all brick home was for sale just a block away. We set our sights on purchasing. Today, Maria and I are the proud owners of our dream home. Hunter & Jim, along with our wonderful realtor, guided us through the purchase process, showed unlimited compassion for our getting this home and it did in fact it did happen. In less than 6 weeks beginning to end (that's the original contact phone call to closing). No quibbling happened with anyone. Both Hunter & Jim worked hand in hand with both realtors, previous owners, etc involved in this purchase. I don't think there could have been a better team to have worked with. It was an amazing first time experience, the team is so well educated and informs you at every step of the way and we had no surprises during the entire process!

My family and I were in an extremely dire situation when our realtor put us in contact with Jeff Gilmore and his team and what they accomplished for us was nothing short of miraculous! Like many other families I’d imagine, we started the mortgage process with our main financial institution and the process was a nightmare! We were passed around from department to department, from one account rep to another and after several months of working with them and getting about 90% done, we found out a day before we closed on the home we were living in, which was a condition of theirs to approve our mortgage, that our loan packet had just been sitting on a desk while people were on vacation, and in fact there were some minor underwriting guidelines that made our mortgage on the home we were supposed to be moving into null. That phone call was heartbreaking, we would literally be homeless the next day and we couldn’t for the life of us understand how we were no more than a stack of papers on someone’s desk that got forgotten about! Our realtor immediately put us in contact with Jeff. He briefed his team on our situation and they got to work! It felt like their whole office adopted our family and made it their life’s mission to help mine! They called, emailed and kept in contact with us almost every day and they were able to do in just 2-weeks what the bank failed to do in over 2 months! Jeff and his team took care of us! We closed on our dream home and got an excellent rate too! We couldn’t be more appreciative of the Gilmore team, not just for their impeccable service but more so for their confident and consistent reassurance and communication with us the whole time. The Gilmore team has customers, in us, for life!

Having worked with a lot of mortgage firms on many purchases over the years, I know the difference that good service makes. The transaction I did with Jeff Gilmore, and team, was hands down the best experience I've ever had. They were extremely thorough, available when I needed them, prompt to respond to all correspondence and more knowledgable than any broker I've ever met! Jeff was phenomenal at laying out my options in a straight-forward way and working with me on finding the best one to suit my needs. If I could give Jeff Gilmore and team 6 stars I would! I was blown away from my first interaction with this company. Jeff Gilmore spoke with me and answered all of my questions in an upfront and honest manner. He was professional and polite. I felt like I was dealing with a family friend from the minute I spoke with on the phone. I stressed the importance of needing to close on time and he assured me there would be no problems. Jeff and his team put together a video presentation that was custom made to me and my family. My wife and I reviewed the video and were able to ask questions. Jeff used this video to provide with me over 6 different loan options that I qualified for. His goal was to help me pick the best loan for my family's need. I was impressed that I had the liberty to pick different options. I was able to pick which rate I wanted and explained to me the advantages and disadvantages of buying the rate down. We also discussed options that would lower my closing cost. In the end, I was able to pick the exact loan that was the perfect fit for my needs and my goals. Jeff the followed up with me regularly to ensure I was of the progress my loan had made. Our goal was to sell our prior home and close on that one morning, then buy the new home that Fairway was helping us with that same day but in the afternoon. The sale of our home was delayed seven different times. However, Jeff and his amazing team at Fairway, were clear to close on my new home well over two weeks early. It was not issue for them to move the closing date back and they just rolled with the punches. We closed on time with Fairway even though we had to keep backing it up due to the other home. I wish the people buying my old home had used Fairway but I can't control that. I was an employee for a major bank for 10 years and I didn't trust them to handle my loan with the level of dedication and care that I placed in Fairway Independent Mortgage. I trusted Fairway and the far exceeded every one of my expectations. The entire transaction was flawless, smooth, well communicated, and extremely accurate. This is the way business should be done. They eliminated all of the stress associated with buying a home and I would never buy a home from anyone else. Amazing job!
