It went very well. The work is beautiful, Erick was prompt and kept everything clean during the entire process.

Eric did a tremendous job completing a full sand, stain, and poly on approximately 1200 square feet of wood flooring. From the initial quote to completion of the project, Eric communicated progress on the project daily. The project took about 3-4 working days. I would've expected to pay quite a bit more to get the professionalism and finished product Eric provided. I would recommend EM Flooring to any friend or family member. Excellent. We were not living in the house at the time and Eric kept us updated daily on the progress. The movers scratched our new floor and Eric made a service call at no additional charge to repair. My floors are beautiful! My husband and I highly recommend Eric's company.

I now have the most beautiful hardwood floors I've ever seen! My old, worn down floors look like brand new and I absolutely love the dark walnut stain color. EM Hardwood Flooring Inc. did a great job from start to finish and were consistently responsive and professional. The owner, Eric, always answered my calls or texts right away and was very helpful in choosing the best stain color for my home. I definitely would hire them again and would recommend them to anyone who wanted to refinish their hardwood floors.

I called Erick to ask him to come and give me an estimate to install hardwood floors in a Master bed, walking closets, a hallway and a small bedroom. He didn't seem particularly interested over the phone, but we set up an appointment for a week later. Everything was confirmed by text, so there was no confusion about the day and time. I was home more than half an hour before the appointment. He didn't turn up and didn't call. A complete waste of time.

Erick was very responsive to our intial inquiries, while a few other places in the area were not. He was able to come over and make us a quote very quickly, and then started work when we needed him. His price was very fair and the work was excellent! On the first day, he sanded all the floors and had me come see a few different samples of stain on our floor, which was extremely helpful to visualize the final product compared to the little samples or online (I was originally thinking dark walnut, but after seeing it on my floor, I thought it was a little too dark, so I went with provincial instead, and I'm very glad I did). He then stained, did 3 coats of poly, and installed shoe molding. It took about a week to completely finish and dry. He also repaired a large part of the floor where an old vent was; he rebuilt the subfloor and matched the wood, so you would never notice or feel a difference! All the previous scratches and worn marks are gone, and now you can see the beautiful grain throughout the house (even closets). Overall, he did a fabulous job, and I would highly recommend!

Of all the contractors that I employed on this project, EM Hardwood Floors, was the best. While other contractors took their time getting back to me either in phone calls or messaging, Eric, the owner of the company, returned my calls promptly, showed up when he said he would and worked harder than anyone else to earn my business. The quality of his work and attention to detail was far above any of the other contractors I've used in South Carolina. I will go out of my way to recommend EM Hardwood Floors to others.

I hired Erick to refinish and repair 900 sf of 1940’s hardwood floors. Erick came out with in one day to give me a quote, which was the best quote I received out of 3. Erick started the job within 3 days of the quote and completed the job in 4.5 days. The floors look amazing! I couldn’t be happier! Erick’s work is prompt and professional I recommend him 100%.

Erick did an amazing job of my floors. He is a true professional with a very pleasant demeanor. He takes the time to discuss all aspects of the job and what to expect. He answered all my questions and performed the work in a timely manner. He shows up on time and keeps in touch to advise when he's finished and what comes next. He was very reasonably prices compared to 5 others but did not compromise quality. I would definitely use Erick again and highly recommend him for any projects.

Erick was wonderful! I had several estimates and his was the most reasonable. I have had floors done in my other houses many times. All the estimates I received were double of what I have paid in the past for approximately the same square footage. Erick from EM Hardwood was reliable, efficient and personable. He really took pride in his work, which you don't see very much lately. His price was exactly what he said it would be. There was no surprises. For 1103 square feet, using a water base finish (which is more than oil base) we paid approximately $2500

I called Erick after reading his Angie's List reviews. Needless to say, I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. My house was built in 1964 and had one inch wide red oak hardwood flooring that was originally finished clear. The flooring had separated over the years leaving lots of very narrow gaps and it had turned gray in other areas. I wanted to stain the floors a darker color to compliment other renovations done on the house. Erick's quote was very fair based on the amount of work to be done. I checked with three other Angie's List hardwood refinishers and I am also a licensed general contractor so I have a good idea of the pricing for hardwood refinishing. My time frame was very short and Erick started my project within three days. He personally did the work. After sanding the floors Erick put three stain samples on the floor so I could choose which one I wanted to go with which was very helpful. He used wood filler to fill many gaps in the flooring. I will also say I was very surprised at how little dust was left after the sanding process which is generally messy and involves a lot of clean up afterwards. After a day of sanding, Erick spent a day staining the hardwoods, then three successive days applying three separate coats of polyurethane. Start to finish, the entire process was 5 or 6 days. Erick also installed new shoe moulding throughout the house where it needed to be removed to complete the refinishing. The floors look brand new and changed the entire appearance of the house. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the end result. Erick did a fantastic job in all aspects of this project and I highly recommend him.

Moved furniture and removed carpet. Secured base floor to stop squeaks. Installed hardwood flooring. Sanded and stained. Took 4 days and the floors look amazing.

Erick is extremely professional. He did exactly what he promised, and completed the job in a timely manner. He came over and gave me a quote, I gave him a partial payment, and he began the project on Tuesday. He removed all of the old carpet, padding, and tack strips. Then, he sanded the floors down, vacuumed up the dust, and began installing the floors. Once the floors were done, he installed shoe molding, and transition boards to make the floors look seamless. He put all of the furniture back, wiped the floors down, and removed all of the trash. I am extremely happy with my new floors!

I contacted Erick for an estimate on a hardwood floor repair and within 24 hours I received the estimate along with the project being complete within 48 hours. I gave Erick the difficult task of trying to replace flooring on a wood that is no longer being manufactured. When the job was complete the wood was a perfect match and the job was expertly done. Erick was professional and easy to work with, which is I why I would recommend him to family and friends. He has gained a loyal customer.
