They did a great job. The only reason I rated their punctuality as a "B" was because they had to help another client with an emergency. The client had pulled accidentally pulled out an outlet box while remodeling. They were very apologetic.

On January 5, Sears incorrectly wired a new microwave including bolting down only one side and incorrectly wiring it. Due to only one bolt, it fell down onto the range and broke both. The contractor ( who was not a Sears contractor) saw that the wiring was incorrect. I contacted Sears and have gotten the run around from them since July 6 (no microwave or stove even though their technician said it was the installers fault). The wiring is now up to par thanks to EMF.

Leon and Mike were very thorough in their work. Measured carefully, explained what they were doing, cleaned up the area when they were done. They were courteous and professional. They were scheduled to come at 9am and ran late because of an office move taking place. I had to call at 9:30 to ask if they were on the way. Leon explained the situation and apologized. They arrived around 10am. Unexpectedly, they said Mike could patch the drywall (which we had planned to do ourselves) - he did not have the materials with him but used some of the items we had bought for the job. It is a 3-step process so we'll need to finish, but he was able to get it started and get the major work out of the way. Regarding the price/estimate info I provided: I called Leon and explained by phone what I was trying to do. In his defense, he did not provide an estimate on site, but over the phone he said he thought it would be about $125. Obviously the patching was an added expense. The total price was $250 and I saved another 10% with the Angie's List discount. I asked if the electrical work was more work than he expected, since we had discussed something lower by phone, and he said the patch is why the cost went up. That would make the patching $125 (seems high). $250 may be reasonable for the work I had done (they worked ~2 hours), I just had expected the price to be a bit lower.

Very good. They responded the same day I called them, went to Lowe's for the type of switch I wanted. It all took about 1 hour.

Leon met with us first to give us an estimate. He then sent two of his electricians out to do our job. They were punctual, friendly and professional. We had no difficulty contacting Leon to schedule all job visits-he was very easy to work with as were his electricians. We would highly recommend EMF Electric for any electrical service.

Tech arrived quickly on site after issue was reported. Very professional and helpful. Quickly determined issue was due to power coming in from the utility company as it appeared one of the 2 power legs had stopped providing power. Would certainly add them to the short list of qualified electricians in the area.

Great! I called Leon at 7:30am on a Friday morning in a slight panic since the refrigerator's outlet was also dead, and he was at my house by 9am. He walked me through everything he was doing, tested circuit panel, outlets, wiring, etc. to determine the culprit of lack of power flow. He was in and out in an hour, with power back on.

What a pleasure to deal with such professionals! I would highly recommend this company for anything that you needed electrically.

Showed up on time (even a little early). Leon, Mike and Eric were very professional and friendly. They clearly communicated throughout the process. Would recommend to friends and family.

They were very friendly and prompt service. I felt very comfortable with them in my home while I was gone, there estimate was very accurate. They were very professional.

They arrived on time to do the work asked of them. The quality of their work was good. I would use them in the future. They were professional while they were working. They cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them.

I was very nervous about them having to drill through our brand new natural stone backsplash, go under the house into the crawlspace to join all the wires and go through the garage wall for the junction box. It went wonderfully! All aspects went just as planned by Leon. When they were finished the only thing I was disappointed about was that the over the sink fixture which I had OKed was a bluish fluorescent light and the under-the-cabinet ones were golden hued. I mentioned it and within minutes Leon arrived with EVERY type fluorescent bulb available and told me to pick which one I liked. He cheerfully replaced the bluish one and the result was spectacular. That's service! AND with a smile! Couldn't be happier.

Everything was done cleanly, carefully and perfectly, with lots of respect for the house! Leon is simply the best in Charlotte. We have had him do various electrical projects for us over the past 5 years and every job has always been done to perfection. He is extremely careful, capable, and a perfectionist. We have a historic home and would not trust anyone else.

They were very prompt in responding to my phone call and arriving. They completed the project in less than 30 minutes. Only charged me for the labor and because of Angie's List did not charge us for the part.

I contacted EMF shortly before Christmas to repair two outlets in my kitchen. I spoke with Leon Shanklin and we made arrangements for him to come within the next couple of days. He arrived on time and was able to quickly access the problem and gave me some important information explaining the problem and how he would fix it. Leon was very thorough and extremely knowledgeable about electrical systems. I certainly appreciated being told what the problem was especially after told me if the box had been in my attic, my house could have caught on fire. He was very personable and his work ethic was excellent--I highly recommend him to anyone!

EMF Electric worked as a sub-contractor for Case Handyman & Remodeling, so the cost of the job is an estimate including labor and materials. We were delighted with all aspects of their work.

We had used this company once before, so we knew how good of a job they can do. They did not disappoint us at all. They showed up on time. We had a very friendly conversation with the boss. He did a call back to us to make sure that we had no problems with the work his guys did. They were very inexpensive; one of the cheapest in our area.

We can say that the time management skills of this company s workers were excellent. These guys were not only on time, but they were a little early. They were very well kept and had a kind demeanor to them. The people we dealt with from that company were very respectable. We were especially pleased with how fast they had the work completed. I think they only thing we would even remotely say in the negative about them was that the price was not the best we found, but we were very pleased none the less.

Our sunroom is absolutely beautiful. I can not think of a single thing that they could have done differently when they built it for us. They got the whole thing done in two weeks or so. I am happy, as none of the panels leak and I just love the way it looks.

The gentleman that was here at my home did an excellent job with everything. I remember them well. They did an awesome job making sure everything was just perfect. Of course, these men were sub contracted out through my contractor and the price was included in the total price of the sun-room. The total price of the sun-room was somewhere in the upper thousands. I have no problems with this work at all. I enjoyed the service and I would have them back.

When they did the electrical work, everything seemed fine. But now the switch to turn on and off the fan does not work. We called them and they came back. They told us that they would charge us to fix it. They said the box was bad. They said we should go back to Home Depot to have them switch it out for us. I just was not satisfied with their response. It still is not fixed. We did not pay this company directly. But whatever the cost was, it was too much.

They were extremely quick with the installation. We already had the generator so it was just a matter of hooking it up to the electrical box safely and that they sure did. It works great and we have had to use it a couple of times already. I recommend them as they are professional and do quality work.

We were happy with the job they did for us. The builder hired them to come out. I had an outlet that was not working and they sent a guy out to fix it the same day. I felt they did a great job even if they were subcontracted on the job. I paid $20,000 for the 10 X 11 foot sunroom and they paid the electrician for me so I don't know how much the bill was.

We were extremely pleased with the electrical work that was done for us. The employees were friendly. The services were outstanding. I can not specifically comment on the prices because my wife paid that bill, but they were reasonable. That much I remember.

This was a big project and I must say EMF accomplished their task very well. They were always on schedule, the people were great, and I could not have been more pleased than this. I feel that this was a really good investment for my home and I am happy to have had it completed by such nice people. I would without question have these people back into my home again.
